Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.

SingaporeBreakfast selection could be improved (especially if compared with the other Pullman in Phuket). Overall, the service could have been better at the different restaurants within the hotel, but I am sure this was also due to the high occupancy.
Loved the hotel and our room, everything is new and clean and comfortable! Equally really enjoyed the location as it is remote far from Khao Lak and other hotels/resorts meaning you have a long and wild stretch of beach to explore and to yourself. This was peak season and it was very busy with the staff working hard to keep everything running smoothly, special thanks to Matthias who seemed to be everywhere all the time. The reception staff were very sharp getting back to all our requests and efficiently booking taxi's/trips for us to enjoy.

SpainNothing to complain about. It was a great stay. I just would have prefered to have no music by the beach and enjoy the quietness of the place, after all that's why we chose this location, to be far from the mass tourism in a quiet place.
- the staff is really kind and friendly. very professional. - hotel facilities are amazing and room design espectacular - hotel is brand new - breakfast is really good and the restaurants offer really good dishes at reasonable prices (even if you are far from other restaurants outside the hotel, the prices of the hotel restaurants are really good, and the food quality is really good too, which we really appreciated). - water sports equipment for free - amazing gym My birthday was during my stay. I got a really nice surprise when i got to the room! Thanks a lot to the room service team! Something to remember for the rest of your live! Really thank you!

SpainNot close to anything so if you want party this is not for you, this is a, place to come to rest. We came with kids and the just loved it so much as well! Not much to see in town in any case. We have been here and we just loved it so much. Food is improvable. In khao lak I would not go anywhere else. The valuation of booking is way lower that it should be. It should easily be over 9.
The resort is a without doubt one of the best in the area. By far better than other huge resorts with very surprisingly much higher valuations. Rooms really comfortable, clean and peaceful. Extremely beautiful premises and landscape, beautiful beach.

FranceThe food and speed of service is a complete let down and way below 5* standard. My wife is vegan and there was only 1 (very small & basic) salad on the whole menu that suited her needs, very disappointing for a 5* resort. It should be a 5* experience for everybody, regardless of dietary needs. She ordered a tofu sandwich one day and it was lathered in mayonnaise (not vegan!). We had a car, so travelled to the town 20minutes away & had amazing food at half the price. At the resort, our lunch and dinner orders took at least 1 hour to arrive & there was not much apology for the slow service. Many of the staff do not speak English. They are very pleasant, but it makes it very difficult to communicate because of the language barrier. The food and service prevents this resort from being a true 5* experience.
The resort is very new, the rooms are beautifully designed and the cleaning staff are superb, top-class. The pools and grounds are really well kept and overall, there is a relaxing ambience with good activities (good gym, pingpong, petanque, SUP, kayak)

Eswatinicustomer service should be improved - slow, dirty - not what you expect for 25000THB per night absolutely worst restaurants (all the types - breakfast, beach club, a-la carte) - 3* level its a shame to have such food quality in Thailand we went to local cafe on the beach and in the next village - MU-TE-LAY
location is great for whose who love the lonely places and no crowd - good choice for hideaway pools are also great

United KingdomStaff are not very helpful. We asked for help booking a taxi and they booked one in 2.5 hours from that time and for 3500 bhat. We text someone we found online and found a taxi for 2200 bhat in just 30 minutes. We also spent half an hour locked out of our room waiting for assistance with the key. Waiting staff do not come to you so we always had to walk around to find them at the beach bar if we wanted a drink or if we needed to leave the restaurant and sign the receipt. The location is half an hour drive away from everything so quite inconvenient if you want to eat outside of the hotel or if you want to visit the town. Restaurant prices are much higher than in the town and service is very slow if ordering a la carte. The pool area is small so no space to swim as sharing the space with lots of other families. There are not enough sun loungers so everyone reserves them with a towel early in the morning before breakfast. It is a nice looking hotel but I am surprised it is 5 star considering the above.
The rooms are very spacious and mine had a lovely deep bath. Plenty of complimentary water. Comfy beds. The beach is lovely.

SingaporeThe location is not good. That’s not the hotel’s fault but it is unacceptable in my mind to charge TBH 150 per person for a one way journey to the nearest High Street. The hotel even charges for transport for our 3 year old who actually just sat on our lap each way. This meant that as a family of four, for us to head to the High Street and back cost us TBH 1200 (£28.) Otherwise, you are stuck eating the hotel food, which was very hit and miss. The buffet has an ant problem. My son refused to eat his bread after two ants crawled out of it. There were also many small flies all over the uncovered food. It was not cheap and to my mind, not reflective of the service or standard expected at a five star hotel.
The room was very comfortable. Staff were lovely and helpful and my kids particularly enjoyed playing with the staff in the kid’s club. The beach is great and pools were good.

