Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Arab EmiratesThe AC in the room was positioned badly - on the side of the bed and blowing on you constantly, we had to move the bed. The villas a bit old and you can see. Restaurant is on expensive side comparing to the rest, the taste is ok.
The territory is full of lush greenery that is very well maintained. It has the view on Phi Phi Leh island, breathtaking.

IsraelIt was our 1st visit in Thailand and I wasn't aware that the ferry from phuket to phi phi works only till 14pm. It wasn't mentioned in the booking. Our flight arrived only at 15 and we had to spend one night in phuket, shortening our stay in beautiful phi phi.
Amazing place! Most recommended.

Australiait was a shame you had to pay 100 - 150 thb everytime you wanted to go to town as going by boat was the only way to get to the main shops however their is a restaurant at the resort and a few close by. I didn’t know this before booking and assumed something like going to town would be complimentary at least a few times a day. same thing getting to your rooms you had to walk up and down hills, this was fine for us but may be harder for others.
beautiful place! this island is gorgeous. the hotel was clean and beautiful spacious room with a view! breakfast was amazing and staff were friendly. would’ve loved to stay longer and snorkel or kayak around.

BrazilThe quality of the dishes of the restaurant could be better. The rooms are quite far, but they offer transfer. The noise of the boats annoys, but the snorkeling in front of the hotel worthy it.
The location is amazing, just in front of a spot plenty of colorful fish, and you can rent the equipment for snorkeling in the bar. Great view of the sunset, from my room. The tours to Maya Bay depart from the hotels beach.

United KingdomIt requires a bit if walking to get to your room but it is worth it for the views. Maybe just be prepared if you book this accomodation.
Amazing views over the sea! The restaurant is overlooking the sea and has a nice, relaxed vibe with a good value happy hour deal. Additionally, very nice service from the staff! The isolated location of the accomodation is well suited to people who are looking to relax but less suitable for people who want to be close to the centre (Tonsai Bay) Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely recommend!

Everything. The breakfast was a huge buffet. The food from the restaurant was amazing. The beach, swimming pools, the white sand, the room with excellent view, huge shower, transportation to take you from the beach to your room, excellent staff, etc.

AustraliaWe had a really good stay! There we no things that we didn't really like, just a few small things to keep in mind before booking. The on site "black tip" diving school closed down unfortunately. It looks empty and has a sign on the door that refers to their social pages. Nothing on there, and messaging didn't help either. We liked the convenience of having a diving school on site. We would have probably extended our stay if we would have been able to do some diving. Instead we had to go to PhiPhi town, as it is hard to get to town at 7am. To reach some of the bungalows you'd have to hike up a steep mountain. For people with mobility issues this wouldn't be easy. Luckily there's golf carts and mini vans that can drive you up the hill if necessary.
Location was perfect for us. Long beach is (a 10 minute longtail boat) away from the buzz in PhiPhi town, but there's still some nice food and drink options around to enjoy the sunset. The beach looks very nice and well kept and there is a beautiful reef (we found Nemo!) just off the beach. Staff at reception were very friendly and accommodating. The bar next to the resort rents out snorkel gear and arranges daytrips. Very convenient! Bungalow fullfilled our needs.

MalaysiaSteep road walking from villa to the beach or restaurant. Beverage in the minibar is free but if you did not consume any they will not top up unlike others resort. The restaurant left me a bad impression. I order 1 bowl of Seafood Tomyam soup and the waitress explained to me the ingredients include squid, prawn and fish. When they serve me the soup I then realise (after we have a 1 to 2 spoons) there is only prawn. So I call for the waitress and she explain maybe the kitchen make some mistake. She took the soup back to the kitchen and come back with the same bowl of soup with squid and fish are added in. Then the funny part is she told us the prawn they had take out because we already eaten 2 pcs. So the soup now is only squid and fish. Me and my husband was thinking where are they going to put the rest of the prawn that they take out from the soup. Throw it, add to another customer dish or they eat it..hahahaha..just wonder why this resort management are so stingy. No top up drinks according to entitlement, halfway eating food also can be taking out from your bowl.
Beautiful beach, delicious food (paying), provide beach towel, great atmosphere.

NetherlandsThe cats crap in the sand amongst the tables in the outside restaurant which leaves for an unpleasant smell at the dinner table and when lying on the loungers
The property was clean, in a beautiful location right on the beach with a beautiful place to snorkel. The rooms are spacious and clean with awesome aircon and a great view! The food at the restaurant has a large variety, happy hour cocktails are great and the staff are super friendly

United StatesBreakfast didn't have a ton of vegetarian options. Run of the mill fruit and eggs. I guess we've been spoiled the rest of the trip but it wasn't terrible. Prices are higher than going into town as well.
Wow. We paid a little extra for a "partial sea view" hut and I was just in awe of the breathtaking view. Absolutely stunning. The beach was a 2 minute walk down 3 steep flights of stairs and coming back up was difficult but worth it. The room was basic but comfortable. Deck had chairs overlooking the ocean. Taxis come frequently if you want to ride into town.
