The area itself has not much to offer at night for dining and other things so you are limited in what's in the resort or nearby places that more or less seem to always offer the same

The beach in front is great and the staff is always friendly and organises everything you like to do. Nice restaurant at the resort with Thai and Indian cuisine

Nothing.. I think its perfect.

Although it's 7000 miles away I feel Sayang is my 2nd home. The staff are incredibly friendly, polite and there's always someone around to tend to your needs. With their own bar and restaurant on the beach, massage available, and front desk will order taxi bikes and cars for you. Day trips are also easily organised. Just 5 minutes by taxi bike into Saladan (do try the food on walking street on a Saturday night!!) I had 3 nights in a bungalow in the gardens then 4 nights in a deluxe 'rimlay' bungalow a stones throw from the sand... absolutely perfect. With a beautiful beach, safe swimming, snorkeling and 2.5kms of walking along the beach at sunrise, in Sayang I've found my little slice of paradise on this planet. Already planning a stay at Sayang for a 3rd visit to Lanta in 2026. 10/10 all the way. khop khun mak to all !!!!

Bathroom / shower/ plumbing was VERY basic Toilet facilities on the beach were poor. Having to pay separately for drinks as alcohol is not served by the hotel. Breakfast could become repetitive if you're there a while.

Bar staff were exceptional, so welcoming and fun. Fantastic location if you like a relaxed beach vibe. Not so great if you want nightlife. Great trip @following giants.

I could pick some things but like I said.... who cares when your on the beach in lanta.

Rooms very basic.... but somehow when your in lanta who cares. What more do you need.... a bed... a toilet and shower... and to be literally on the beach. Breakfast not to bad, good choice. Cocktails and food at the restaurant there was really good, lit up on the beach. Our first time here and we would 100% come back. Moped rental from the hotel also. Lovely trees and shrubs with a sea eagle nesting there.

Other guests ‘reserving’ sunbeds with towels from before breakfast and not using them for some hours. There could have been more choice at breakfast and the supply of fresh fruit was sporadic

Rooms were a bit dark due to the dark wood decor. Not enough coat hangers.

Very extensive breakfast selection and restaurant had a lovely BBQ fish dinner on offer. All bungalows separate so gives you space and privacy particularly when you’re on the verandah. Plenty of beach lounges and beach was just sand no rocks. Staff were very helpful when I had some issues with the room. Walk the beach to lots more restaurants or head up to the main road for alternative eateries.

Fabulous location immediately beside a beautiful beach. Range of accommodation from pretty basic bungalows 50-100 metres from the beach but the luxury bungalows closest to the beach are excellent and good value. Good value food, coffee shop, bar and fish bbq and very helpful staff.

The breakfast is fine, but does not offer a great variety if you are after a Continental European breakfast.

Location, Location, Location! The part of Long Beach in front of the hotel is really beautiful and great for bathing. We had a bungalow with sea view. You do not have an unobstructed view of the sea if that is what you are expecting, but it was fine for us nevertheless. The bungalow itself was comfortable, good AC and comfortable bed. It was also super clean, since room cleaning did a good job every day. The only place in which they could improve the bungalow would be a light above the bathroom mirror and a shower curtain.

The only downside was the bed and pillows, which were quite uncomfortable—felt very hard, almost like stone, making it difficult to sleep. If that could be improved, it would make the bungalow absolutely perfect!

I absolutely loved the location and the bungalow! The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. There are also great restaurants and bars nearby, making it a fantastic spot overall.

Wi-Fi could be stronger throughout the property for those who have to work remotely like Mt friend and I had to.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant also had good food for a decent price. Location is perfect as you are right on the beach in just a few steps.