ThailandThe food and staff service, however, need improvement. Given the remote location, we expected better food quality. We experienced poor service, with a long wait for two dishes that never arrived despite three follow-ups. When we asked, we were told the dishes couldn't be prepared. Additionally, we requested a buggy for check-out due to our large luggage but waited 30 minutes without any pickup, as the receptionist was engaged in gossip with another guest. Furthermore, there were areas of the room that had not been cleaned when we checked in. Overall, communication with the staff was very poor.
The hotel offered fantastic amenities and a lovely setting. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were excellent, and the room was spacious. We especially appreciated the thoughtful surprise for my son's birthday, with balloons and a complimentary cake. However, we visited during a time when the strong currents prevented us from enjoying the beach.

RussiaThe outdoor kids playground doesn’t have any tent or roof or anything of this kind, so it is not even possible to use during the period from 9:00 AM till 6:00 PM, because everything is boiling hot, you can’t even touch anything and after the sunset it doesn’t have enough light for the kids to play there. The parking doesn’t have any awning or roof, so the car turns into a sauna there. The employees at the reception’s don’t speak English well. The restaurant where they serve breakfast is not good: there was a cup with pumpkin seeds at the salad station full of ants and at the Italian dinner they have practically no pizza, just some type of bread with tomatoes on it, too expensive and not good. I forgot my belt at the property and I contacted them afterwards because I wanted to return it, they never responded back. At the spa entrance they have an advertisement saying that 90 minute massage costs 1890 baht, but when it is time to pay 1890 turn into 2300 baht. There are lots of mosquitoes outside and in the rooms.
The pool is nice, the restaurant at the beach is good, the room is pretty and clean.

United KingdomReceptionist checking us in was very frosty toward us for some reason. Did not take a deposit for spending in the hotel which resulted in us having to pay for everything we had on an ongoing basis. Buffet dinner was a huge disappointment, food was very plane and boring. Location of this hotel is the biggest issue as it is literally miles and miles from any other restaurants or other hotels.

TurkeyWe were at Presidential King Süit. When we checked in, i realized that room was not clean. Bar top full of walking ants (probably still walking) Jacuzzi inside was dirty. Lavatory inside was dirty. Water marks and dust in bathroom. Bedding and towels were clean and good, so i didn't want to upset my wife, I didn't call reception. Next morning we went to breakfast area, many tables were full of dirty plates and there was no space to sit. I had to move dirty plates to other dirty table top to open breakfast space. (yes we requested clean-up but stuff did not clean) We stayed in many hotels in Thailand this was worst experience. Hotel design is good. I guess problem is Hotel crew and management not doing well that we can't get good service.
Nothing good

AustriaThe staff. At the arrival, the check took them almost two hours. It was difficult to communicate properly with the receptionist and every time she walked away, we did not get any information on why and when she would come back. The dinner on our first night was one of our worst experiences we’ve had so far. The lack of etiquette and overall rude behaviour got us annoyed. We had two salads as a starter and then we wanted to order a simple meat platter to share. At first, the waitress could not understand when we showed her the order on the menu, then she stopped listening to me and started shouting to her colleague from a distance something in thai. Finally, she arrived and took our order. Afterwards, when we had been halfway done with our salads, the chef came and threw the main course to share on our table, without a word or any plates to share it. When we asked for said plates, we got a strange look, but they still brought it. Evidently, when we were finished with our salads, the main course was cold. As it was time to sign our bill, no waitress showed up for ten minutes to clear our table, so we just left to our room. Following that waitress calling us around 8 times in our room, when we were already laying in bed, with her phone speaker probably on mute, just for us to come down again and sign the bill. The second day we barely spent any time in the hotel, however when we were having a drink on our balcony in the evening, all of a sudden a staff member stood in our room with our washed clothes. We didn’t hear a knock or bell and he was just standing there, put the clothes on our bed, took a photo of it and left, without apologising for the disruption. In conclusion. we were happy to leave to our next destination the following day, because our stay at the Pullman Khao Lak was to us more frustration than vacation.
The property was very clean and beautiful. They overbooked our original room type, so they upgraded us to the presidential suite with no extra costs, which was a pleasant surprise. The food was not bad, but did not life up to the 5 star expectations. The beach and facilities there were great. The breakfast buffet was very varied and delicious.
