Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThere isn’t really anywhere to sit if you’re not in the room. There are two chairs on the balcony but if people are already there then you can only sit in your room. The bathroom is always clean but it’s extremely small. So something to be mindful of if you’re a bigger person.
It’s a good location very close to the port and a short walk away from the main walking area of the island. The rooms are well maintained and the ac works well. They also have a lovely kitten that is super friendly and makes the stay enjoyable.

ThailandIt was walkable to Sa Kew tho if you are not a fan of walking, might be too long walk for you. Spaces were too small specially for 4 people. You have to give way to other people so they could stand on the alley between the beds.
I like how the staff were friendly and comforting. I was crying because I was dealing with a heartbreak and the staff comforted me and asked me if I was okay. She also made sure to keep everything clean. The guys staff was also helpful. He carried my baggage. I like that I can do laundry everyday.

SwedenIt's close to locals, and nature, so noise can be an issue. During our stay we had wild dogs outside barking for a solid two hours one night, and someone with a grinder started working at 7 outside. Although it's nicely decorated with care, it is starting to get a bit worn down and could use a bit of new paint. Warning, there is a gap between the bed and the wall, perfect for stuff to fall down, but not big enough for your hand. The rest of the bed is welded on to the wall so if you drop something behind there, it's lost forever... Ask me how I know... Beds are "firm" if not to say rock hard, but If you like that, this is your best option.
Cosy little place with only 8 beds in total! A nice balcony to hang out on (bring bug spray) and really cosy rooms with en suite bathroom and shower. A bit cramped and rough but clean and nice. It's a real chill vibe, and the lady who owns it is super sweet, helpful and accommodating! She cleans the room everyday and makes your bed, learns your name and asks you how you are doing. A real host! It's about a 8 min walk to the closest beach, 5 minutes to the closest 7/11 and lots of stuff in between. Close to locals which gives a nice perspective on locals day to day life.

HungaryThe room was very small and I felt like as if I was in a sardines can. There were four beds in a room but hardly any place for anything, so the luggages were kept outside. The toilet and the shower was ridiculously small. One can use the toilet from the side because there is not much space. The shower area is less than a square meter. I am a 50kg woman who stayed in many hostelt, but this one felt like I was in a sardines can, not a good feeling. The toilet and shower is just not proper to offer such services. Unfortunately, there is no room to extend them either. The value for money is still good. I spent two nights in this place and I would only recommend this place if you stay for short term (1-2 nights) and you plan to be away and only use this place for sleeping and that awkward shower.
The location is great, the island is not big, but this hostel is close to the central location, easily accessible from the pier on foot. The bed was comfortable and the personnel was nice and helpful.

ChinaThe hostel is a little mini but cute, the hostess has a cat named Bunkie, I like it very much. The only thing I want to mention is the balcony area, there are lots of ants and sometimes used cups left by other guests, need pay more attention to it. Others are fine.

I loved getting up in the morning having the complimentary coffee on the balcony. A fridge was provided so I could keep my breakfast there too. The room was small which meant the AC instantly cooled down the room and I slept like a baby. Everything is so clean and the hosts are very friendly. Each bed has a curtain, socket, light and we were given a key for our own locker. I liked being within walking distance of the village, pier and beaches
