Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe location is out on the periphery of Chiang Rai. The good news is that Chiang Rai is not that big, so you can walk (long walk) to the core of the city. That said: there's not much to see in the actual core of the city. All of the important sights to see in Chiang Rai are even farther out on the periphery, with one notable exception: the Blue Temple. And that is a VERY short walk from the resort. Also, the breakfast was a bit simple and did not vary.
Big comfortable room with a large comfortable bed. Extremely clean. The resort grounds are very nice. The staff is very friendly. The pool is huge and has elephant statuary on the corners. What's not to love about that?

ThailandA very nice hotel in a good location very close to the blue temple. The room was clean and spacious overlooking the river. Sadly, the stay was marred by the recent floods but nobody can be blamed for that.

Hong KongBeds were super hard. Massive but very hard. With that being said, we had an amazing sleep. Communication with staff was a little difficult but we got there. Food at the restaurant could have been better. Vegetables were good but our khao soi was disappointing with not that much chicken.
It was a great one night stay before we flew back to Bangkok. The pool was very large and with a great view. The room and bathroom was very spacious. Coffee had lots of options with an automatic coffee machine. We loved the happy hour option as well.

PolandThe beds were very hard for me and the doors to the bathroom didn't offer complete privacy.
The resort was really amazing and delivered everything that was promised. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. The complimentary tolieteries were very useful. The location is good if you want to stay in the quieter part of the town, with amazing river views and a very short walk to the Blue Temple. We commuted by Grab to the city center and it was affordable. Grocery shop is a bit further away, but in a walkable distance.

United KingdomWe used the bikes offered, to travel to local shops (about half a mile away). The tyres were bald, half flat and the kick stands jammed. We didn't feel too safe riding on the main road with no lights provided at night.
We stayed in a Balcony River View Suite and paid GBP£575 for a week. At the end of the Driveway up to this hotel is the Blue Temple. It was great to be able to wander down there and look around. We could pick quieter times to look around without travelling there. We also found The Bike Cafe through the other side of the Temple. Well worth a visit. We loved the enormous bed. The mattress was very firm and comfortable. Our room was good - very large, lovely bathroom and a sizeable balcony. The fixtures and fittings were not ultra modern but they were solid and tasteful. The bathroom had twin sinks, separate toilet, large jet bath with a view over the grounds (if you wanted it!), separate shower cubicle with seating ledge again with a large window overlooking grounds (Full sturdy blinds were available for those who prefer privacy!). There was a separate large walk-in wardrobe/dressing room where there was a safe for valuables. Coffee and Tea making facilities were provided at the side of a desk area. Plenty of power points available for charging tech too. There was a patio table and chairs on the balcony along with a full sized Day Bed and cushions. Another full sized Day Bed was available in the main room along with plenty of cushions and the traditional firm triangular Thai Cushions. The pool was huge but quiet so it was great to spend time swimming and we had plenty of loungers available to relax on. There was a gym but we didn't use it. The restaurant had a good menu and we ordered A La Carte rather than buffet options. The food was fresh and very tasty. Breakfast provided plenty of choice for all nationalities. Overall, we were very happy with the room and facilities. There was plenty of comfort and space, providing excellent value for money.
