Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI really struggled with the staff at this hotel I found them rude and unhelpful. They weren’t very approachable unlike staff at every other hotel we have been to in Thailand. The ‘standard’ room was basic and on the Main Street. We also had to buy our own toilet roll as it wasn’t replaced for 3 nights.
The pool on the beach is an ideal location and well kept. It is really big and clean. The food and drinks at the pool bar were good and reasonable.

RussiaThe rooms and not comfortable at all. the walls were dirty, the bed was hard and not comfortable at all. the airconditioning was not working properly, even after the technician checked, it did not work. there were no empty loungers or chairs by the pool. and you have to pay extra for the day beds.
the location is nice

NorwayThe room was a bit dirty. It was dirty water from the air conditioning. In addition, there was a lot of music from the beach, but it was fine when we used earplugs! The staff told us about this in advance so we were aware of it.
Very nice location! Right by the beach and very central - nice pool.

United KingdomRoom felt quite outdated and was very small for the price paid. Have had much nicer rooms for this price in other places in Thailand. But then again this is phi phi and generally a more expensive island.
Amazing breakfast. Best we have had in Asia. So much choice and you sit on the beach, it is really lovely. Great staff, always happy to help. Location is perfect. Pool is nice but water was quite warm.

ArgentinaOur room was old in the building next to the main street, so very noisy. It was also a little bit tiny one.
Very nice complex with easy access to the beach, great infinite swimming pool. The breakfast has multiple choices between salty and sweet options, also, between western and Eastern food.

AustraliaThe rooms were super dated with mold and residue on the shower and tiles. It just didn't seem clean at all. The location is super super central so it's incredibly loud. But that can't be helped. 2 nights was more then enough for me. I'd probably look for something a bit more modern personally next time.
Location is right on the beach

United KingdomOur room wasn’t great, D216. It was right on the strip so we could hear music and shouting till about 1am/2am, not an issue if you are the partying type though. We were warned the room was loud and could change the second night but as we were only staying 2 nights we didn’t see the point to pack up again.
The location was great, short walk from the pier and the hotel was lovely.

United KingdomSlight smell of drains in some areas of the resort, some areas around the back rooms of the hotel were run down. Also this isn’t exactly the hotels fault but we had 2 guys really drunk trying to get into our room at 2am, however felt safe as the door triple locked and had a peep hole so we could see what was going on
Room and staff were both fab, pool facilities and breakfast both gorgeous, perfect location and really nice gym on site

United KingdomNoise!! If you are in a standard room at this hotel you won’t be able to sleep even with earplugs until 2-3am. The sports bar next door blasts live music; Singer, drum set etc. until 3am which is great as the sports bar is having fun, but when you’re trying to sleep you absolutely can’t. It was as if we were playing the music full volume on a speaker in our room. We aren’t dramatic people either, we’re young and often out until late but we struggled to sleep every night with earplugs after going out for a couple drinks.
Hotel breakfast is amazing. Best buffet we have had so far at a hotel in the islands of Thailand. You sit right on the beach which is beautiful in the mornings plus you can have your eggs freshly made too which is a great touch. Lots of variation between different types of food such as a european breakfast and local foods too. The location is right in the centre of Phi Phi which is great. Everything like the Pier where you arrive, all the restaurants and bars plus beaches are within an 8 minute walk. The pool is lovely looking out to the sea. You can sit on a sunbed all day for free it is only the cabana beds which are ‘minimum spend’. Music on all day at the pool it makes it feel like a mini beach club with table service too. Staff were super helpful whenever we needed them. Reception warned us about our room being super noisy as it was “Only a standard room” so therefore it’s right above a sports bar which plays music all night. We felt a little unsettled that she kept saying “only a standard” and felt like she wanted us to pay more money to upgrade but we chose to stick with it as we didn’t want to pay anymore for accommodation due to our daily budgets. Pleased she pre-warned us though.

Great location, breakfast not the best but there all pretty much the same. Great pool with sea view. Nice vibes, double comfy beds in the pool with 1000bht minimum spend to chill on. Personally I thought well worth it by the time you’ve had a drink, bit of lunch, your ready for a nice relax and kip before hitting the reggae bar 🤣
