Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ArgentinaWe would have liked a bungalow with an ocean view, but we were right at the back, and the view was blocked by the bungalows in front. We also would have liked the hotel to have a restaurant with a good breakfast, but the breakfast offered was very simple and only at the reception, with no separate seating area, so we didn't have it.
The place is heavenly. I hope all the resorts can join forces to improve just the climb from that beach to the path that runs along the sea to the town. The rest of the route was very good, even at night.

United KingdomNo hotel transfer longboat on arrival at pier, had emailed ahead to check what time the hotel operated their transfers.
The location is beautiful right on a gorgeous beach. The bungalow was very spacious too. Breakfast was good value at 150 BHT, you could choose 2 options from the menu, fruit, fruit juice & tea or coffee were also included. Would definitely stay again.

United KingdomA bit tatty in places. Bungalows could do with some renovation. For example: Exteriors need painting / minor repairs Door handle of our bungalow was hanging off (but still worked) Sun beds outside bungalows need repainting Sun bed mats pretty worn and need replacing on some bungalows Shower head holder meant the shower sprayed water vertically across the bathroom so was unusable but the shower itself worked fine. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but this place could be a much improved with some TLC. There are 8 bungalows, all except 2 of which have sea views.
Great location, steps from the beach. Comfy bed, good air con including quiet sleep mode. Staff were great. Free sun beds on the beach. Free canoes. The breakfast suited us. Eggs and pancakes cooked to order, plus fresh fruit, coffee and juice for 150 baht pp. Very tasty and served very quickly by the lovely staff.

United KingdomI think the huts need a bit of a refresh on the outside. They looked more modern and nice inside though. Also, we had taken a later ferry as that was the only one we could take and we were due to arrive after the check in time. The staff had waited for us thankfully but we had tried to call and WhatsApp to let them know and heard nothing back. It was slightly stressful as you then need to get a boat in the dark and we weren’t even sure if anyone would be there or not. Overall, my advice is to follow the check in times to avoid the stress.
The hotel is in a beautiful location. It is a bit more secluded from the rest of the island which is nice and the beach is beautiful. The huts/houses are close to the beach and it’s great to wake up and take a stroll on the beach. The boat to the main town isn’t too expensive.

United KingdomIf you want to be in the thick of it ie Tonsei, may not be for you.
Lovely beach location, room very basic but clean and a big bed. Staff fantastic. Went on a long boat trip for 1800 bht for 2 and only the 2 of us on the boat. You can walk into town but there is a steep incline where you need a rope to help navigate this area of this short path or you can get a long boat taxi which is 100 bht per person each way. View from the beach is fantastic and there is a restaurant next door which overlooks the sea and the prices are very cheap.

KazakhstanBathroom is not comfortable - water all over the floor, I found an insect in my bag that I left in a bathroom. Bed is a bit too hard for me but the linen was spotless. Was hard to communicate with property employees since very few of them know English.
Best location right on a gorgeous beach - it is 30 mins walk from the city (not an easy walk and do not walk at night) or 400 bht a boat ride to the city. You may eat in a nice restaurant near the hotel, you can make massage near the hotel. room is very simple (clean) but the price is not high, so I expected that.

AustraliaI would not recommend staying here if you have mobility issues and struggle to walk up hills or get in and out of boats. It can be a little noisy with the engines of the boats but this stops around 10pm so it didn’t affect our sleep.
We loved our stay at PP. We loved being away from the busy area and in a more relaxed part of the island. Getting to the main area was fairly easy - a 20 minute walk through the jungle or a 100tbh boat (200bht at night). The staff were really nice and we enjoyed our breakfast each morning. Good value for money for Phi Phi island!

SpainStaff did not talk english very well, and were not really professional. Poor breackfast. Rooms are big, but a bit old, need a good renovation. To reach the hotel i had to climb up and down a big hill with my elder mum to reach hotel from nearest accesible beach in August during rainy season. Need to take and pay boats to go everytime to main village. A bit pricey considering all this.
Excellent views to the sea from the beach front rooms. Internet worked well. Hotel is well located in a beautiful beach. Great place to relax. Good internet connection.

Long beach is a great place to stay - free use of kayaks to head out to Shark Point. Huge corals and plenty of fish, saw 2 black tip reef sharks. Free breakfast was a nice surprise. Bungalows were okay. Free transfer back to Ton Sai. The cats were friendly.

Australiashower pressure was poor and the bed wasn’t the best. The room sucked all the moisture from me. I sadly didn’t have the best sleeps here
Amazing location with free kayaks, snorkels, sun chairs. Yummyyy breakfast Kind staff Honestly once you go to the other side of the island, you’ll be so grateful of where you are staying ! It’s quiet and it’s so much more stunning ! You can pay for boat or walk to the main side of the island. The walk is actually lovely. I really enjoyed walking. You could even just stay on that side of island. There’s a nice restaurant next door and a mini mart
