Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The staff is amazing and the muay thai aspect attracts a really cool crowd. Everything is always super clean in the rooms. A/C is adjustable so you can make it as cold as you want.

Amazing location, great steps away from street food, plenty of restaurants and just a short walk from the beach. Friendliest staff and they do an amazing job too. They clean the room to perfection daily as well as the whole ground floor. Muay Thai classes are available twice a day to those interested as well.

Beautiful place. So cheap and a nice location for a more chill time. Not a social hostel as in activities but more chill and there's plenty seats you can talk to people down by reception and the muay Thai pit. They keep the place so so clean, floors are washed and bathroom cleaned every day, they even change the sheets on your bed and give you a new towel. Really amazing stay, very nice and peaceful and the balcony was a perfect touch.

The beds were not drilled to the wall, so every time they were shaking from every movement. As far as I know they changed it after. AC was working very slowly so it was very hot in the room. No curtains for beds
The only good thing is location and low price. So if you need to come to Ao nang and stay for 1 night there it’s okay. But more nights will be impossible

Only thing was the beds had no curtains however that wasn’t an issue for us really.
Very friendly and our room had a seperstr section with out beds which was nice. Also had good AC and my boyfriend attending the morning Muay Thai sessions which were amazing!

We stayed 3 nights and left for another hostel. 2 of the nights there wasn’t any running water till at least 10 o’clock in the morning. So no shower or toilet usage was possible. I heard from other backpackers it happends almost every evening till somewhere in the morning. The owner didn’t answere the phone when we tried to call. I never recieved a key for the room or locker. Its suppose to be a party hostel: every night around 9 it’s already dark….. no music, no drinks, no nothing. The beds are poor! Every move you feel and no privacy nor curtains. When we contacted booking.com about all the incidents they couldn’t get in touch with the hostel as well. I don’t understand how the hostel got such a high rate.

The beds were awful, both the mattress and the construction were so poor you shook the entire bed trying to get in and inevitably disturbed the other person anytime you rolled over. There were quite a lot of mosquitoes in the room when I arrived. I also booked into an all female dorm but was placed in a mixed dorm. The AC in the room was on but did nothing to help the temperature in the room. Nothing social about this hostel, no real atmosphere and everyone seemed to go elsewhere to hangout.
Location was alright, about 20 min walk to the main area/beach but kind of nice to be out of the super busy area. Other than location there wasn’t much I liked about this hostel. I suppose for the price, if you’re just looking for a bed to sleep it’s not the worst you could do.

The bed was comfortable enough but was very unstable and kept on swaying when you move. There is a common area but it’s not very comfortable either.
Decent location and good for anyone looking to do some Muay Thai although there are probably better places for it.

Bed squeaked a little but not an issue. Limited water in basin tap but shower works 24/7
The dormitories are nicely decorated and inviting. One en- suite for 6 and clean. Best pillow yet. You think initially is further out but quickly see you are just a walk away. I found a quick cut through to the beach which saved time. Lots of locker space. Would definitely recommend.

Nothing bad to say
Everything. The location is perfect. Near the beach and many local restaurants and street food. 7 eleven near the hostel, also laundry... The staff was so friendly. I feel very comfortable. At the end I spent almost 3 weeks. Super recommended to stay in Ao Nang or to stop in your way to the islands.

It felt more like a UFC Bootcamp rather than a hostel. The mattresses were way too soft, so it felt like you was sleepin on Pliewood.
It was a decent Hostel for a fair price. The staff was super nice and the dude that was working their is happy to help you train downstairs.

Its a bit far from the beach
All clean, quiet, WiFi is fine. U have muy Thai ring beneath the hostel and u can take some classes as well. Close to the food etc.

I really like my days in this hostel!!! The location it's a little log way until the beach, but I like walk and see te city, was perfect to my. And is possible go walking until the mountain temple! In my last day had a muay tai combat, i loved!!! The room are big and comfortable!!! The woman that work on reception is very friendly.
