Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaShower wasn’t great - I feel the shower head needs to be replaced as it would spray everywhere and not have enough pressure. My drain didn’t drain well, it would hold the water and it would slowly dissipate after 20 minutes. With the high and cold, you couldn’t get a nice in between feel with the water, it was either scalding hot - icy cold. Bed was rock hard - due to sleeping on my side and absolutely no movement within the mattress. Housekeeping was all over the place - late in the afternoon around 3-4pm and then it was around 12-1pm. There weren’t enough sunbeds at certain times, especially if there was decent weather. Wifi was horrible, it wasn’t fast at all and would drop out constantly. I would say if you are on the ground floor, choose a room further away from the music, considering I am in bed early. It was quite loud during the hall way of the rooms as I heard more than my fair share of screaming from children and conversations during the night. I asked the front desk for a later check out, but no luck as they have already booked someone else in and the room needed to be deep cleaned, which was frustrating for myself as I had a later flight. Check out took over 20 minutes to be sorted, as there were many people waiting in the lobby and not understanding that check in time is 2pm. They had to check with housekeeping if I took anything or ate anything, after a couple of phone calls and walked away from, I was good to go.
The staff were wonderful and friendly, quite accommodating to myself. Laundry service was completed within a couple of hours of when I dropped it off- I chose not to get my clothes iron which is about 180 baht compared to just wash 100 baht. The pool area was clean daily and constantly looked after, the sun beds were dried off by staff, if it was raining. Happy Hour was offering buy 1 get 1 free option. It is quite close to the heart of Patong Beach which is about a 10 minute walking distance. It has ‘Jungceylon’ mall along with a lot of other shops around. Bangla road is a 10 minute walk if you are into the nightlife. Breakfast included, was okay. It has options for hot and cold different kind of foods which included continental and variety of food such as chicken sausages, pad see ew, roasted tomato and mushrooms, roasted garlic potatoes, baked beans, oatmeal, fried rice and of course your options of limited types of fruits and yoghurt. Restaurant food - was quite good and had a variety of options. Check out time was 12pm which is great but if you want to get a later check out, you have to ask 1 day before. I would recommend getting a room on the ground floor, as it was nice to just walk out to the pool area makes it easy access and getting on the sunny side was a bonus.

South AfricaDeposit that needed to be paid upon arrival was not clearly communicated. This made check in very awkward.
Pool area and rooms were comfortable. At the time we were there the hotel was not too full so there were enough beds at the pool. Should it be during peak season I'm sure it will be a problem.

United KingdomThe staff weren’t very nice, they never greeted us they ignored us for a bit and they seemed to be quite short with us, didn’t see a smile once in the 3 days we stayed! Not very often do you come across unfriendly Thai people especially in hotels but these staff were quite rude
The pool was lovely and the rooms were very spacious and clean. The location was fab! 10 minute walk from the beach

AustraliaWe had a bit of trouble booking in as they couldn’t find our prepaid booking. The language barrier was frustrating after a long trip. My friend was the one who spotted the paperwork on a pile on the checkin desk. Once we were finally in the staff couldn’t be nicer. Just a bit challenging to begin with.
The pool area was lovely. The rooms clean and comfortable.

CanadaThere is an exhaust pipe right beside the balcony of our room. every morning around 5:15am, it starts to make a loud noise. I only spent 2 nights there, both mornings I was waken up by the loud noise from the pipe. Since I had one more night to go when I noticed it, I didn’t bother to ask to change. but I think unless all the family rooms are full, this room shouldn’t be assigned to any guests, as not just the noise, but also the exhaust air from the kitchen, which makes the balcony inaccessible.
nice location, spacious room. nice staff. breakfast has a good variety.

IsraelUnfortunately the experience was spoiled at checkout when we were charged for two face cloths that supposedly disappeared from the room sometime during our stay. Every attempt to persuade the receptionist that we would have no need to steal two well worn face cloths was to no avail.
Hotel was good and staff were helpful and friendly. Mosquitoes weren't too much of a problem.

United KingdomCheck the mini bar on a daily basis. We took 3 drinks from the mini bar which we then paid for at reception the next day (with receipt). However, the fridge was not restocked and so on checking out we were charged again as they said we had drank 3 drinks AGAIN after paying. We didn't! Despite explaining the mini bar had never been restocked they were very uninterested and just wanted our money. They also didn't restock coffee and sugar on a daily basis which they say they do. A little bit of a disappointment after what was otherwise a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel it is perfect in all areas apart from the mini bar situation.
The hotel is beautiful and very clean. Staff are all friendly and welcoming. Pool area is fantastic and very clean. Rooms are lovely, small but just what is needed. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the beach and some lovely bars/restaurants.

AustraliaBed was a bit hard and also pillows not the best. However we bought two excellent pillows for $6 at the department store about 600m away. Had a great stay but six days in Patong was enough for us, moved to Bangtao which was far more to our liking
We stayed in a pool access room which was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to everywhere if you don't mind the heat / humidity, but in a quiet location for noise.
