Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesFood was pretty forgettable and the drinks/food for purchase were expensive. The room itself was not very clean and the bathroom smelled a bit.
Amazing location! Paradise vibes and totally unique experience to stay in a floating hotel. Staff was nice and helpful.

IsraelWe got the impression that there was a schedule, but no one told us. One time almost all the resort left on boats and we felt like we missed something.
It's a raft house on the water in a beautiful lake. what's there not to love? The lake itself is so beautiful. Really breathtaking. The facilities of the hotel are really good, we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts even paid to mail us an iPad we forgot on the raft after we left, so generous! We had plenty of really good memories that we enjoy the beautiful beautiful view and we really recommend the place

United StatesWhen booking directly, you don’t have a dedicated guide to take you around or direct you how things work. Others arrived with immediate direction and always enlightened about next steps/activities. I recommend booking through an external tour group who mostly assigns an English speaking coordinator/tour guide. We found ourselves asking what was next quite a bit. Breakfast was lacking but lunch and dinner were great. There was direct open spaces to the outside that allowed some large cockroaches and other insects in through the night. Not a biggie as it’s the wilderness - worth noting though. Cold water only for showers - again no biggie. Was a little bummed we didn’t get a key to the locking door. It would have been nice knowing our belongings were locked up. I ended up bringing $5,000 and passports with us everywhere we went (sometimes in heavy rain).
The location, staff, and activities were awesome! Kayaking was unbelievable. Tour guides were able to spot a lot of wildlife including elephants several times. They had a well stocked store with the essentials you need to stay buzzed and happy :) Staff always made sure you were happy.

IndiaFood options were limited and the taste was not up to the mark. There was no electricity during the day, which even though we knew beforehand, yet it was still unbearable to stay in or near the room during scorching heat of the sun.
Location of the rafthouse is great and staff is very cooperative. They have kayaks near houses for us to take on a quick ride whenever you want during the day. You can even get cards and other games like Jenga etc. to pass time during the night.

United KingdomThat we couldn’t choose what food we ate. Didn’t have a bar would really recommend them getting a chargeable bar they would make good money , Couldn’t choose a day tour from your accommodation, our little trek and tour we did were fun but not enough. Was very bored we actually left a day early due to not having anything to do which cost us over £200 as a loss to us. Our raft house had see through curtains so when changing and showering we had to be so careful not to be seen by other people staying , felt very uncomfortable especially my wife , just had the feel we couldn’t do anything without being watched by others
The national park was incredible what an experience , we loved the raft houses was fun staying on the lake and having the back drop of the national park , was so relaxing

United Kingdomit was quite pricey but a once in a life time experience.
the location and the setting were second to none. Having the kayaks made it as we were able to take them out whenever we wanted and watch nature quietly from the river.

United KingdomThe location and scenery was nothing but amazing, probably the most beautiful thing I have seen. We were able to use the kayaks included in the price to explore the lake to which we saw monkeys and on our morning tour we witnessed elephants in the wild too. This was just simply amazing. However that being said we expected more. We paid nearly £179 which we believed included a hike and bamboo raft to a coral cave, however this was an additional 200 baht each, we also had to pay 320 baht each entrance fee to the national park on arrival to the peer. For the price we paid this should have been included. The place itself was clean however some of the wooden boards could do with replacing and the room at night was very hot but again not much that can be done about that due to the climate and it being on the middle of the lake. Overall we are happy we have done it as it would always be something we would want to do but I would recommend looking into some before booking and looking for the best price.

United KingdomShower broken and hanging off. Everything had cobwebs. No choice for food. Was told by the hotel to be at the pier at 11am and given the wrong phone number of a lady who would meet us there. The number was wrong and the hotel were rude on the phone to us when we called them to let them know. We finally found the woman at the pier who didn't get out of her chair to even say hello or explain anything. Just rudely told us to 'sit over there' We waited at the pier 45 minutes. Staff didn't talk about anything upon check in... tours, check out times, what's included to eat and drink or what time we would go back on the boat. Upon arrival we were greeted by one lady who told us which room we were in. We paid 10,000 baht for this room! Expected a bit of customer service at that price! Already told them before we came that we are vegetarian but they served us chicken. Told us at 9.35am, "Times up, time to go!" Just like that. One man who I saw for the first time said thank you the other staff just walked away. I don't know if this hotel is usually this bad, looking at the reviews I would guess probably not . Perhaps they don't give customer service if you're a Thai person? Either way, this is the worst, and most expensive hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. Warm water and bland food is included. Do not recommend this hotel at all. And we are easy to please people!
The only Pro to this awful hotel is the boat driver. He was fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable and service minded. We forgot to ask for his name but he's the 37 year old with no hair. Big shout out to him!!!

IndiaEverything was perfect except the service. We had to wait for dinner, breakfast while others were served right on time. That’s the only thing they can improve on. Except this it was a lovely stay and I would recommend everyone to spend a day or 2 in Praiwan and enjoy the beautiful and peaceful nature

United KingdomWe are extremely disappointed with this stay. For the price that we paid in Thailand is considered luxury accommodation and we had all the opposite. On the booking it says that all fees were included but to access to our hotel we had to pay an extra fee of 500 Baht otherwise we couldn’t get in. Also the access was really awkward, the transport stops in the village and then the hotel ask us to pay 3000 Baht to pick up us and take us to the pier. In addition to this the room and bathroom were not clean. We found several spiderwebs, shower was not draining because was a lot of hairs from previous guest. No hot water provided, and no electricity until 6pm at all (this was not mentioned in the description). For 220€ we expected a high standard and we did not even get the basics. We felt totally scammed and disappointed with the whole situation. My recommendation, book another accommodation, not necessary inside the park and book a day trip and enjoy without waste your money.
Friendly staff
