Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaReception and restaurant are on one side of the complex rather than in the middle. We got a room at the opposite side and had to hike literally about 6 mins to go back to reception. They have so many rooms that the cleaning is not thorough.
Location is peaceful and beach front. Nice breakfast, the swimming pool is great.

United Arab EmiratesI was so surised by how fantastic this resort is. Being so close to the airport but no noise. A traditional style hotel that had beautiful garden and pool area. We didn’t even get to all the pools there is so many! The family room was perfect!

RussiaThe territory is very mysterious and strange. There are three abandoned buildings in front of our room, they are really scaring. There are no shops close to the hotel, you need to walk about 30 minutes or take a tuk-tuk to go the 7/11 shop, but there are some cozy local restaurants nearby.
The hotel, the room, the territory, the pool - everything is huge. The breakfast was great. The staff is awesome, very friendly and helpful. We were going to islands several days before check-in in this hotel and we asked for luggage box for our suitcases and got it for free! The hotel provides free bicycles to make the 7/11 and airplane viewpoint closer :))

EstoniaWe booked a pool access room, what wasn't really worth it—our balcony didn't get any sun, and since we were sick, we couldn’t even enjoy the convenience of swimming directly from our room to the main pool area.
The hotel grounds are incredibly vast—bigger than any I’ve stayed at in Thailand before. The pools are beautiful, the rooms are spacious, and the interior design is really cozy and well-thought-out. The location is right by the beach, which is actually the airport beach, meaning most hotels here are beachfront and come with a higher price tag. However, since we were planning to visit this beach anyway, we decided to stay here before our departure, making the most of the location.

United KingdomAwful monstrosity of some old hotels right next door which some guests would have had to look at from their rooms. Shane that turtles don't come up to lay eggs anymore.

United KingdomThe bed was a bit firm. Sometimes the towels were taken and not replaced! One of my two cups had a big crack. So when I made a tea. All the boiling water leaked out. Some areas are a bit dated. There was no plant milk available for breakfast.
The hotel is large and my room was huge, well furnished with a balcony. It over looked the lovely nature to the rear of the hotel. It also had a Juliet balcony, large bathroom with big a shower and big bath. The air con was good and the hotel was quiet. Water, a kettle, tea and coffee is provided. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pool areas are huge. I could swim non stop for as long as I liked. There are many beds to sunbathe on. The buffet breakfast is plentiful. I love watermelon and it was always available. It’s a very short walk (30 seconds) from the lovely beach. The area is not touristy. It’s very peaceful. They have free bikes. I broke my sunglasses. So I cycled to the main road to get some more. There are restaurants nearby for evening meals. The hotel has a good menu too. Reasonably priced. I loved it here.

GermanyThe place is fairly big, so depending on your room, you may be quite a distance from the lobby/restaurants that you'll have to walk (you can request a lift, though, I think). One downside could be the relative distance from a market, but there are some restaurant and snack options nearby. You can also get into a village with Lotus's and 7-Elevens easily by bicycle or motorcycle with sidecar (or whatever mode if transport you prefer).
First off, Maikhao Palm Beach Resort and Spa is great if you want a place to rest - and it works with your family too. They have family rooms, a huge area of swimming facilities including a children's pool, some small slides, sun chairs, and a pool bar. There is a building with a gym, table tennis table, spa, and children's play area ("kids zone" or something), which is great for indoor play when it is hot outside. Breakfast is excellent, with a variety of warm dishes, fresh egg station, breads and pastries, fruit and vegetables, cereals, teas and coffees, cold drinks (juices, etc.) and more. Please don't steal food from the breakfast buffet - that is dishonest, illegal, poor. There are rooms with sea view, rooms with forest view, probably all have a balcony. Some rooms have their own pool access (direct access to the large general use pool from their rooms, with a more private "landing" behind a hedge). Rooms come with AC, and a mini fridge too, which is nice if you want to cool some drinks or whatever. The beach is right across a small road from the hotel. Here, you'll get lots of smallish waves and views of fishing boats, as well as easy and comfortable access to the "viewing point" for airplanes at the Phuket airport (it is only a short walk from the hotel). Nearby: Just beside the hotel, you can find a stall selling fresh fruit and smoothies - they are great! On the other side of the hotel, on the same road, there is a restaurant called Yum yum on the beach. Food here is great and the staff is friendly. A little further down the road towards the airport, there are some more restaurants with food, and right down by the runway viewing area, you'll find motorcycle vendors with their snacks and souvenirs too. Final point: the staff at this resort are very friendly and helpful. Remember, they are Thai, they have a different culture and different sensibilities, and they overlook SO many faux pas from their guests.

GermanyNo direct supermarket or free shuttle to the markets… way to walk is around 20-25 minutes. In the evening the way is very dark… not so cool to walk it. Very very long way to walk outside or to breakfast/reception if you are in the last building of the Hotel.

IsraelToo many signs with threatening notes about fines, this doesn’t make you feel comfortable. The common areas could be cleaner. The staff is never smiling at you, and are not very responsive. No babysitting service although it clearly says in the room guide that they do have and you need to ask in advance. The kids play room has too many broken toys.
The room is spacious, good prices at the restaurant

A lovely hotel, in a remote location. It can be suitable for those looking for a quieter place. For children there are pools, small slides. The hotel is clean with kind staff, a good breakfast, I think everyone can find something to eat there. Dinner doesn't look fancy, we didn't try.
