Beautiful location on a quiet part of the beach. Good breakfast - especially the egg station. Plenty of Sun loungers and just a step into the beach. We would have prefered it if there was no smoking at breakfast, we had to move tables a few times to avoid smoke wafting over our food.

Downside to being further out is cost of transportation getting to town or other places for meals. However found Nice options walking along beach.

It was quieter than many. Also being at the end of the bay beach area felt like it was just ours. We liked the pools and the gardens.

It's a great resort but a little far away from the city centre. So, if you want hustle and bustle, bars, cafes, and restaurants, this may not be the right one to book.

Beautiful beach! Enough restaurants on the beach for a couple of nights but for a longer stay you would want to take a taxi to the village/main area. Got an upgrade to seaview bungalow, much appreciated!! Enough sunbeds for guests. Very calm and scenic.

Where this resort is let down is the breakfast and the bar area. The breakfast was so unappealing that we hardly wanted to eat there. The oil used for the omelette & cooked food had a horrible aftertaste and the selection of pastry was scarce. There was no real coffee, only very bad filtered coffee. The bar next to the pool had no atmosphere, little decor and white plastic chairs. The margarita cocktails were quite terrible and obviously not made by a barman. We always went next door for cocktails after this. Such a shame these areas let this resort down so much as it really is a lovely place to stay.

Attractive resort on a beautiful beach in Koh Lak. It was extremely clean even if a little dated but still a nice Thai classical feel with pretty tropical gardens. The beachfront bungalow was spacious with a large bathroom and a stunning uninterrupted view of the beach. The location was great, quiet and relaxing but still close to other restaurants and beachfront bars and the walk into town was only 20 minutes. Service was friendly & professional. The 2 pools were nice with sea-view and there were sunloungers also facing the beach.

A little far from the main town area - 150THB in a taxi (maybe less if you negotiate) - it’s only a 1.5 km walk if you prefer

My stay was very good. The room is very big and spacious. The equipment is a bit old, but still well maintained and very clean and tidy everything. I had 2 beds in the room and both were rather not so comfortable for me. But no problem - I got an extra topper for the mattress, so it was more comfortable. Both the staff and the cleaners were very friendly and attentive. Beautiful, well-kept and green grounds with 2 pools. Beach right outside the door. I loved staying there in the evenings and enjoying the sound of the sea before going to sleep :) The food in the hotel restaurant was amazing. And great beach bars right next door. A little outside the center, about 20 minutes walk. But the first bars and mini shops can be reached after about 10 minutes on foot. Khao Lak is a beautiful place with a very special flair. I felt very comfortable and would book again :)

Great location, almost at the end of Khaolak Bay. Beachfront / Just steps from the room (we stayed in a seaview bungalow) to the beach. Breakfast is super good for a well-priced hotel. Staff is great / very helpful
