Showers werent clean at all

Sorry but this was one of the worst hostel experiences. the people in the dorm were unfortunately ridiculously inconsiderate, loudly talking in the night and turning on lights to wake the whole room up at 6-7am ... had 2 sleepless nights. This isn't the hostels fault though, and they did have signs up saying be quiet at night - but the people there ignored them it seems. I left at 8:30am exhausted to go to a new hostel. Rooms basic and very hot, bunks are like kids bed and no privacy at all on top bunks. I woke up to a guy looking at me. No one talks to you, when I said hello to some people they ignored me, cleaky atmosphere and alot of people smoking weed (no problem with weed but it added to a proper antisocial vibe) Cheap price - you get what you pay for. River view was a nice spot though and staff (the lady) was nice, and kindly waited up til midnight to check me in.

Bathroom cleanliness was not great at times, for me it wasn’t that bad, again considering the price, but if you are a picky backpacker take this into consideration. Location was a bit far from old town but we walked quite often or took a grab, easy walk to night bazaar

The price/value for the private AC room is unmatched. We slept very comfortably. Cute hostel animals and friendly staff. I would stay here again if we come back to Chiang Mai

There was no water in the hostel during most of my stay. Not in the shower, not in the toilets, not in the sinks. There was no information about that and I had to realise when I was already in the shower. I had to brush my teeth with bottled water and go to sleep sweaty. When the water was back in the morning people smoke in the shower and it stank. Gross! Pretty rub down, a lot of street noise, not enough sockets. I'd say the only place worth staying is the beds outside, not the rooms. Staff wasn't very helpful.

Cramped dorm rooms. Felt unclean - dorms, bathrooms, storage room. Outside area and dorms had loads of insects which led to me getting lots of insect bites. Kitchen facilities including fridge were grim.

It was kind of far from everything. Definitely do not stay in a dorm if you’re a solo traveller. I didn’t feel comfortable, no young people almost only older men. Couldn’t use toilet downstairs because there was no water. It was very cheap and you just get what you pay for. A bed and a place to take a shower. That’s it

I love the location of this hostel, directly on the river so you don’t even feel like you’re in the city! The staff are very lovely and there are some cool hangout spots :)

Depressing, awful. I had a booking for 5 nights and stayed just the first (without even sleeping) In the room there is no space at all for luggages. There were 3 bunk beds. Mine was the top bed at the end and if I left my luggage on the floor I’d literately block the way out of bed to the person at the bottom. No locker no nothing. Not even space to reach the socket that was hanging between the beds since they are so close. Of course not a light next to the bed. The location is good and the outdoor close to the river is nice but at night there was almost no lightning so kinda creepy. The bed doesn’t have a mattress it is literally a board. The linen old, brown, and they give you a blanket (but those like wool, and since you don’t have a sheet to cover you it feels disgusting) The bathroom, next to the “common space” didn’t have a door so you had to brush your teeth and everything with people around It was an awful sad place.

The outdoor was nice (that’s pretty much why I booked it), but I arrived at night and left the morning after…

Outside the hostel, there is some restaurants but not many street foods and night markets.

You could stay outside in the huts to enjoy the windy and sunshine and you could also spend your whole night sleeping in a tent with net next to the ping river. It provides a good vibe and I love the green view there. And there is a dog and two cats stuff there.

Our bedroom in general was comfortable but it had a dead cockroach under our bed. The bathroom also had a cockroach walking on the toilet. It could be cleaner.

The host and the view were nice. We could see the river and the other side of the town. It was peaceful.

It’s a difficult place for the staff to keep clean (even though cleaning seems to be every couple of days) because most of the property is outdoors. And unfortunately other guests don’t always clean up after themselves perfectly in the showers. It would be nice if the bungalow curtains are replaced as perhaps they are a bit too old. However I feel bad even saying these things considering the accommodation fee is so low!

A true backpackers’ hostel. Really lovely vibes, I only met nice fellow travellers here. All the staff are so nice and warm, one woman offered to hang up my washing so I could go enjoy my plans for the day! The dog is so sweet (and doesn’t bark) and the 2 cats laze around. I loved the experience of being in the outdoor bungalows. What this hostel manages to achieve for the low fee it charges is quite special.

The staff and the people there was very nice and calm. The space it's quiet and beautiful, and the beds confortable (very useful the mosquito net). Also, it's very clean, and you have water, coffee, and washing machines inside. Very recomendable!!
