They quoted too high a price for a taxi when asked. I did get a bit tired of the loud music EVERY evening.

Amazing location just beautiful. Quite beach with great chalets a few steps away from beach 🏝️. Seven eleven & small village 5 minutes walk . Chilled vibe relaxing place to stay . Beach towels supplied great fire 🔥 show each night . Live music . Good WiFi . Electric shower and cleaned daily .

Beautiful, right beside the beach . Second time staying here so knew what to expect. Room spotless and comfortable. Bed comfy and big . Staff are a ok feels like you are bothering them when you ask for something but overall ok . Food in restaurant very good .

Some of the rooms are grim. We updated to a “deluxe room” because the room they originally gave us was dark, no seating in the room but the bed (though there is room for a chair), and, though we are two people in the room, one side of the bed was against the wall meaning I’d have to crawl over my partner to go to the bathroom at night.

Very nice beach location and walkable to markets and restaurants. Also, Nick, at the front desk is super charming and helpful. Also, the restaurant is terrible and the wait staff unfriendly. They actually seem to resent having to serve guests.

The blanket was weird (a fleece blanket between two separate sheets, not inside a duvet cover) so during the night it always got tangled and out of the sheets

Our beachfront bungalow was right on the beach. We could wake up to the sound of waves every morning. The bungalow was comfortable and clean, shower had always hot water. Short walk to restaurants and 7eleven.

The Why Not Bar was OK but not really what we are personally looking for from a holiday in Thailand. For those wanting fire shows every night and fairly loud music, then this is the place for you.

Excellent location on beachfront at Kantiang Bay. Bungalow was spacious and clean with good balcony overlooking the sea. Close to Kantiang village for local shops etc.

The beds were so hard. They were the hardest we’d slept on during our 3 week stay Thailand. The rooms only had 2 plug sockets and they were nowhere near the beds. No lamps in the room so can’t read in bed. Some of the staff seemed a little overworked, you’d go to bed at midnight and wake up at 7am and it would be the same staff on. This resulted in some, not all, slightly grumpy staff and slow service sometimes.

The location is amazing, on the beach - a beautiful beach, very clean, crystal waters, white sand. Nicky was very helpful arranging taxis and providing info. The food in the restaurant was delicious.

I was horrified and disappointed that a huge amount of cans of ‘silly string’ or ‘crazy string’ were given out to New Years Eve revellers to set off at midnight. This was from the bar next to the hotel, but I think the hotel should have acted to stop this. As it was high tide, all the silly string ended up in masses of plasticy strands right in the ocean. Off to break up and pollute the marine ecosystem with microplastics and toxins. This all floated offshore into the beautiful Koh Lanta ocean together with discarded aerosol cans. We rescued what we could but there was so much! :( I left what should have been an amazing celebration of the beauty of nature feeling sad. This was environmentally irresponsible and the party organisers should not have allowed this to happen at all. Go biodegradable next time!!

It was a lovely quiet beach in a scenic setting. Breakfast wasn’t included but the food was all good anyway. There was a fire show on the beach each night that we were there. I loved the hose at the bottom of our steps to rinse our feet off with. Great massages right on site.

Could not complain at under £60 per night for a family room over Christmas set right on the beach.

Location was fabulous. Had a sea view without expecting one and free wi-fi. Staff on reception very helpful.

We loved the location - it’s beautiful, but be aware it’s at the far end of the island - so you either need to be happy with something a little more isolated - or happy to ride a scooter to other places.

We really enjoyed our time here. The set up of the resort is good and it feels very quiet and private - even though the rooms are close together. The room was great - had everything we needed and was cleaned anytime we requested. Others have commented on the noise from the why not bar, but this always stopped at 10pm which to me is very reasonable

Need enough sunbeds on beach to match how many people staying there. There’s never enough available and they get snapped up for the day very quickly. Could also do with some umbrellas for shade.

Great location on beautiful beach. Big rooms. Restaurant/bar gets a bit of a party vibe- good if you’re in the mood. Otherwise other options nearby Same same at other end of the beach some of the best Thai food I’ve eaten in great beach setting. Aqua bar for great quiet cocktails next door with fun staff.

Unfortunately, this was not our favorite stay despite the beauty of the bungalow. First, there's a lot of bungalows. We had neighbors on 3 sides. There is a porch but to sit on it you are looking at a tree and then all the other bungalows around you. There were 2 to the right, 3-4 in front of us and 1 to the left. There wasn't much going for the view and atmosphere of the porch and it did not feel private at all. The biggest problem for us though, was the bar next door was loud. They enjoy there techno music, I like it too... But despite being the furthest possible bungalow from the bar we could hear the bass in our room very easily and constantly. It was quite awful honestly. Because it's really not just hearing the music, it's feeling and hearing the bass specifically. It was too much. The hotel seems to be related to the restaurant and bar but when we asked about the music they said it won't go to late and left it at that. It went quite strong until 10pm at least. But we were waking up at 6am so this was not nice and not peaceful - which is so strange for Koh Lanta which is meant to be a calm and sleepy island. We slept with earplugs. And the distance.. it's quite south and we knew going into this that it was a half hour from north. I'm okay with that because I booked it thinking that we would be getting a peaceful stat, so who cares about the extra drive. But. It wasn't so. So we ended up driving a lot anyways to go eat - in places that were north and peaceful somehow - just to drive another 30 minutes home to our party bungalow. For us, it was not a good fit. Perhaps for others, this is exactly what they want!

The room was so gorgeous. The bungalow wood design with accents was the most beautiful and intricate that we've stayed in yet. They also have under glow in the bathroom, bed, and wooden wall accents which is quite cool! There is AC. If you ask for housekeeping - must put the sign on your door - then they give 2 small water bottles daily. Fridge is great for keeping water cold. There was a strong hose out front to wash you sand of the feet. Our bungalow was steps from the ocean. Although we didn't swim here, but that may mostly be because we decided to get scuba certified which took up most of our time. The staff were helpful with opening our safe for us, because prior guests left it locked, and getting a tour organized for us as well.

Not a dislike, but the accommodation is pretty basic, but that is reflected in the price so we didn't mind! It was still comfy and had everything we needed, and loved being able to walk out of our door and right onto the beach. The only downside was the music from the bar was super loud and did go on fairly late into the night, but this was only an issue because I like to go to bed early!

Absolutely fab location, with a lovely restaurant and Why Not Bar right next to / part of the hotel. We spent a lot of time at the bar and loved that you could order food there. The food from the restaurant was great, and the nightly fire shows, DJ and live music created such a buzz! The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the cheap and speedy laundry service was a welcome bonus. You're down a small track which keeps you a little out of the way so the beach is pretty quiet, but a short walk from other restaurants and shops. Recommend Drunken Sailors, we ate there 3 times during our stay in Kantiang Bay! The massages were a really cool bonus too, super reasonable priced and right on the beach with the sound of the waves.

The room has very minimal furniture and decor despite being very big. The AC was not so easy to set it in a way that would cool down the whole room as it was pointed directly to the bed, making the nights too cold
