Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. LaosThe whole set up on the beautiful shore is very well organized, and apart from some decoration limits, it's a place you can only enjoy to stay at. Turtles await you for a swim downstairs!

EstoniaThe resort lays on a steep shore and if you have problems with constant climbing the place is not for you. There is No accessible sandy Beach near the resort. Shark Beach next to the Hotel is private and can only be accessed via Beach resort for extra cost. Going out of the resort is only possible by scooter or other transportation. Nothing within walking distance and the steep roads does not invite for a walk. Felt a little bit deserted but overall was nice
Spacious and clean rooms, amazing ocean view. Im not sure how full the Hotel was, we hardly saw any other guests during our stay. Luckily for us it meant the pool was not crowded at all and there was always plenty of sunchairs to choose from. Great snorkeling right in front of the resort. We saw nice fish and a turtle. Breakfast was good.

AustraliaRoom was comfortable, amazing sea view and clean. Just a bit outdated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool area is great and there is a small beach you can snorkel from connected to the resort. Main downside is feels like the resort is trying to get more money from guests all the time. Since it's far from any other restaurants/cafes, food and drinks at the hotel are expensive and taste is just okay, very westernized. Snorkeling equipment also costs extra. Lose a key card or a towel, extra money. Would be nice if the shuttle to the island center ran more often. You can also reach the center with a motorbike but the road leading to the resort is very steep so only for experienced riders.

SpainThe road to the hotel is very tricky and dangerous because its very high up and the fact that you need to climb a minimum of 50 stairs in order to get anywhere around the hotel but thats also the beauty of this place so its hard to put it under the cons
The design of the hotel is absolutely spectacular! Its a work of art and amazing views from every angle! However, you better be very fit because you will have to be climbing hundreds of stairs up and down every day :) after 2 days you are going to wish that you did not forget something in your room and have to come back hahah

United KingdomNot nice. If you don't buy the buffet, you are not allowed at all to eat in the restaurant even if it was empty. You need to eat in your room and only from 10am. I wanted to order a coffee before 10 and the manager (I think the older one as the other were like 18 years old) told me NO on the 02 january morning around 7-8am. Unbelievable for a 5 stars ... Then, at 10 am I went to the swimming Pool. NO ONE AT THE BAR SWIMMING POOL...I waited a little bit so staff was late again.. Then I see this man again who was at the restaurant previously working there and I asked just for a coffee, he told me NO again and that I had to order in my room only so i contacted by whatsap the reception. I still have the text message and they told me that from 10am he was supposed to make me a coffee at the pool and then reception called him and he did make the coffee... He lied to the reception and said that I ask for a breakfast at the pool which I didn't, I said clearly that I wanted a coffee or a bottle of water. He just didn't want to do it. This man just didn't want to do his job and since the beguining was against me without any reason especially I am a very polite woman. It is funny because I noticed later on that he was like by magic very smiley and doing too much with some other Italian customers...Last hotel we were was BOPHUT RESORT AND MORACEA HOTEL and was not treated like that... This is clearly not a 5 stars!!!! Also the stairs never end even for a young women like me.it was so hard just to reach the pool or restaurant. The stairs never stopper.. It was so painfull. IF YOU ARE OLD OR WITH HEALTH PROBLEM IT IS GONNA BE A HUGE PAIN FOR YOU. THINK TWICE. Room service finish at 6pm then you are stuck in your room with no food ... ONCE AGAIN THIS IS NOT A 5 STARS SERVICE...
The sea view from the room was incredible!!! The room was not expensive. The young waiter for the new eve dinner around 8h30pm was very nice. You could see he was professional! Housekeeping staff were so friendly and helpfull.

United KingdomStairs - there are around 200-300 steps to climb, it wasn't just the amount of stairs, it was the construction as they were wavy and somewhat uneven. If you have any mobility issues, this hotel would not be suitable. We marked the location down a bit as it is far from everything and a steep climb up and down the road leading to the main area and you would need a car or scooter to get around. The pool staff member was fairly rude on the only day we used the pool about using an extra towel, there was no reason for this and made the experience awkward
The pool villa was amazing, the views were stunning, the lady on reception was super friendly and helpful and were very responsive on WhatsApp if you messaged. We used room service more than we normally do as there were at least 200-300 steps to walk up and down to get to the restaurant and reception. The food for room service was good and was around the same price as eating in the restaurant. The dive shop staff were friendly and rearranged our snorkeling trip to another day without any issues. All in all, was a nice hotel and stay.

GermanyFor people with not good conditions, this resort isn’t good. To many stairs up and down. Finally 2-3 time per day a power outage for 5-10 Minutes normally you don’t like, but it is normal in many island places in Thailand.
The location inside the very nice cliff is amazing. The panorama view is awesome. The restaurant very nice and delicious food. Finally the pool area is outstanding and the drinks and service at the pool unique.

DenmarkWe arrived in the morning with the ferry, so we checked in, and we could hang out by the pool. They told us that they will write to us on WhatsApp ( as we needed to send our room number to them so they knew the number), when our room is ready, which was supposed to be around 1pm. We texted them.on WhatsApp, no reply. We waited until 2pm when we went up to the lobby and asked there as we just wanted to rest in the room. They said that the room has been ready for a while at that point...it was annoying that they didn't send a message as they said they would. Later that evening at around 8pm, we got a message from them saying sorry that they just saw our message. Unacceptable for a 5star hotel.... The personnel at the check in was friendly, but generally we got the feeling from the staff that they didn't really cared much about the guests. The room wasn't anything special, except for the view of course which made us forget about all these bad things.8
Fantastic location, though it is placed on a cliff, so get ready to climb many steep stairs on a daily basis. View, pool amazing.

United KingdomOnly comment is to have more plug points in the bedroom for charging overnight.
Stunning views, amazing pool, comfy loungers. Beautiful rooms. Great staff. I was lucky and saw turtles when I snorkelled in the late afternoon once all the boats had gone. Very relaxing place and much better than sairee beach location in my opinion. Has 3 shuttles a day to the pier and there is 1 alternative restaurant in walking distance but you can't walk anywhere else, it's too steep and too many motorists. They serve sparkling wine at breakfast! What more could you want! Wish I'd stayed another night.

United KingdomThe room was tired in some areas, furniture could do with restaining, the accommodation really could have done with a buggy service as was like climbing tiger temple just to get to reception. We had an issue with the booking when arriving, they tried to ask for more money to open up the second room of the 2 bedroom villa we had which I just dont get at all.. if I have booked a 2 bedroom villa - regardless to on my own or not, I want a 2 bedroom villa.. this was resolved in the end but made me uncomfortable having to dispute this upon arrival. Having stayed in many 5 star resorts.. I really must say that this does not quite make the cut when it comes to what's on offer and the general resort itself.
The room itself was perfectly done, the resort is great for snorkeling and was lucky enough to snorkle with turtles from the bay at the resort. A member of staff i think her name was Onya was absolutely amazing and so personable and friendly - shout out to her!
