    - we have booked for the deluxe villa but not sure what was luxury in it unless the view which was amazing! - mattress very very hard , a toppper could have been added - a part from the restaurant staff which are very nice people , the other hotel staff is not friendly at all and give you the impression that you disturb them, special comment for the lady at the beach bar who also sells activities, she was not friendly at all, never smiling and gave us the impression they we are asking a favor when ordering or asking details on the day trips , not answering to question, finishing chores prior to speak to you, this was the worst welcome we had at a beach and a massive negative point for this hotel - dirty sun beds with animal poop not to mention the hotel Is full of cats and dogs, we were quite skeptical with a baby. - steep access to villas but this is ok given the landscape - worth quick moment but definitely not Returning there unless room and staff welcoming training

-The scenery was amazing with clear water and snorkeling spot right in front of the hotel -the restaurant food was good

The staff in charge of selling tour activities was terrible. Zero explanations nor engagement. The opposite to what you would expect from someone who has a sales role. She could´ve told us that the tour to the 7 islands (or whatever its name was) only included bottled water, and that there was no place to buy anything to eat during the first 4hs of the tour. For the price they should include at least fruit, as the rest of the tours in town. Breakfast could be improved. Book your return boat (check out) to town in advance, otherwise there are only 2 times available.

The best part of this hotel is its beach and the restaurant facing the beach. Amazing area to do snorkeling. Food at the restaurant was really good. It´s at only 5-min boat from the town centre (the hotel includes the service for your check-in and check-out). Then you can take a taxi boat for 200/300 baht whenever you want. The rooms are very simple but spacious. It´s true that you have to climb the hill to reach them, but we did it only twice a day, since we were always somewhere else. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly. There is a massage place at the entrance of the hotel, we went every single day.

The whole place looked tired. It needed cleaning up. Litter around. Didn’t feel luxurious. The breakfast was the worst we had! No choice-freezing cold food. The loungers and umbrellas were dirty and worn out.

The room and view were amazing.

Rooms are dated with large gaps in woodwork. Food is average. So when I was checking out I was asked to Pay 1500 baht or £38 because I had made one or the towels dirty. It would need to be washed twice. This was a small amount of blood from sea urchin stings. They are really prolific in the sea at hotel beach. The bill was presented on a post it note. When I refused they backed down.

Rooms are not accessible by foot due to being very high up and so needed to get transport to and from room. Always very quick but with a young baby this made it difficult to go up and down. Limited shade during the day and beach in front of hotel felt very crowded compared to further down the beach.

Beautiful view from room. Big clean room. Diving on site. Snorkel spot off beach. Good breakfast. We walked to tonsai from long beach- walk was lovely and took 30 mins through jungle and other beaches - only one steep uphill bit. Enjoyed the fire show at the resort both nights we stayed and was away from the madness of tonsai at night.

It’s strange that the pool is open 24/7 but the bar and restaurant shut as early as 9 pm. We were utterly taken aback as there was no option to get anything delivered either. Combine that with being in an exclusive resort on an island, this was the opposite of what one would expect and frankly we slept hungry that night.

It’s a great property where one can enjoy the beach and a pool that’s open 24/7

The one AC in room was not enough for the phi phi afternoon heat and we were sweating inside the room. The staff at reception is not hospitable. treated us like school kids at check in and check out - example shouting our room number and scolding us on not forming the line for the boat ferry.

Mainly the unkindly staff, who assured us the refund of money when we by mistake booked two rooms and only used one. the breakfast was average. the swimming pool water had a strange odor. the staff at the boat reservation was not helpful the sea was wavy as many many longtail boats are passing by as there is shark point (a sight).

I got food poisoned, I’m sure it was from the hotel because it was the only meal I didn’t share with my husband.

Now the concerns. Traveling to and from Tonsai is definitely a shorts and flip flop affair. Expect to get wet. Also, sometimes they land at a proper pier, others the beach. The entrance and exit of these boats is dangerous for those with low mobility/balance, easy to slip, and sometimes the fall could be far or include sharp rocks. The rooms while cleaned daily, are in desperate need for a makeover. Stains and holes on the walls and ceilings. It does seem like they are repairing some of the rooms, we saw workers painting. The beach chairs and umbrellas are disgusting as well, but functional. We didn't see any large bugs in our room, but they're around the property, and we got many mosquito bites in the room. This seems standard on Phi Phi generally, bugs everywhere. Be prepared to hike 5-10 minutes up a steep hill to get to and from your room. They offered a ride on check in, but otherwise we walked. The tour operators onsite were not very helpful/friendly. Prices are consistent with in Tonsai for private however. There is a mini Mart down the beach with a very nice and helpful lady that helped us book a group tour instead of private, though I believe she offered both.

Overall we enjoyed our 2 night stay and would probably recommend here, though we likely wouldn't travel back to Phi Phi ourselves. Once was enough. Think carefully and read our concerns before deciding to visit. First the positives. We loved the beach, and were upgraded to a sea view room which was nice. Long beach is a much slower pace than near Tonsai which we appreciated. They offer free boat rides once an hour during most of the day, otherwise offer taxis until 9pm for a reasonable price. We also had no issue catching a taxi back from Tonsai at 11pm, though the walk looked doable. We had good breakfast and dinner, nothing exceptional, but seemingly the best on long beach. The evening fire show was cool, though the one at Freedom Bar in the main area was much better.

The swimming pool and restaurant area feels cheap. Our safe in our room did not work and they first blamed us incorrectly using it. In the end after 4 calls they fixed it by replacing the battery.

No free shuttle to the town. You have to walk many uneven steps to reach the bungalow (no recommendation for anyone not good on their feet). Good at the restaurant was below Thai average and the price well above. The breakfast was not good, and you have to pay extra for proper coffee or fresh juice if you don’t want to drink the camping coffee or supermarket juice (see photo). During heavy thunderstorm it was leaking through the roof onto the bed. Staff was only moderately friendly. We had a very unpleasant experience with one of the taxi boats, and front desk staff was not ver understanding. We left the hotel after 2 instead of 4 nights and changed to the paradise pearl on the other side of the beach, which was half price and had way better food.

Bungalow up on the hill with a beautiful view of the ocean. Directly located at a beach with awesome sea life just steps into the water.
