Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaEarlier the room alloted was on second floor which was the top most floor. The AC was not cooling and the room was very hot. There was no lift. I requsted for room change and I was given a cottage in the ground floor which was very good. I suggest don't take the top most floor as it will be scorching hot.
The cottage in the ground floor was good

United KingdomCan be a bit noisy at times.
We fluked the best room in the hotel which we know we were very lucky to get and because of this we had an amazing experience here but I write this as if we had a standard room to give a fair and normal review. The hotel is in a nice area of Phi Phi about a 10 minute walk from the pier. It’s close enough but not too close to all the action. Here’s the truth, the hotel, the room, the bed. It’s a base. Somewhere to leave your stuff. It’s not the newest, nicest or cleanest hotel but it’s okay. The rooms are a decent size. The pool is very nice and looks lovely at night. We had a family suit right by the pool and spent a lot of time in the pool. There’s no bar so get your drinks from the 7-11 and keep them in your room fridge until you’re ready. We had 2 double beds. One of them was very comfortable and one of them was like sleeping on rollout foam mattress. That’s the one I got! All pillows were very good. The rooms only get cleaned daily if you pay an extra 200bt. We didn’t try any of the food. We feel it offers value for money and if this hotel fits your budget we would say it’s a decent choice. We also stay at a higher priced hotel on Phi phi and obviously different budgets get different experiences.

CanadaVery close to a dirty beach that all the tour groups go to, causing high traffic during the day along the pathway. There's so much garbage at the close beach just a couple of minutes away. The water is filthy, oil in the water, floating clumps of sand, we didn't stay longer than 5 minutes. It's far from the downtown area with bars but not far enough to not hear the music blasting from bars until 3am. First room we stayed in had the hardest beds and pillows, we had stiff backs and horrible sleeps. There was also no storage, no closet, shelves, or counter space, not even in the washroom, and the shower was over the toilet. We asked to change rooms after 2 days because the AC wasn't ever cold and you're supposed to turn off power everytime you leave the room. The next room we were put in was perfect, everything was an improvement and we were very happy with our stay. But why aren't all rooms the same? We felt like we suffered for 2 days and may have for the entire trip had we not said anything. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stayed.
Feels like you're in the jungle when the monkeys come around, we had a non-pool facing room and monkeys came by every afternoon. Added so much more to our experience. The breakfast buffet is 180thb and included delicious coffee/tea from the coffee bar for free. Buffet is same thing everyday but there's always something to enjoy. Pool was amazing and family friendly with shallow area. Our second room had comfortable beds and pillows, but unfortunately not all rooms are like this. Happily provided luggage assistance from/to the pier and to our room on the 3rd floor (there's no elevator). Close to some shopping, coffee bars, restaurants so not entirely secluded even though it sort of is.

United KingdomBreakfast buffet was a little basic. Rooms are tucked away with no views.
Hotel is away from the noise and bustle of Phi Phi centre, but close enough for an easy walk. Beautiful quiet beach less than 100m from the hotel. Staff were friendly and very accommodating, especially the porters who meet you at the pier and carry your bags to the hotel.

United StatesThe internet- don't even bother logging on- it was the worst service I've had in years. If you need to do a zoom video call, you're out of luck. Make sure to get a local sim and to a hotspot or have an int'l data plan so you're not up the creek. I kid you not- there was some sort of animal that was scratching- usually in the afternoon [I'm glad it wasn't in the middle of the night]. It was evident by the sounds of it that it would do its thing above, then slide down the wall behind the bed. A bit unnerving. Another thing that was also unsettling were those loud 2-way radios that the staff had as they serviced the rooms nearby- it sounded like a police raid each morning. Also, the sound from the people in the hall coming and going reverberated very well off of the tile floor. Ear plugs are recommended if you like to sleep early or sleep-in late.
The pool was great, although there were often a number of kids and/or some unruley teens that needed to calm down- especially if you wanted to go for a swim. Best time to go is just before sundown when everyone heads out for dinner/drinks. The bed was very comfy. The room was clean. The aircon was amazing. The shower head holder in the bathroom was 6+ ft up on the wall tile wall, so if you wanted a decent shower, you needed to hold the dang thing the whole time. I asked for a quieter room and was placed in the upmost floor in the corner- apart from the above, all that could be heard was the distant thumping of a neighboring bar/club. Not bad.

United KingdomI don’t like to say it because I love Thailand, but felt a bit like an all inclusive resort. Kids screaming and shouting, long corridors with door rooms off them, no personality. To be honest I didn’t love Phi Phi Island as a whole. Was full of young drunk northerners of a night time being overly loud and irritating. The hotel was ok but just had all the same people in it. Couldn’t buy a beer at the hotel or within a 5 minute walk of it as is located in a Muslim area so don’t expect to get a beer at the shop next door.
Great location, short walk out of the chaos. Very clean, our room overlooked the pool which was kind of nice. Hotel staff extremely helpful, helped us with trips including private longtail boat which was absolutely incredible (pictured attached).

United KingdomNothing.
The location of the property was brilliant. One minutes walk from the stunning crystal clear beaches! The staff were so friendly and very helpful with our cases. We had surprise visits from monkeys on the balcony too which we loved! There was also a shop in reception open all night which was brilliant for when we needed any snacks and drinks. We didn’t use the pool but it looked amazing!

AustriaThe staff wasn‘t too friendly and not very helpful, we were a group of three and we only had one key for the room, when asked if we could have a second one they said no. Rooms are only cleaned if you put the sign infront of the door. Even though the hotel is a 10-15 minutes walk from the centre the loud noise of the party beach travels right to the hotel which means there is loud music until 3-4am every night. Also very thin walls so you‘ll hear your neighbours going to the toilet at night.
The pool is really nice and big, beach towels are provided every day and free water bottles in the room.
