Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

the local village is so authentic and the beach incredible. The resort is very simple, without the restaurant but is very easy to have breakfast in the morning nearby. If you like Thailand you like also this kind of simple accommodation

United KingdomThe staff were fantastic, super friendly and always happy to help. Incredible value for money. The location was really nice as it is away from the main town of Phi Phi so it was a really quiet village with lovely little restaurants and shops. Walkable to both beaches either side (less than 10 mins). The free shuttle from Ton Sai Pier was great.

AustraliaThe location of the closest beach being private/unable to attend (Part of Saii village) was a bit of a bummer, but luckily the area plenty of longtails from the region to other beaches and you’re very close to bamboo island and the staff helped us get around well.
The staff there were great and really ensured we had a good experience and gave us guidance to what activities to do from the location. It was a great time

GreeceThe rooms are fairly old construction and it’s clear no effort is being put in maintaining them. First, the floor is made of wood panels which because of the years, the glue binding them has come apart. In the morning I could see light coming from outside, which means microbugs can enter the room freely. On the bathroom, the door handle from the inside of the bathroom was missing so we couldn’t close the door (you can imagine the pleasant sounds a man does after some good quality spicy Thai food). Lastly, the walls in the shower near the drain had moved back which created an opening for roaches, which we found 3 babies when we moved in and one large one on our 2nd day.
I liked the helpful staff. English is an issue in Thailand, but the manager was doing everything to help which we appreciated a lot!

MalaysiaWe did not research enough into the accessibility of the location to other parts of the island. We assumed we could rent bikes and travel across the island, but the geographics were very hilly and the only way in and out of the location was via long boats - and the price of these longboats was often around 2500tb for a return trip to Tonsai Bay from Loh Lana Bay as there was no other option available!
Just a short walk from the Loh Ba Koh Bay beach, this hotel is perfectly situated for anyone looking to enjoy the sun, sand, and sea. The complimentary longboat pick-up from the ferry was a fantastic start to my trip, and we were also met with a motorbike with a sidecar to the resort. The room I stayed in featured a lovely balcony that allowed for a refreshing breeze throughout the day. It was the ideal spot to enjoy a morning coffee or unwind in the evening while soaking up the stunning views. The housekeeping staff did a wonderful job, ensuring that my room was cleaned and refreshed daily, making my stay comfortable and pleasant. The front of house staff were also really helpful and knowledgable on island trips, and nothing was too much trouble. The resort's location is another highlight. As well as being a few minutes from a white sand beach, with shallow calm water (perfect for our young children), the hotel is also walking distance of various restaurants, a newsagent, and laundry services made my stay incredibly convenient. I enjoyed exploring the local dining options and bars.

South AfricaThe bed was quite hard, but nonetheless, we needed to sleep on something.
The house was nice and clean. The aircon was on for a while before arriving. We only used it for an overnight location. The receptionist was also very nice by accommodating early check-in. Was close to the main street with shops, restaurants and massage parlors.
