Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomUnable to access any sunbeds and spaces in the pool because they were always reserved earlier than we can make our reservations even in the earliest mornings. A balcony would have been nice. The Russians could smile more and act more friendly especially to us British Jamaicans! Smiling and friendliness is free!
The breakfast and room were fine but didn't access the pool amenity.

ThailandDid not accept American Express credit card - a hotel of this stature one would expect to accept this credit card. Pool is crowded - hard to get a lounge.
Location across from beach and shops. Parking available. Pool and other facilities. Room with view of ocean

United KingdomThe room whilst large has a strange combination of a single bed and a standard double. It would be better just to have one king size double bed. There is no hotel bar.
Great location. Yards from the beach and a very short walk to all of Jomtiens facilities. Other areas just a short taxi ride away (less than 100 bhat). Good size room and good breakfast. TV and fridge in the room with some seating.

IndiaThe staff at the Bowling alley. They forst told us we could come next day at 10 am and when we went at 10 am they said they have a private booking at 11 am. Since it was for my 10 years old son to play for one round we said we could do that and wind up. One staff was nice and wanting to acvommodate but the other one said .. its 5000 THB for 1 round since they are going out of the way . We quitely walked out. A small gesture and payment requested as per the card rate would have gone a long way. Second issue is the WC flush. The owners need to invest in the hotel. The staff are doing their best

Excellent hotel for the money, very well presented and clean; great location next to the beach and all the clubs. Incredible that it had it's own bowling alley and snooker tables. Staff were every polite, discreet and attentive.

ThailandCleanliness could have been better. Stain on sofa, shower didn't drain and spilt everywhere, lots of little ants. Smelt a bit musty in the corridors. Pool was dated and high sided - difficult to get into and out of for old people. Lots of the jacuzzi jets not working. Service was a bit slow at the restaurant. not very efficient. Ran out of pool loungers very quickly and we were on mattresses on the grass. Check in and general staff attentiveness a bit sloppy. Beach was a bit naff and the sea water scummy on entry. I like our stay, but the hotel was a bit big for me - so impersonal.
Loved having the Bowling on site. Breakfast had great options and was efficient. The pool was large, but a bit dated. The rooms were large. We had a triple and it had an L shaped sofa in it and a bath and a shower. Lots of cupboard space too. staff at the restaurant were friendly. Pool and snooker room was great. Great location beach, restaurants, bars, shops - all close. 10 mins to Pratumnak area and chocolate factory and sky lounge. Market behind great for cheap food.

United KingdomTwo large hotels in one and a small pool area. The hotel. The hotel was full of mainly Russians which I didn’t like. This was reflective of Jomtien beach in general, so I don’t blame the hotel for that.
Spacious with two breakfast rooms with a good breakfast. Bedroom was very comfortable. 10 lane 10 pin bowling lanes and a large snooker room.

United KingdomThis is a four star hotel.. supposed to be. My bathroom was disgusting. Mould in the shower and around the bath and broken tiles. I complained, they sent a cleaner up to clean it. There was no way she could get it off as it needs maintenance. My friend paid a extra £20 PER night to be moved in a newly painted room. The beds were made every daily, bins empty and clean towels. But the room was not cleaned eg sink and bath . Both pools did not have enough sun beds for the size of the hotel. You had to be down by 8.30 to get one. The pool on the 3rd floor only had 6 sunbeds! The man on the reception was not helpful when we checked in. He did not give us any info just the keys...not even were to go and get the lift, what time breakfast . Checking out was worse. He put the phone down on me when asking a question. Went down and told us we did not have breakfast included. I kept telling him yes and ended up showing my booking . I would not employee this man, he was rude and had no customer care skills. I witnessed him raising his voice and hands at staying guests. The hotel needs a good refurb! Sorry but I won't go back ..
Big bedroom and good air con, clean towels every day . Lovely bowling alley and snooker room. Two swimming pools. Nice OLD hotel. Good position .

CanadaThe cleaning and maintenance are not great, but it's ok, as we have been in 2 other hotels and they are the same. Probably in this area the standard of cleaning isn't the best... (We have been in this area in 3 hotels, all under $ 100 cad per bight) The pool is big and clen (but needs some maintenance, some tiles are broken)
Breakfast and pool I compared my stay to D varee and Goldan beach. The breakfast at Palm Beach is the best! I stayed twice at this hotel. I had been for a couple of nights, then I went to 2 other hotels and came back(because they had the most comfortable mattress and best food) When I came back, I got a room with a soft mattress, not like on my first stay, so i asked to change rooms to a harder mattress, and they changed my room without any problems)
