Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomBeautiful spot with very nice snorkeling off the beach. We booked an extra week. Staff are very lovely, restaurant is good and not too expensive considering it has a captive market. Phi phi town is a hellhole, only went there once and returned on the next boat.. A warning... Take a swimming buoy if you are keen snorkeling, some of the boats, which are unfortunately quite frequent, cut across the top of the reef instead of staying past the drop off. I nearly got hit by one and if they are heading straight for you the skipper cannot see you.

United KingdomOn our second day there were jellyfish everywhere so we couldn’t swim in the sea. But the sea is there home and we were the visitors so no hard feelings.
It’s one of them places you don’t want to say too much about in case the review you leave causes the price to go up or makes it more difficult to find availability next time.

FranceSome of the Bungalows are quite badly isolated - with cracks over the door or windows, so sometimes we have surprise visitors - animals or insects in the room at night. The reception could also give us a bit more advice on visits on other islands etc.
It’s a very separate and quiet spot that you could 100% enjoy some zen time, staff is ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE, good food and a certain amount of games/ sports to do.

United StatesStaff spoke only Thai for the most part, but very friendly and laid back. The food was fine and the bungalows were fun. The real appeal of this place is walking out your front door with your snorkel and fins and seeing an amazing amount of sea life...really a special place.

FranceRoom a little bit small to to open lugagge. Private boat price at night is expensive if you do not share with other people.
Beautiful location very close to the sea. Sound of waves at night. Restaurant near the sea. Good cooking. Staff very kind. Free boat transportation at arrival and departure, and twice a day to go to town. Deep nature. Nice to swim at high tide. Clean. Staff carry lugagge to room due to stairs.

PolandIt’s not what we didn’t like but it’s something that could be improved (we had a familly/double). With two large beds). 1. Some wardrobe to keep the clothes- for short stat it’s ok, for more than 3 days I think it’s a must 2. As the toilette is kind of isolated from the main part of room we would suggest to make some better air circulation there.
Perfect location for people who would like to stay away from crowds. Small resort with very friendly support crew. Small and empty beach. Good food.

IsraelShower was kinda off and gave me small electroshocks when I turned on the heating for the water. there was also sewerage water running like once a day near the kitchen - it wasn’t a big deal but it was noticeable. The ac in the room was super loud but acceptable.
Secluded area in the jungle, great access to a beautiful beach with an available boat taxi going to the main pair every 2 hours. It takes about 20-30 minutes to reach the pier. It was really nice, staff was super nice, food was local and great. WiFi was working great also!

United KingdomAcess to bungerlows was tricky for the older clients ,as high steps and no guide rails . We were very kindly moved to a lower spot. When they realised we were struggling with the access . No other problems.
Staff and facilities are excellent, nice choices of breakfast in the morning, restaurant menu brilliant and varied .would definitely recommend and return xx

United KingdomThere was lots of rubbish about the place . We were in a room at the top level on the end . It had a side view of the sea to the left , rubbish scattered everywhere to the right…. Why ? Clear it up !? The service in the restaurant was extremely slow at times and inconsistent. At breakfast the first day we got juice and a plate of fruit included but had to ask for juice for the following 5 days and never saw another plate of fruit . Saying that we asked for mango sticky rice one evening and they’d run out and the next evening they brought up one free of charge after our evening meal which was very kind . On our last day a member of staff lit a fire in the afternoon I think to burn garden rubbish and our bathroom was full of the smell of smoke . Although the fire was put out in the evening the wind picked up after dark and the fire started up again which was dangerous and could have been catastrophic if our friends hadn’t alerted staff ( their room was right by the fire so they saw and smelt it when returning to their room around 10pm ) . Staff did stay up until 2am ensuring the fire was fully out but I still feel we should not have been put in that position of potential danger . For full transparency I did complain after I left and was given a part refund which was dealt with very quickly .
It was a lovely spot tucked away from the madness of the pier area of Phi Phi .

United StatesSome of it was unsightly. Like their water treatment area that smelled of sewage. My bathroom smelled.
I loved how my bungalow was so private tucked up in the trees where I could watch the monkeys as well as the Andaman Sea

CanadaNoisy air conditioning so I had to turn it off to sleep, but there is a fan. Lots of garbage behind main building which they burned at times, so it made sitting on balcony or drying clothes impossible. If you have bad knees request a lower bungalow. We had to climb 40 uneven steps to ours, and there’s no railing. If you like fancy, this place is not for you.
Excellent staff, the food at the restaurant is superb ! Quiet property with nice beach that’s only accessible by boat. Nice patio on the bungalows. Wonderful sunrise views.

United KingdomNothing really, apart from at one point a boat full of tourists arrived for an hour for lunch and use the beach. I can understand they might need the money but it sort of killed the privacy ambience for a short time but it didn’t affect our stay.
Our room had 3 huge comfortable beds which were so lovely. The room was right next to the beach and the air con was great. The beach was cute and just what we wanted and only a short ride from the manic port of Phi Phi Don..the staff were great and there is free snorkels and paddle board.

United KingdomIt’s hard to find fault but make sure you stock up essentials- for a once in a lifetime it was worth the price but really for what it is maybe a little expensive
We originally book 3 nights here as part of an 18 day explore of Thailand and totally fell in love with the remoteness of the property. Loved it so much we booked another 2 nights For us a couple in their late 50’s it was absolutely a little slice of paradise but be warned there is no shop to speak off so the only place to get supplies for the room is the beach bar / restaurant which is a little on the pricey side. However the restaurant sold some of the best food we have had in Thailand. both in Thai and more western styles and most recommended. The staff were lovely but a little busy at times so patience is the key. You will get served but maybe not as quickly as you had hopped

United KingdomHaving to get the long tail boat to go anywhere was a bit restricting. We didn’t want to get back to the hotel once it was dark as you had to get into the sea in order to get off the boat.
We loved that it is very remote and was a great experience to be so private from the mainland
