Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ThailandOne of the best things here, to be outside of Ton Sai to relax, is in the same time the thing where we had mixed feelings. So after relaxing, u can't do so much here. Behind the chalet is the jungle. In the night, you ll find always some cockroach in your bathroom or some geckos moving and singing from ceilings or walls. But hey, that's a common thing in Thailand. Just expect some guests :) If you don't mind, you will have a very good time here.
It's the perfect place if u are looking for just relaxing your soul. It's abroad of the Ton Sai. You can reach it just by Taxi Boat. The view outside of the window from our Chalet was stunning. Also, the whole Staff Crew was very polite and very friendly. All in one, it's a good relaxing area. You have a trial through the jungle if u want to hike to Ton Sai (70 minutes). If you want to go for the beach you have to walk around 10 min.

CanadaLike any island villa, there were a few creatures but they were harmless
The staff was pleasant and super helpful for booking day trips and ferries, the food was spectacular (our favourite restaurant on the island), we had access to kayaks and the location was peaceful and quiet.

United States-The food was not good. Breakfast was ok, but after trying the rest of the food we ate our meals at other restaurants. If the food had been better (a critical part when you are staying at a resort), this review would've been a 10/10 if you are looking for a nice quiet stay with your significant other.
-Great place to stay for couples if you are looking for something quieter/more relaxing -The room was large and bed very comfortable -A/C worked great -Staff was very friendly and helpful -After reading some of the lower rated reviews, we were a little concerned that the room was going to be dirty or infested with bugs. We found it to be clean. I think if you are staying in a bungalow, you have to expect a fly/mosquito or two to find a way into the room. -The view from our balcony was spectacular -Free beach towels and snorkeling equipment -We booked a private boat tour through the hotel to take us around Ko Phi Phi Lee for snorkeling (a must do) and the hotel provided us with several free bottles of water and soda, towels, fruit bowls and a cooler with ice -A nice pool with a great view and poolside service -Definitely a little more remote, but there are some bars and restaurants about a 10 min walk (or they will call a taxi for you) from the hotel

United KingdomBreakfast had very little options, and also the restaurant itself wasn’t great. The lady on reception was rude and unprofessional.
Property was in a beautiful, remote location. Great facilities in the room, mini fridge with drinks in, a safe, hairdryer. We had a sea view room which was stunning.

AustraliaThere should be some guidance to other guests about noise after certain hours. We could hear the guests in the bungalow next door late at night and early in the morning and it was hard to sleep as a result.
The view from our seaview room was amazing. I loved the bungalow. The restaurant and staff were very friendly and the food was lovely. The pool is beautiful.

HungaryThe only thing is, you have to get a boat from Tonsai pier to the hotel which is fine, but the transfer is only free when you arrive. When you are leaving, they charge you 250 baht per person for the boat to bring you back to Tonsai pier.
Our room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, gorgeous sea view. Because this place is surrounded by jungle, the animals get quite loud at night time, which is amazing, because it is something we normally dont get to experience. They provide free kayaks, unfortunately we only stayed for 2 nights so we did not get to go kayaking. There are lots of beautiful beaches around. The nearest village is around 700m away. The village is very authentic and the food in local restaurants is something unreal so we definitely recommend eating there.

United StatesOnly possible shortcoming is the steep steps up to bungalows…not for old or infirm…but that’s the only thing I can think of…I’d live here forever if I could afford it 😁
I loved everything about this place…it’s beautiful, very clean, staff are amazing, restaurant is as good as any of its peers in Thailand…just read the positive reviews, as the negative ones simply must be living in another universe, or just people you cannot please. I travel the world and if you’re not happy at this place you can’t be happy anywhere

United KingdomNothing!
Room was stunning, pool was beautiful and warm, all staff were so lovely, free kayak and snorkelling masks to use throughout our stay. Food was the best I’ve had whilst on holiday, location was perfect, felt nice and secluded but we were able to walk 15 minutes on a paved road to leamtong beach which was beautiful, a small village is also a 10 minute walk away with a small shop and you can trek to the viewpoints from here also. We loved it so much we extended our stay for another night, wish we could of stayed longer!

United KingdomThe only warning is that the hotel is not really suitable for anyone with access issues as we had to wade about 50 meters from the long tail boat to shore to access the property. There are also lots of steps to access reception and some of the rooms. The hotel staff were fantastic and carried our luggage the whole way from the boat to our rooms on their shoulders! None of this would put us off visiting, just that we felt it could be difficult for some people.
Beautiful rooms and stunning views. This property is located about 20-30 min long tail boat ride from Tonsai and has a very relaxed and chilled out atmosphere. the pool area is beautiful with the pool being very warm. The rooms were kept extremely clean and the bed was super comfortable. We tried the restaurant for breakfast and lunch and both were excellent. The hotel is about a 15 min walk from the local village with a lovely selection of restaurants and bars. We organised a boat trip with snorkelling from the village, which was fantastic.

GermanyTo get 10 … there are just 2 minor things for improvement: (a) a bit better shower (warmer water and more power and (b) a free shuttle to a Beach that allows Swimming (e.g. Laem tong bay). This Beach has a walking distance of about 20-25 Minutes - but as it is hot … it is hard. The 2 beaches closer (Koh Lana Bay and Loh Bagao just allow swimming with high Tide and the Major Part of Loh Bagao Seems to be private/ Belonging to a resort). The „beach“ Right in Front of the Hotel does Not allow swimming at all. Our „work around“: renting a longtail boat and going by Boat to all the nice beaches and doing a Tour (highly recommended … the one with Mr. Mote).
Wonderful resort. Our house was very nicely decorated, big, very clean and had an amazing view. Every Morning we could observe the Sunrise From our bed. really amazing. The breakfast was excellent - and also Dinner. The staff was extraordinary friendly and helpful. We really, really enjoyed our stay.

United StatesThe hotel shuttle to the port was late - so just make sure you book your return speedboat/ferry time with enough cushion to make sure you make it on time!
The hotel was beautiful! Our family bungalow was perfect - the view was amazing, comfortable beds and AC was cold! The food at the restaurant was very good! The snorkeling right off the beach was amazing - tour groups actually stopped by and snorkeled there. The village was within an easy 10 minute walk with several bars and restaurants.

ThailandThe beach outside of the resort is a rather small one, so on high tide there's almost no beach at all. Unfortunately comparing to other beaches the water here is also not so clear, so if you want a white sand beach just at your resort this might not be your spot. On low tide you can see all the reefs coming out and it's nice to get a kayak from the resort.
The room is really nice and clean, although we did found two cockroaches in the room we don't blame the resort as it is on an island. We loved all the wooden structure and furniture, the platform outside is great to chill at with nice sea breeze. The pool is amazing with great sea view, and very clean chairs.
