Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

From check in to check out, every interaction with staff. Stayed here during my birthday and had a small surprise from the hotel team. And the cool view from the balcony. Location.

United Kingdom£136 for a bottle of wine is EXTORTION, just because you’re on the Roof Top Bar, it doesn’t justify the cost. It’s only £46 for a decent bottle of Sauvignon at Vertigo at The Banyan Tree. Sort your prices out! Also, we pay premium for a Tower Suite so shouldn’t have to wait in a queue for the lifts to our suite due to the amount of customers for the Roof Top Bar.
Our second 4 night stay in 28 days. We came back because our first stay was so good. The staff in the Club Lounge are attentive, friendly, full of smiles and so lovely. Check with Mr Donut was super efficient again. He escorted us to our suite and gave us lots of information. We have always stayed in the Banyan Tree but from now on, it will be The Lebua.

United KingdomA very large deposit to pay but we weren’t advised prior to the stay
The property was beautiful and the balcony had amazing views of the city. It was my birthday and they made it special with decorating the suite and surprising me at breakfast and in the room with cake. The breakfast had a lot of choice too!

NetherlandsThe rooms are old , they need renewal. It is an iconic hotel but it became old in time. Rooms require a touch to keep the level otherwise there are new hotels around that we stayed, their rooms are superior as they are newer with the trendy luxury.
The cleanness of the lobby, ambience and piano ritual that welcomed us. Staff is friendly and attentive to details. Bars and restaurants at the hotel are spectacular. Breakfast was top notch.

The hotel is very lively, lovely rooms, we had one with the lounge included, so great value, as you can eat and drink until 6pm and it's included in the price of the bedroom,

AustraliaThe weird check-in process, which involved needing to provide a deposit, but only on specific credit cards or by cash, the overstated grandeur of the staff - which came across pompous rather than classy. The spa was broken, appeared to have had been for a while and the pool was cold such that we saw no one in it ever - likely because it was fully in the shade.
Breakfast was amazing, the rooms and the view were gorgeous and the staff helpful.

BREAKFAST WAS THE BEST BREAKFAST IVE EVER EXPERIENCED Balcony room view was truly amazing, huge room for what you pay for in comparison to other standard hotels in Bangkok and was super comfortable Staff were all lovely and super helpful! As a hotel guest you can go up to the rooftop FOC to go take a look, but if you're having a drink, be prepared to take a second mortgage out for it 🤣 it was the most expensive glass of wine I have ever purchased but it had to be done! Great hotel and would recommend! It's close by the the BTS as well which is handy for getting around certain areas of Bangkok!

SwedenThe sky bar on the highest level has extremely expensive cocktails!!! I guess you have to pay for the amazing view!
We had a fantastic stay at Le Bua State Tower! We got upgraded and got a corner room with a beautiful view over the Bangkok skyline. The room was absolutely perfect with two big balconies. Breakfast offered a range of different cuisine to choose from - all delicious. We highly recommend Le Bua!

SwitzerlandThe rooms are pretty dated in their state and equipment, but very clean. I didnt like that as of now it is prohibited to smoke on the balcony, which wasn't the case last time i visited. Would have been nice to see that information somewhere to take that into consideration.
Staff is very attentive and proactive, breakfast is awesome, view from the balcony on the riverside is stunning.

United KingdomWhen we arrived our cases were taken to be delivered directly to our room which was great. The problem was we were wearing casual clothing and there wasn’t anywhere within the hotel we could get a drink because of this. A casual bar in the reception area would have been perfect.
Location, staff, room and views were fantastic.

United KingdomOn arrival we was asked for a 10000 baht deposit. We had not been advised of this and therefor did not have a credit card with us. They wouldn't take a debit card which meant we had to draw the cash out of a card machine. Which we was escorted to by a member of staff. This was the last of our stays, during our Thailand visit which then meant we had to bring the money home with us to change back.
Hotel was lovely. Complimentary drinks in the room. Large rooms and the Tower suite lounge access was handy. Drinks and food in the lounge all complimentary. Staff helpful. Breakfast was great choice and very nice.
