It was the most nosiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in the water pipes were forever rumbling the air conditioning was (I think) on it’s way out as it was so noisy I had to turn it off which defeats the purpose on top of that every 20-30 minutes some sort of anoucement was being made all and all the stay was not a pleasant one

Ants everywhere in the room! They were crawling all over my stuff in the desk and bed stand area. Sometimes i found ants in the bed too. No windows in the rooms so you're always in the open air (not great with air pollution and noise!)

Good price. Friendly and helpful staff, daily water bottles. Good shower. There is a free breakfast fruit and coffee downstairs.

The beds are extremely hard. The room that we were given had birds in the roof. The walls are paper thin, we decided to leave a couple of hours after check in to move to a different hotel.

Some of the sockets didn't grip a standard 2-pin plug (which is a recurring issue in the inexpensive or older hotels I've been using.) The fixtures and fittings were a bit elderly in general in fact (but that's just an observation and really not a complaint at the modest room price charged.)

Everything! I have to admit that I was very lucky in receiving an unexpected room upgrade (to a kind of suite) which obviously enhanced my experience.. But things that I liked about the hotel that would apply more generally were the courteous and kind owner/manager who obviously cared; the good free parking (either within hotel structure or easy street parking opposite the hotel); a wonderfully comfortable bed with a genuinely padded mattress; very nice smooth bed linen; a decent pillow; the immaculate cleanliness throughout; the drinking water and basic toiletries provided; the complementary tea and coffee offered (till 10am) each morning. It was 16 mins walk to the night bazaar for a very wide choice of excellent value food, an occasionally surreal live music show and hours of happy people-watching; 1 minute walk to closest coffee/breakfast option (the rather 'modern' kyoto cafe; good coffee though.)

I didn't like the room. The bed was hard and only had one pillow each. This aggravated a sore neck and shoulders I'm currently experiencing and the night was certainly uncomfortable for the 3 nights my Partner and I spent there.. The bed was placed in a space that felt a little claustaphrobic, and not much room on the left hand side of the bed. The bathroom, although a reasonable size, only had a shower in the bath. To make matters worse, it was very low down, and although was flexible, it was awkward to shower properly, and only just stretched to my height. If that wasn't enough, the water kept on going hot and cold so had to stand back and wait till the water warmed up again. Only a tiny bar of soap was supplied and no shampoo. Also there was no exhaust fan to prevent fogging up the mirror. There were no English speaking channels on the TV The sight from the window was nothing to write home about. Overall, I expected a lot better from the Hotel.

I thought the ground floor rooms were spacious and looked homely. There was a little breakfast available, but nothing special ... Mainly cornflakes, bananas, biscuits, cakes, and an assortment of beverage options etc. All bowls, cups and spoons were disposable ones.

Couldn’t recommend this place more! we’re backpacking and arrived in chiang mai after a 14 hour coach exhausted. our room was spotless, very spacious, and had everything we needed: fridge, toiletries, AC, clean towels, water. the rooms are really clean and the beds are SO comfortable, felt like a safe haven after the last few places we’ve stayed at. definitely worth the money and i’d 100% recommend for anyone looking for a clean, comfy space to just chill for a few days. the hotel itself is pretty cool, located down a very beautiful street with nice greenery, it’s like a 10 / 15 minute walk into the town area but it’s a nice walk, would recommend!

I thought we had a balcony but it was just some weird space with a sink and bars covering the view. This was the only window so I felt like I was in jail. The water got turned off each morning. I am not sure why it was never communicated with me.

The hotel had a nice sitting room for coffee. It was near a place to do laundry. It was clean and the staff was friendly.

Lukewarm shower. Wifi didn’t work in the room and staff just shrugged, “some rooms it doesn’t work.” Staff didn’t really speak English. Where WiFi worked, lots of mosquitos.

It was clean and had a comfortable bed. Easy to park a scooter or car. Free breakfast (very simple, like cornflakes).
