Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Not bad but worth being aware of: bathrooms are wet room style. Mattresses as like most places in Thailand are very firm. Lockers available in room but not large enough for entire bag to fit.
Great location - very central but quiet at night. A very small hostel but well run. Lovely staff always happy to help with queries or booking tours/ ferries. Free coffee / fruit / biscuits in common area and snorkels available to borrow. Exceptionally clean hostel especially considering how close it was to the beach. Suncream and insect repellent available for use. Good AC.

Only thing I’d say is the curtains were a bit see-through, so when one person had their light on at night it lit up the whole room. But would rather have that than no curtains at all!
Great small hostel but easy to meet people in your dorm to hang out with. They also offer tours for a good price!

The only downside of this place was the beds were extremely hard, like some of the worst I've slept on in all of Asia. The bed curtains were also see-through which wasn't a huge deal but they didn't do much for privacy.
The owner and staff are amazing, kind, friendly and hard working! The owners son was probably my favorite part of my whole experience in Koh Phi Phi, the cutest and sweetest little guy! The location was perfect, just far enough from the main beach you don't hear the loud music all night but still close to all the awesome restaurants and beach! Free coffee, tea, cookies, and bananas everyday, all day! They cleaned the room twice a dayand made your bed fresh everyday! Super clean hostel!

Not a big common area for hanging out but many hostels looks like this on this island.
The hostel is nice and the staff is super helpful. There are free fruits and snacks all day (bananas, cookies as oreos, nuts, or dry fruits) and also free coffee. Just one minute from the beach area where all the parties are happening in the evening. Everything was always clean, bed was very comfortable. Wifi works great.

Staff was incredible! Such a warm welcoming and very helpful! Clean room,beds,linen and bathrooms with shampoo and shower gel! location is amazing,right in the center of everything It really fell like home and I can’t wait to be back!

bed a bit hard but I still slept well as scuba diving does tire you out!
brilliant little hostel outside of the main drag of the town but 2 mins walk to the beach and just 5 mins to the main town area whic for me was just perfect. two dorms of 10 and each with two shower wet rooms at the end. small wall box for valuables and lockers for a ruck sack. the rooms were spotless and cleaned regularly. each bunk has food curtains and you get a fresh towel every day. there is complementary tea/coffee and bananas provided which very welcome. the owners are so friendly and welcoming. I picked this property as described as being on the quieter side of town and certainly was with no night time noise at all. it’s an easy walk from the hostel up to the 3 viewpoints close by loved this hostel, highly recommend.

It's pretty basic and there's no common area to meet people. But overall it's good value for money and a nice vibe.
The staff were really welcoming and friendly. There is an offering of free tea/coffee and treats which is lovely.

Practically no windows in the dorm.
Everything is very clean, they clean every day. 2 showers and 2 toilets per dorm which is nice. Free coffee, tea, snacks and fruit. Staff is very helpful. Quiet at night.

The bed curtains could be a bit darker to prevent the light to pass through
Small hostel but really easy to meet people. The hosts are nice and try to help you with everything. Free food (bananas, biscuits, tea & coffee), 2 bathrooms per dorm, lockers, free mosquito repellant... The only bad side was that there wasn't free drinkable water fountain, but the host changed it and bought the machine on my last day. So now you can have free drinkable water to fill your flask :)

curtains in dorms were quite sheer so didnt block out light or give as much privacy as they couldve but wasnt a problem really
such an amazing little hostel, friendly staff who went above and beyond, dorm and bathrooms were cleaned sparkling every day and we got fresh towels and blankets everyday and they also would make your bed up for you. we got free snacks, coffee and tea and a free keyring when we checked out!

Absolutely nothing!
LOVED this Hostel! The staff were so lovely and unbelievably helpful when I cut my foot as they had a first aid kit. There was free coffee and biscuits and a lovely little seating area outside the rooms. The hostel itself is only 2 minutes from the beach but it’s quiet at night which is brilliant as the music goes on until late at all the party hostels. A great option if you want to go out but also have peace and quiet when you go to bed. I couldn’t recommend staying here more!

Curtains were see through.

The beds were quiet hard. There were only two showers in the room, so sometimes you had to wait a while to shower.
location was great. staff was very friendly. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing hostel away from the parties, this is the perfect place! Facilities were clean.

Shower water was a little bit salty
I have stayed in dozens of hostels and this is easily one of the best. The cleanliness of the rooms is incredible and the staff do everything they can to make your experience the best. When one of the girls in the hostel had her bag stolen from the beach (including phone and credit cards), a member of staff helped locate the bag which was dumped behind an abandoned building close to the hostel. The bag wouldn't have been retrieved without her help and it just shows how caring and helpful the staff here are.
