Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe bathroom has a very bad odour, had to shut the door at all times.
The beach is amazing, the food is good, a little expensive but it’s on an Island so it's understandable. The staff is super helpful and friendly. You can rent a private long-tail boat for 1500 baht, which is pretty affordable, and the scenery is absolutely stunning.

Beautiful place - the small cottages in nice vegetation, awesome beach, where you can eat good food for a affordable price, also we were here through the festival so it was a party. Every night fireshow. The staff loves children and does everything for them. Rooms are spacious, modern, full of equiptment. Really big bathroom. I would definitely come back.

SingaporeSundeck area on the beach is compact but OK. Designated sea swimming area is smallish more for floating than swimming.
The villas are spread on the steep hill at the end of Long Beach. The wooden villas are cosy surrounded by greenery. Breakfast and hotel restaurant are good and reasonably priced. Water is lovely, warm and clear. Water taxi to the pier is 100-150 thb and takes 10-15min. Walk takes 30min. If you have spare time take water taxi to Pileh Bay or walk to View Points (20-30min).

ItalyIt's very far from everything and getting to the city (Ton Sai Pier) from Long Beach can be tricky as you need to take a taxi boat for 100 bath/person. Not all boats are willing to take you and usually the service is supposed to be active until 6:30 pm (it's however easier coming back to the resort from Ton Sai Pier later in the evening or in general during the day). This can definitely be improved, especially because during the evening the resort doesn't offer much.
It has everything you need! The resort is located on the extreme point of Long Beach with a breathtaking view on Phi Phi Leh and Shark Point. The bungalows are cozy with a nice terrace, comfortable bed and big toilet. Breakfast is rich, probably our favourite part of the day! The staff is kind and always smiling, we really enjoyed talking with them. The resort has a restaurant opened (almost) 24/7 and offers Thai/Asian and Western dishes, a bit overpriced but makes sense given the location. There's the possibility to organize boat trips to Phi Phi Leh and around the main island at the beach bar: good service, we found a professional and funny boat captain.

PortugalBed was hard and pillows very flat. Needs some update on that front.
Beach right in front of resort. Private bungalow on the hill like the photos. They have a car to take you up to room all the time. Breakfast was good. Resort has a dive centre so no need to look for a dive shop if you are a diver. Location away from busy tonsai pier so peace and quiet compare to other places

We loved it. Really good experience. Long beach is paradise, really nice beach to swim and do snorkel. The staff at the hotel were all super nice. Great breakfast. Nice comfortable rooms with awesome views of the bay. Just 5 min away from tonsai by taxi boat so its really not a problem that its a bit far. Very clean. Restaurant is really good with option of room service which comes in handy in case of rain!

AustraliaIsolated location and heavily rutted path to the road made it difficult to walk into town, stairs are required at the path just beyond Paradise Pearl. We found the wifi connection frustrating as you had to re-login as you moved from bungalow to beach or restaurant. It also frequently dropped out.
Excellent accommodation with a fantastic view from our room. Breakfast and other meals were lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
