Transportation links around the resort as well as the bathroom within the property were not ideal. Bathroom kept flooding when taking a shower.

Really loved the location, a great resort right on the beachfront. The cabin itself was a good size with a fridge and storage space. Bathroom on the smaller side.

The beach is really nice. It’s quiet and gets the sunset. The basic room we booked was really good value. The grounds are lovely. The pool was lovely too. We really enjoyed our few nights here as was upset to have to leave.

Wifi did not work very well. No outlets near the bed. Bungalow was very dated, especially the sink/bathroom. Side road to resort is very dark at night, I would suggest making sure you arrive during the day. 2/3 nights were really quiet but one night there was really loud music, presumably from the one nearby bar. Bungalow is closed with a pad lock. Didn’t have hot water but staff acted very quickly and fixed it within a a few hours. The bungalow had a lot of bugs, ants in particular which I imagine that comes with the territory of bungalows but wanted to mention.

Located on the beach. Pool was nice. Resort itself is really pretty. Not too far from restaurants and pretty close to the ferry pier (about 45 min walking). AC worked well. Very chill vibe here, lots of families.

We had booked 2 BR villa in Rung Arun resort 2nd bedroom had 2 double beds (makes it very crammed) No provision for food in the resort.

Location is right at the Baan Tai beach. Rooms were clean and neatly kept.

The long lane to get to the property / location - it’s quite dark but the overall location is good. There wasn’t really anything happening at the resort, very chill/quiet, no shop or anything available to buy drinks etc at the hotel. Tiki beach is directly next door and they have a bar, music playing and something happening every night so can easily go there (walk along the sand, takes 1 minute). Furniture is quite dated and you lock the bungalow with an actual padlock and key but this was fine and secure.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The staff were very friendly, the pool area was nice, room was very clean (we had an extra single bed too, I think most rooms have it). Aircon was fine, shower / bathroom was good. Basic enough but no complaints :) we rented bike here too for 200b per day. Staff also help book taxi.

The Resort is not directly on the main road and you need to walk about 200-300 m on a small road which is a lot if you arrive with heavy luggage. It is about 2,5 km from the city center (about 30-40 minutes walk), 3 km from Thongsala pier, so you will need a scooter to move around (or a taxi 100 THB one way which can be arranged at the property or you just stand on the main road and stop any collective taxi). The owner is nice but don't expect any help in booking the tours, ferry tickets, scooter rental, etc. There is also no restaurant and no bar. I had many ants everywhere in my room, and there are many mosquitos in the evening, so don't forget to bring a mosquito spray!

Quiet and clean bungalows, they are cleanend every day. The Resort is directly on the beach, which is nothing special but it is nice to take a walk or watch the sunset. There is a nice pool and the water is clean. This property is good for relaxing, you can also take a massage on the beach. Luckily next door there is Tikki Beach Hotel, which has a Restaurant, a beach bar and live music at the weekend. Thank you very much for the luggage storage on new year's day as the hotel was fully booked.

The bath curtain was full of mold. There were only 2 sockets in the whole room.

The room was a great value for the price. The service was really good, the reception was always available and the staff were very nice and welcoming. Everyday the staff cleaned the whole hotel area and took care of the gardening. The compound was very well maintained. There's an option to book a massage in the hotel, and to rent a vehicle. Our hotel was right on the beach, and had a restaurant near by and water sports.

Room amenities are non existent. We had the most expensive beach front bungalow which was extremely scarce, with no cotton buds, shower caps, the cheapest, flimsiest toilet paper, no second waste basket other than the bathroom, no night stand or electrical socket on the second side of the bed and so on, just very basic. The big sliding doors to the beach are nice, but because the glass hardly mirrors, everyone outside could watch you walk naked in your room. No breakfast options, though next dit Tiki Bar has excellent food, luckily. Even basic English isn't understood by the manager, which caused some trouble with minor and one major issue. Personnel overall is somewhat invisible. The view on the sea is amazing, but in August the water is too shallow to swim, even at high tide, a big bummer. Rent a scooter at Pukki's back on the main road to drive to swimmable beaches

The beautiful setting of the hotel, in tropical gardens with a lovely pool. Very good beds. Good position of the ac, above the bed, so you don't get the cold blow on your face or body.
