The privacy is a bit lacking in the dorms, since you can see through the curtain when lights are on. This also might wake you up when someone enters the room in the middle of the night.

Comfy bed , cleaning bedroom, bathroom is great with rain shower and you can change your towel at the lobby for 24 hrs. Love movie time at 2nd for every night.Also provide you the sunset view in front of the hotel.

The water didn’t always get hot, but it wasn’t a huge concern of mine since it wasn’t like freezing cold 😂 there could be more fans in the common area downstairs

I love love love the pool area! It’s so close to all the bars and restaurants! Staff was very nice! My privacy screen was broken, I wasn’t going to say anything but I left and when I came back it was taken off to be fixed! I like the jokes they set up! Everyone was so friendly it was really easy to make friends even though it’s not a “party hostel”. If I come back to Koh Tao I would 10000% stay here again. It feels luxury :) and they have a cute hostel dog

The blinds on the beds in the shared rooms were a bit transparent. Pool was cool but the water tasted a bit off

Hostel activities were excellent and a great way to meet others. Beds were so comfortable. Extremely clean, cleaners were constantly cleaning bathrooms and hallways.

Lots of sand in the rooms which got in the beds

The close blindes made the bed feel private even with 12 people sharing, staff were friendly with lots going on. Under a 10 min walk to the centre and beach access right in front!

Extended our stay here as we loved it some much. We had a private room, perfect for the two of us. Nice clean modern room. Staff were great, we ended up going on a sunset hike organised by the hostel, so nice to be brought by a staff member and shown beautiful viewing points. Bonus it was for free too

I’ve been in this hostel for three days with two friends. A welcoming environment, friendly staff. They took care of sending me two towels that I had forgotten in the room. I really appreciated it. When I return I will stay with them again. Goodbye Savage and thanks again.

The noise was at some point problematic. The automatic lights disturbed when people come go at night.

The staff were exceptional, although shared bathrooms it was very clean. The shared room was offering privacy. Very good location.

Beds were extremely comfortable and private, even in a 16 bed dorm. Plenty of showers so always one available when needed, even at busy times. Brilliant pool.

What I didn't like was that I had to leave when I did. Savage Hostel and Koh Tao were exceptional and I really enjoyed my stay there 😊.

Staff at reception were fantastic and the place kept spotless by the wonderful ladies. Couldn't find a fault with the place.

The toilet really smelt and made the room smell bad. Water stopped working completely one night. A few insects on first night - cockroach. No where to hang clothes and no bin in the room!

One thing - the only bin is a small one in the bathroom. Would be nice to have a bigger one in the bedroom.

The suite was absolutely stunning, the pool was the best we’d been to by far. The food at the cafe downstairs was delicious and the location is perfect. A 10/10.
