When searching for a place to stay at Koh Chang, I was drawn to the great reviews for Lazy Republique. Well, I can say they are accurate and our stay was very relaxing and comfortable. Fred and Pio are fantastic hosts and nothing is a problem. They made our stay even more memorable. Fred's breakfasts are a vary welcome start to the day, as are Pio's cocktails are great way to unwind at the end of the day. The location is scenic and quiet. There is a great value Thai/European restaurant very close by and a variety of shops and markets a short scooter ride away. The units are self contained, comfortable and of a good size. There is no TV, which I appreciated for a location like this. If you want to make a coffee in your room, Fred will provide you with a kettle.

You come as a guest , you leave as a friend. Fred and Pilou are the hosts that we are all looking for when we’re travelling. At Lazy République you will find clean and spacious bungalows, a swimming pool, a bar with good music, but more than that, you will find one of the most friendly atmosphere that you can dream of. Booking several nights here was the best decision I’ve ever made in Koh Chang. Highly recommended.

LatviaWe had the best time in Lazy Republiqe! This place is very relaxing and perfect for chilling by the pool and enjoying amazing sunsets. Owners were super helpful . We had a million questions and they answered to all of them! They even recommended the best places to eat good Thai food and yes, it was amazing! Place is clean and the garden was taken care of as well. Delicious breakfast! You can book activities for your island trip on the site.

Good location in a more relaxed, less turistic part of the island. Very nice pool and lounge area. Good bar for evening drinks. Owners are very dedicated and always try to accomodate. Good breakfast.

GermanyRoom was middle. Way up to the room difficult to pass with the suitcases. Rooms have a lot of gaps, which bugs and all kind of insects come in. Noises in the walls.
Very, quiet and green location. Owner and staff was polite and willing to help.
