location is almost at the far end of the island and away from the nicer of the beaches. it is about 10 min walk to the other side. AC was not working fully in room; staff tried to sort but to no avail

Went solo and met people easily. party hostel on the island with events on every night. stayed extra night. friendly staff!

More expensive than other locations due to isolated area.

Lots of solo backpackers, friendly staff, quiet on a night, plenty of partying too! Climbing was amazing on the local beaches.

The activities are rather expensive. You don't have control over the AC in your room and when I was there it was ridiculously cold at night so that everyone had to wear jumpers to sleep... that's completely nuts and such a waste.

Very cool youth hostel full of young people so very lively. Nice pool and amazing views. Friendly staff and plenty of activities.

Facing 100 stairs to get to your room is a real deterrent to going out and wanting to come back each night. Air conditioning is turned off from 11am until 5 or 6 p.m. it wouldn't be too bad if there was a common room to keep you cool, but the common area is outside in the sun.

The staff rocks, the beds are comfortable and there is food on site!

Up a lot of stairs and at the end of Railay beach but not a big problem as there was a lift for bags.

The steps up to the hostel are a bit of a killer with a rucksack but very manageable. The wifi isn't great.

Probably the most rock solid bed i have ever slept on. It was genuinely like a plank of wood. Also odd because, none of the other beds in my dorm were as hard as mine, although still hugely uncomfortable. No curtains around the beds, which i feel is odd, and would be an easy fix. Staff come into your dorm whenever, without knocking, which is also extremely odd, and an invasion of privacy. You as a guest have no control over the air con, so the room gets extremely damp. When we first arrived, our floor and walls were wet to touch. Quite an uncomfortable experience.

Stunning view from the bar/ restaurant, and quick service and good food from the restaurant. Pretty location. Lots of events on that you can choose to partake in.

It’s a good clam place, 10 minutes of walkable distance to every place of Phi Phi island. I got the ferry tour bookings got done at the reception. Overall a good experience.

It was my first time being in a hostel and I very much enjoyed my stay. We got really great british lads in our dorm so they made the stay comfy and the staff made it very easy to stay there. There are a lot of options to socialize and get to know people:) I'd definitely love to come back

The only downside is there is no curtains on the beds but idle didn’t affect my stay.

Location was great. Good vibe for solo travelers. Social without being too pushy/party vibes but the activities were really fun. I extended my stay twice and the staff were very helpful. My favourite hostel from my 5 week stay in Thailand. I would absolutely stay again ! Loads of animals around which was amazing and the view from the pool area was gorgeous!!! Definitely come and stay here to enjoy the railay beach experience

The only thing I would suggest improving is that there wasn’t a curtain on the bed for privacy.

We absolutely loved our stay at Blanco. The hostel was amazing - plenty of activities, nice pool and lovely room (with a balcony which is rare!) The staff were also really nice and helpful.

Party hostel, even though I didn’t party every night there was loud music Dorm of 12 beds, one shower (!) and it was dirty Aircon was put cold, was no remote in the room Mattress was super hard
