Perfect place for a relaxing long weekend. Comfortable hotel, good for family outing. Nice little farm, good swimming pool, good breakfast and activities for Songkran. Only one small thing to improve: shower pressure and temperature stability

Too many birds on the balcony. Some bird poop made it not so nice sit on the balcony.

If you don't have a car, there is nothing within walking distance. This was fine for us since we just wanted to stay at the resort and relax. I was a little disappointed with our room for the price of the hotel. Our "balcony" was just an enclosed fire escape. If you've stayed in historic buildings, don't expect this to be like that. It is clear that the hotel is made to feel like a "castle" but that it is not a historical building.

The Movenpick grounds are stunning! It is truly a beautiful drive up onto the property and the vast landscaping is really appealing. We liked the layout of the hotel and the pool area was beautiful. My husband and I enjoyed the chocolate hour in which guests are invited to the lobby for complimentary chocolate samplings. We also really enjoyed some delicious food at the hotel restaurants including the great breakfast selection! Lastly, we enjoyed walking around the hotel grounds. There is beautiful landscaping with lovely gardens, the petting zoo, and fresh air. This all made for a very relaxing stay.

Dinner was ok but was served at all different times so we didn’t get to eat together. Dinner was slightly under whelming.

Buggy rides are needed to get to villas but sometimes, buggys take a long time to come.

while the environment was lovely, our experience was disappointing. Despite booking an Executive Deluxe room, we were given a standard Deluxe room, and our concerns were overlooked. We also hired a photographer, but were charged 5000 baht for just two hours of limited access, despite the website listing lower prices. This rushed experience, along with misleading billing, added to our frustration. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Movenpick Khao Yai due to the inconsistent treatment we received compared to other guests.

The view was beautiful but the room made it not worth it. The room was out of shampoo and body lotion and the balcony light was broken. Although the staff were very nice, the golf car were slow to come and there was always a long wait when you needed them. Hopefully the hotel can improve.

The staff was very unpleasant and not so helpful. Parking was far and no buggy from parking. The bed was too soft we end up having body aches.

The hotel itself is quite far from any other ancillaries you may need.

The hotel is amazingly beautiful. The rooms are huge. Fantastic for families. The breakfast selection is large and cooked really well.

The hotel is a little out of the way. When we drove in the evening, some of the roads were not lit. But just a minor inconvenience for the experience of living in a ‘castle’.

Loved the big spacious suite and balcony space. The surrounding lawns offered a lot of space for children to explore and run around at. Kids loved the swimming pool, swings etc. There is also a section with animals. Loved the scenic and serene morning view of the mountains and the castle-like interior.

Shower head was broken and the smaller one was too low to stand under, was a number of menu items not available which they didn’t point out until you tried to order them ..

There was a reception name Renny, put us in the wrong room that wasn’t what we were booking, and not very professional, the way she handling things was not very helpful either, otherwise everything else was so great.

Quality of breakfast. Every dish was cold. Orange juice tasted synthetic. Even most basic rice porridge and condiments were very sad. Too many houseflies.

Nicely manicured gardens , playful metal sculptures throughout the hotel are most impressive. Love the space, landscape and peaceful environment.
