SingaporeIt didn't much like the taxi/drivers that had been serving MH, they are the kind that can give negative image to the hotel. I did brought up this to MH and I've also solved this problem myself by booking outside transport services.
I truly like MH n been staying here every times me n wife. This current stay, I noticed quite a number of staffs turnover n I felt good as this signified changes n improvements.

SingaporeEvery aspect with the hotel was exceptional. Hotel was really clean, room was a pleasure to get back to after a day of sightseeing or shopping. View from room was worth paying, although keep in mind we got the view after free upgrade by the hotel to executive room, since premier paid upgrade offered by booking.com was essentially 'no view'. For sure we will book executive room next time, since it is definitely worth it. Staff was, again, exceptional. We have her to thank for the wonderful stay in this hotel, especially for the room. She surprised us pleasantly when we got back from our dinner cruise to find a pair of towel Swans and flowers on the bed. Just because of my husband's joke that we were on honeymoon. What a wonderful way to wrap up a wonderful day! Location is just opposite of MitrTown shopping center and MRT Line. Elephant Hop-On tour bus stopped outside for 1 minute to pick up or drop off. Even in after office hour traffic, it took only about half an hour to reach IconSiam for our ChaoPhraya dinner cruise.

NetherlandsWhen I asked the concierge if he had a day pass for the public transport, he said "yes, that is 2000 baht". Having used the public transport before and knowing a ticket for the metro/sky train/bus is between 15-30 baht, 2000 seemed a little much. I declined the offer, then suddenly he offered it for 1500 baht. Since it was clearly a ripoff I went to the ticket office at the metro station, where they said they don't even issue day tickets. He also just tried to get you in taxis to tourist places for unfair prices, so I would recommend to avoid him and the offers. Definitely not worthy of such a hotel.
Nice hotel with comfy rooms and good breakfast.

Haven't met a reliable n honest driver, most of them were always trying to scam you n we got the taxis thru the Mandarin hotel staffs, hence there's no doubt the hotel staffs were working hands in hands with the taxi drivers. I'd commented about this times after times but there's no action taken, so I switch to MRT n BTS. By the way, this taxi problem is Nation wide, Bangkok, Changmai etc.
MH is super clean, bright lightings n nice location.
