It was different from other 5 star hotels Ive been in different places. Overall I enjoyed with my trip but I want to capture couple of things: 1. The staff was very polite and helpful 2. I enjoyed with the hotels design and it was very comfortable 3. The breakfast was not as good as I expected from 5 star hotel. 4. Ive booked for half boarded and dinner was with coupons and the menu was different as compared with regular without coupons)))

Very nice place for relaxation, location is a bit far from Phuket… beach is nice… the only negatives is due to the beauty of the nature there were a lot of lizards and insects… not recommended for Muslim families as they offer Pork… we had to always eat outside the resort..

Nothing not to like.

Beautiful hotel right on the beach front, lovely big pool and gorgeous gardens, lots of staff who always greet you with a smile and are happy to help. Location is a little out of the way but taxis are available and cheap, so only a small journey to town. Lovely calm destination for a relaxing break.

Returning guests and another wonderful stay !! My husband and I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions (former Manathai) and were so happy to return and to be greeted by a few friendly familiar faces, especially Wap who never fails to make our stay a special one. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained and the room service superb – a special thank you to Tao who serviced our room to perfection. The hospitality is extraordinary – all the guests are made to feel welcome and valued. The location is perfect, away from the hustle and bustle of the town. The beach is idyllic and uncrowded - the perfect place to relax.

Unfortunately my room had some issues from old age. However, Staff were easy to reach and responded immediately- issues were quite well handed.

Excellent staff service. They were always helping and trying to assist my requests. I was up quite early for morning run anf wanted to use gym but staff kindly let me in and used the gym before opening hour. Also, staff always helped cleaning and tidy room perfectly. Beach and swimming pool were fantastic to relax.

Breakfast is satisfactory but nothing special; it's unoriginal and becomes repetitive after a few days. The staff is very friendly, but as the stay progresses, you sometimes notice a lack of experience among the hotel staff, which isn't up to the standard you'd expect for a hotel in this price range.

The hotel is located in an amazing area. The beach is beautiful and very untouched. The hotel is well designed, especially because it dedicates plenty of space to greenery. The setting is perfect for spending a few days with family and is very kid-friendly. The pool is really enjoyable, surrounded by coconut palms. The gardens are beautifully maintained.

The large number of children at the hotel was not a problem at in itself, but it did feel like as a result we (being an adult couple) were subsidising the guests who had children. The room price we paid was a little expensive (against those groups who were not paying much more to also have children with them), and the restaurant was overpriced - the buffet nights allowed children (under 12) to eat free, whilst all adults had to pay a high price. As a result we only ate once in the restaurant, and the quality then was average. The hotel advertises a number of policies (eg no towels to reserve sunbeds, only one beach towel per person per day, no taking food away from the buffet) but does little to impose them. To be fair to the staff this is partly due to language difficulties or the aggressive nature of some of the guests.

The location was perfect for us being away from any town, as we wanted relaxation. There are a number of reasonably priced beach bars nearby. The beach is wide with fine sand and a gentle gradient into the sea, so swimming was easy. The trees provide very good cover when at the beach. The staff are excellent. Especially Mint (who serviced our room), Baw (who introduced us to the gym) and Pim (on reception who was again helpful and efficient). The staff who were constantly cleaning the toilets near the pool (didn’t get their names) did an excellent job in difficult conditions. The guys on the beach also did a good job rearranging sunbeds. The breakfast is good with a wide choice and well stocked. We used the shuttle to Bang Niang which worked well. Our room was very spacious and the aircon worked well. Unlike a number of other hotels we had visited we were able to unpacked and store all our luggage in the cupboards etc.

There is a service charge across all outlets, they also have a tipping amount on all food and beverage bills. Personally I don't like this policy of service / tipping twice

- Location. beach is absolutely stunning Small beautiful resort- short walk to everything within resort and short walk to many local beach restaurants outside of the resort. - staff. So kind and attentive at all times - lots of shade between pool and beach with many sun loungers - so peaceful and tranquil - 8am yoga - buffet dinners

We only had a 3 day stay with my sons family, it was perfect for a family break with something for everyone & great location only 15mins drive to the town with lots of bars & restaurants, but was also nice to chill in the evenings at the beach restaurants only a short walk.

The property was beautifully set on the beach. There was a delicious variety of food at breakfast and Chef Tao greeted us everyday. We especially enjoyed the lemongrass butterfly pea tea at the reception.

The restaurant, drinks and massage are very expensive, especially when you have local alternatives about 10m away on the beach. Felt that they could have been more generous with welcome drinks/ gifts for the children.

It is quite isolated, and not the cheapest to get to Khao Lak to find food. We knew this when booking, but it’s the only thing I can think of that we didn’t like.

Breakfast was excellent! We got a room upgrade and it made the trip for us! The bigger room was such a blessing. The staff were super helpful and incredibly kind! The onsite restaurant was quite good. The pizza is actually great!

The hotel describes itself as a 5 star. It’s not. It’s a good 4 star hotel. Service is good but not luxury. Not enough staff at reception or at beach! Bathroom toiletries basic. In a 5 star you would expect a high end brand with environmental values! All toiletries had to be ordered via app. We gave up! Beach towels are old and dirty! Would expect a better product. Sports equipment not enough of it! Detail to attention missing! No life guard !
