Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeFantastic property with a beautiful private beach and plenty to do for all ages. Staff were warm and welcoming, food was delicious (we tried all the different restaurants during our stay). The hotel offers loads of optional activities for adults and kids alike, most of them are free and a few with an additional charge to participate. At the beach, there’s snorkeling, kayaking and stand up paddle board available during high tide, and a daily reef walk during low tide where you can see various sea creatures in the shallow pools of water. A very memorable holiday and we’ll definitely be going back!

United KingdomThis is a superb resort, a ten minute drive from the bustling town of Patong. Everything is there, especially for families, although with two main pools, children tended to use one and adults without kids used the other. We were all inclusive which turned out to be a great option with exceptional food and quality beers and wines included in the package. The staff were truly amazing. For info, there is a laundry just off the beach charging 90 Thai baht per kilo. Clothes had no shrinkage. Sunbeds in plentiful supply at the pools and overlooking the beach. The hotel was full. We will return.

AustraliaWe highly recommend a stay here. Close to Patong 15mins hotel shuttle bus. The staff at the pool bar Mam and Dominic and at breakfast Nina at Merchant Kitchen were exceptional very friendly and hospitable. But all staff were great. We loved the happy hours at 3 locations. The private beach for snorkelling and swimming was amazing then the choice of three resort pools.

KuwaitHowever, there were a couple of downsides during our visit. The poolside service was quite slow; it took too long to get our drinks delivered. Additionally, I encountered an unexpected issue at the gym. Despite seeing kids below 18 years working out, when I brought my son along, we were approached by a coach named Oakay, who was rather rude in informing us that my son couldn't be there. His explanation about sneakers and exercising seemed quite unreasonable.
We recently stayed at the Marriott Phuket Resort, Merlin Beach, and it was an overall delightful experience. The resort is truly kids-friendly, offering a myriad of activities that kept our little ones entertained throughout our stay. The facilities are top-notch, with two fantastic restaurants available for breakfast. We particularly enjoyed dining at the beachfront restaurant, which even boasts a cozy Starbucks corner - perfect for coffee lovers like us! The staff at the reception and in the restaurants were professional and friendly, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our comfort.

SingaporeHonestly, there wasn’t anything we didn’t like. The resort provided a comfortable and relaxing stay with excellent service and thoughtful amenities. It was a wonderful experience for us.
The resort offered a perfect blend of comfort and family-friendly amenities. The spacious pool-view room was a relaxing retreat, and the staff were warm and accommodating, even providing thoughtful touches for our little one on her first birthday! We especially appreciated the three pools, spa room, and daily happy hours on the beach! The variety of dining options made every meal enjoyable, and the food was exquisite. It was the ideal place to unwind while still having plenty of activities to keep us entertained.

AustraliaMore variety at the buffet, no service for children under 3 - had to outsource a nanny for my child.
Friendly and attentive staff, the team made us feel supported and welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The all inclusive package was worth the money. The facilities were great, lots of options and loved the direct access to the beach.

United KingdomThe shower leaks as you get out of it flooding the floor which meant we had a constant wet towel on the floor
Great hotel, has everything you need in one place, staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed room only and price is very fair for the outstanding experience we had! If I return to Phuket, I will stay here again for sure! People knock the location but actually the location is great, just a 10min taxi from the hotel to patong, anything further afield will obviously take longer but it’s the kind of place where this is the case anyway, especially during peak season where traffic is bad. If you want to be on the beach, this hotel has a beautiful secluded beach for guests only and is not shared with other hotels along the beach as is often the case. This made it feel like a secluded tropical paradise! Thoroughly enjoyed and have already recommended to others!
