Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Beds were really hard, staff were not friendly and woke me up by talking really loud.
Bed had curtian, light and PowerPoint. Was quiet in thr night. Had a Kitchen. Had AC.

Not social, but Hat Yai is not that interesting as well.
Good hostel for an overnight stay in Hat Yai to catch your bus/boat to your next place.

Our room had 6 bunks. We only needed 5. The toilet was near. And the showers downstairs were clean and we felt safe. Location is walking distance from Lee Market and a short tuk-tuk ride to Central Hatyai Mall. Overall, the stay was great. Staff wise, nothing out of the extra ordinary.

The staff is not that friendly but still approachable.
The location is very strategic, just walking distance to most tourist attractions in the city. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Iron and towel are provided. The staff let us drop our luggage first before check in because we arrived early.

Can think of anything... everything is fine ..no complaint
Clean...well look after...only 6 mins to Lee Garden Night Market..and also peaceful area ..fully recommended for travellers looking for cheap and budget hostel .i definitely come back and stay here

This is my second time. This time I had the whole room by myself then someone was there. In downtown. Close to bus station and train. You can walk to where u want to go. There is exchange money nearby and big c and seven 7/11

The toilet is not really clean, smelly always... 2 time when I go inside the floor got poo and tissue... the bed sheet also make my skin itchy... and the room is not ventilated... the people cough and fart will make us really uncomfortable...

Maybe partially due to an unlucky situation with who was in my room, but this hostel felt very uncomfortable. There were several people in the (all male) room that made me think "this is why some hostels have all-female dorms." They seemed to be not concerned with cleanliness, nor with generally being respectful of the fact that they were staying in a shared room. Lots of bodily noises, alarm clocks going off multiple times in the middle of the night, etc. The door to enter and leave the room was noisy. Having only one bathroom per floor (combined toilet/shower) is very inconvenient. No real common area for hanging out, just a few small tables by the front desk.
Location is right in the center.

Had bed bugs and even though the staff offered to change beds it was still a problem.
Staff was friendly and was able to answer my questions on various attractions (like details on how to get there). The floor tiling on the stairs and the wooden flooring in the toilet made the place look good and clean. The toilet was very clean. There's a good restaurant (Ban Khun Bhu) and a convenience store about a minute's walk away.

Superb hostel in Hatyai. near to downtown just a walking distance 5 min to Lee Gardens. a mini Bing C just right to the corner. Super comfortable and spacious bed.
