Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandOnly 2 towels, and you need to use for everything. Asked 2 more, but we were declined with our request. Room was next to reception, ground floor: in the morning, staff and clients were very loud and waking up us (walls and doors very thin). During the night, several clients laughing and screaming did not let us sleep properly (this is not hotel’s fault). Overall, it is an hotel with hostel standards.
Central location, far from noise area. Clean enough.

United KingdomThe property was clean but it could do with a little updating, as our room looked a little worn down in some areas, and there was a pipe into the shower that was just dripping from the ceiling cold water. No view out the window, just to a dirty sideway and graffiti screen from the back of another property. As it’s a party island, you can hear literally everyone coming in from all hours of the night.
Property was in a very good location, pretty much central to everything and a 5 minute walk if that to the seafront. Reception staff were very kind and informative. It’s really just a place to lay your head, as Phi Phi is basically Magaluf/Ibiza for Thailand and we did not realise this, it really is a party island, so wasn’t quite for us, but of all the accommodation we seen, this was the nicest of all other options which seemed to be mainly hostels.

United KingdomBathroom was extremely tired, needs a revamp. Smell of sewage in the room on arrival and in the immediate area out side the hotel. Air con seemed to get rid of it in the room after running it for the whole day.
Great location, comfy bed and friendly check in staff. Walkable from the pier, even with suitcases. Close to the viewpoint trails. Facilities available in reception if needed (microwave, kettle, snacks) Ideal for a short budget stay of 1 or 2 nights.

AustriaRoom smells - there is an ugly river close to the hotel, we think it comes from there. The air condition condense water is just led into the bathroom on the floor and makes it wet, a bit irritating as the rest of the room was well designed. Cucarachas in the lobby (not in the room fortunately)
Nice, recently renovated rooms with comfortable beds, quiet to sleep. Air condition works well. Its 5min walk from the centre and close to the viewpoint. Its a good choice for 1-2 nights.

United KingdomNot much. Only thing would be that the shower leaks into the bathroom and would prefer a kettle in the room rather than shared areas.
The rooms were great, bed comfortable and location central but outside of the noisy area. The receptionist Champoo made our stay even more special. Really looked after us. The boat trip booked through the hotel was fantastic. Slightly more expensive than booking on the beach for a private trip, but well worth it , the boat captain knew the best spots and helped us take some great pictures and videos !

United KingdomThe layout of the property means some rooms are literally in reception. This means you get noise in the mornings once reception opens plus potential noise from people entering the hotel late at night. I was also right next to the street so extra street noise as well but with good earplugs it was ok
Clean, room was well equipped (safe, tv, fridge, powerful AC). Bed quite comfy with extra pillows Location not noisy aside from some street noise which is Phi phi island in general Banana toiletries smell lovely

The location is good very close to all the centre but away from the noise

SwedenEverything looks really good in the common areas. But in the room, it was mould in the ceiling. The bathroom needs to be fixed. It has been painted with white paint that is coming off. The faucet was loose. There is no divider on the floor between the shower and the rest of the bathroom so water is all over the floor after shower. The walls a paper thin so you hear your neighbors very well. I think that the hotel tried to spread everyone out, or our neighbors where really quiet. I only heard one girl puke. I think it’s a bit overpriced.
The location of the hotel was really good. Close to the all various restaurants and parties. But still on a road away from everything. Big and spacious and the staff was really friendly. You could rent beach towel for 50 bath. They had free water, coffee, tea and biscuits in the lobby. The shower gel, soup, schampo and conditioner smelled like banana. Liked it!

RomaniaAC very old making strange noise, at some point started to throw pieces of ice and this ice was dirty (black) leaving stains on the bed sheets. The rooms have very thin doors, you can hear everything outside. At some point during the Christmas day around 2:00 PM they started some construction works in upper floors without any pre-notice. Very loud noise, could not rest at all. Had to go to the Reception and ask what is happening and if they could stop this noise. They said yes, but they kept on going. They did the same in the following days but at least they informed us in advance. Also a lot of noise from the other tourists during the afternoon, their kids slamming doors 10-15 times in 30 minutes. Very annoying to stay in a hotel where the staff does not enforce some policies about the noise for the guests. Even though we stayed up late until 3-4 AM at beach parties, we never came back to the room making noise or shouting. It's is all about respect.
Good location, in a quiet area. The room was big and had safe and refrigerator.

ThailandThere is only one key card and does not allow us to separate. We asked for extra key card and staff was able to manage it. The first bottle of water, guest has to fill up by ourselves. This was not warm welcome. We can understand if the 2nd bottle of drinking water need to fill up by ourselves for earth saving or what so ever. The checked in staff did not explain us of using key card to scan to enter into hotel during night time. Luckily, we can staff and she was responding. The decorative pillow was not so clean. We saw the white mark on it.
The toilet is running down.
