Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomA little tired. It is very steep, with lots of steps, but necessary to make the most of the view!
The location on the beach and the amazing view from the individual villas. Great snorkelling and a relaxed atmosphere.

EstoniaBreakfast wasn't that good but fruits and scrambled eggs are enough for breakfast.
View from the balcony was great. Long beach (the name of the beach) is exactly what you wait from Phi Phi. You need to use boats to get to the city centre so you're totally away from the crowd. We also saw monkeys between villas which was nice.

United KingdomFood and drinks were quite expensive compared to neighbouring resorts. But the room itself was good value for money so didn't mind this too much. Excursions were cash only but there's no ATM on site so be sure to bring plenty of cash.
Much better than my expectations, with amazing views and a very spacious room with a large private balcony. The room was cleaned daily with fresh linen and towels, and the free longboat to/from Tonsai pier and the shuttle bus to the rooms was helpful and timely. Coffee, tea and soft drink facilities in the room were good. The beach was quiet and always got a deckchair by the water. Excursions were enjoyable and great value for money for a private trip to the neighbouring islands.

IndiaLanguage can be a bit of a problem with the staff but nothing apart from that
If you are going to Phi Phi, there is no better resort than this one. The resort is on Long Beach which is a 7 min boat ride from the phi phi pier. The resort sends the pick up boat so accessibility is not an issue. One can enjoy the quite of the resort on this beach and ride back to the main island for the razzle dazzle. The resort is exceptionally beautiful and each room has some sort of sea view. The breakfast was amazing and the staff takes care of all your needs. They were sweet enough to set up a room decoration for my husband’s birthday. Apart from the natural beauty, one can enjoy amenities like the pool area with the bar, scuba dive and snorkeling.

United KingdomMy only concern was if walk up the road out of the resort you see the true "paradise " the island is covered in rubbish. I witnessed the True vista, it seems the Thai people don't care about the island. I think that the resorts have a duty of care to get this cleaned up as the money they charge should cover this. I won't be going back.
The resort was beautiful. It was very comfortable.

CanadaThe food was a bit pricey compared to other restaurants on the beach and not many vegetarian choices.
l liked the units nestled in the hillside. We got some exercise walking up to our room and when we didn’t feel like making the trek a staff member was happy to drive us up on a moments notice. And then I especially loved the beach which was great for swimming and snorkeling. The setting was quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of Ton Sai.

NetherlandsBreakfast could be better.
The room was very spacious, clean, comfortable and had this amazing balcony with sea view. The hotel is located in Long Beach, an amazing place to do swimming, diving, and snorkeling. The beach is so beautiful, and right in front of the hotel you can see already very diverse fish, all colours and sizes. I even found Nemo there! The hotel provides sun beds and parasols at the beach and we really enjoyed to spend the day there, having some drinks, snorkeling and swimming. The hotel restaurant is also in front of the beach which is very convenient - we tried several local dishes there. Directly at the hotel you can rent snorkel, life vests, book island hopping tours and schedule diving classes. You can either take a taxi boat to Ton Sai beach, but you can also walk - about 30 min. Hotel boat transfer from Ton Sai to Long Beach worked well and the hotel also arranged us all transportation we needed to get back to Krabi airport when we checked out, proving us a stress free journey. There's a small bar in the right side of the hotel with some fire shows - but apart from that there's not much to do in Long Beach at night, which to us was not a problem. I definitely recommend this hotel.

SwitzerlandThe quality of the food was mediocre, from breakfast to dinner. We would have stayed longer if WIFI worked, but it almost never did. In a resort whose primary activities are snorkeling and boat trips, it's terrible to find Pam, the woman who organises all the trips and rentals. She is extremely unpleasant. Even when she tries to smile, it's obviously not genuine. Most guests around us were upset and told us the same. She should not be in contact with guests.
The resort on the hill is majestic, designed with timeless architecture in mind. The room made of noble materials is a temple, with an incredible view, amidst the silent gardens and pathways. The snorkeling is one of the best in Thailand, right at the beach, in front of the resort! Plenty of long chairs and umbrellas. Golf carts tirelessly bring guests up and down hill, and the kind and helpful staff at the reception, technicians, cleaning crew and restaurant waiters made us feel like home away from home. Sakai and Beer transform the experience into something more than a holiday.

United KingdomThe hotel is on Long Beach, away from the main Tonsai Beach. It is possible to walk, but it's not well signposted and is quite rough terrain, the other option is a longtail boat, which was 100THB/person (150THB after 6.30); part of the appeal of the hotel is the location, but if you want to access the main town facilities (cheaper restaurants, trips etc), you need to bear in mind the additional cost of going back and forth.
The cabins are mostly set on stilts into the steep hillside; as a result the views from the cabins and grounds are great. The cabins are spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly. The grounds are lush and nicely maintained.
