Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It's a small walk from centrum but it's not much when the Island is relatively small
This hostel is really quiet and clean. Each bed has their own curtain and you can easily get some alone time in your bed if needed. There is also opportunity for a small locker to store things. Quiet area, and friendly staff

Very well priced for the location. Lovely staff and was comfortable. Rooms are a little bit small but very little time spent in the rooms so doesn’t matter. Well air conditioned and nice buzz around the place. Privacy was good with the curtains at the beds and rooms are cleaned everyday (floors and bathroom)

Bed bugs. The staff took my report seriously though so hopefully they get rid of the bugs for the next guest. The common area was not comfortable to sit and socialize. They were not very responsive in booking messaging. It's not cheap.
Super comfy beds. Ac. Clean bathroom with shower gels. Free towels. Free instant coffee and butter/jam for breakfast. Beach is right behind it. Pier is 11 minutes walking.

I wouldn’t advise leaving any shoes outside as I had my sliders stolen, the staff were able to show me on the cctv someone taking them, not the first time apparently.
The beds were fairly comfortable for a hostel, the location is slightly tucked away from the busier strips but a brief walk to get into any restaurants or bars. Staff were lovely

Lockers are very small. Can’t even fit a small backpack (mainly for passport and valuables) Even though the dormitory and showers were clean, When someone takes a shower the whole toilet seat will be wet, which sucks for whoever’s using the toilet after. Front door is always open. Had no issues but would not recommend leaving valuables on your bag under the bed.
Loved the individual curtains for every bed. Creates some privacy. Every bed also counts with a power outlet and night lamp. The hostel is located a bit further from all the bars so it’s a quiet sleep.

The water pressure was extremely low and the beds weren’t very comfy either.
Nice chilled out room with enough space for everyone to move around and do there thing. The facilities were ok but the location definitely made up for it. Not the busiest part of town but still extremely close to all the action and especially the beach.

Bathrooms was a bit unclean and the outdoor was not locked at night, felt a bit unsafe because of that
Good value for money. Snacks provided. Good location. I got early check in because i needed to put my staff to locker before day trip, which was nice!

Sort of just a room on the side of the street (albeit a quiet street) - door doesn’t look automatically so hypothetically anyone could walk in so doesn’t feel the safest
Fine for one night! Free biscuits / tea / coffee. Good location next to the beach and walking distance from shops / bars but no noise disturbance

Staff didn't have the best English. ... no problem Beds are firm not soft, I manage 3 days tho . Not a lot going on , size limits socially. ..

there was no bar, no pub crawls, no shared area other than some seats along the front. i didn't interact with the staff as they seemed like they had no intention of anything other than sitting you your bed.
the location is close to the beach, maybe a five minute walk.
