Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ThailandThe staff were friendly and the restaurant was very clean and tidy. I just found the quality of the breakfast foods didn't seem as good as the rest of the resort. If having a cooked breakfast with fruits, then options and quality wasn't great. Coffee was great though!
Definitely the best hotel/resort we stayed on while travelling through Thailand. The entire resort was amazingly clean and tidy and exceptionally well kept!! The staff were great, the pool was lovely, the rooms were clean, modern and very well kept. The bed was amazingly comfortable! Fantastic price for the resort, in a very quiet place but still close enough to facilities etc. although we did have motorbikes, lots of parking if you do have a car or motorcycle.

United StatesIt would have been nice to have some sort of coffee option in the room so I didn't have to go all the way to the restaurant (it was far and I wake up early). Also, the room furnishings were sparse. It would have been lovely to have a dresser or even a table to put the luggage on/in. The closet is cramed into one little area withe the refrigerator, kettle, etc... is yet, the room has plenty of space for more.
It felt like stepping into an oasis; beautiful grounds and pool. I had been traveling all around and this was a welcome retreat with on demand hot water (with lots of pressure), wonderful toiletries and a comfy bed. I loved that it was on the edge of town but some others might want to be closer.

CanadaThere was a terrible oder in the bathroom all the time. Not sure what it was or where it was coming from, but it was like rotten sewer. This smell tended to drift into the main room, which was very annoying and disappointing, considering the higher quality of the rest of the resort.
Breakfast was very good. Lots of selection and fresh food.

United KingdomPaying 500 Baht on arrival as key deposit - is it really necessary as no other hotels on our 4 week trip required this. Price of food and drink at the restaurant ridiculously overpriced; for example large bottle of Singha for 300 Baht, whereas all other restaurants we used were charging 80 - 100. (300 Baht is £7.50 - you can get the same at a UK supermarket for £2.50). As the bungalows back on to one another it is easy to hear noise next door - not so good when someone's coughing their guts up for 2 hours in the middle of the night.
Excellent setting. Individual bungalows in a garden setting made you forget you were in the middle of a city. Large pool with plenty of room for lounging after a day out. Large range of items in breakfast buffet. Room good size and very comfortable bed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Tuk tuks always parked up on site so transport always available - albeit overpriced and a Grab taxi to town is about half the price, even for 2 people. Excellent location, either for getting to centre of town or for easy way out of town if you have a hire car; which hotel can arrange for a very good price with delivery in 10 minutes.

CanadaShower was surprisingly not that hot. Quite cold in January so possibly slightly heavier blankets would be acceptable.
The property with the gardens were beautiful and lush. Felt like you were not in the city but somewhere in the jungle. Beds were relatively comfortable.

CanadaAll was great!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Laluna! Cute hotel, good location and online pictures are exactly as advertised. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfy, lush grounds are well kept, and staff were all fantastic. The onsite restaurant's lunch menu was really good and the food was delicious. Breakfast is buffet style and was also a pleasant suprise. We booked (5) in room Thai Oil Massages with the hotel front desk and received confirmation up to 20mins before with our preferred time. Only in Thailand!! Overall, we highly recommend and will be back!!!!
