Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe breakfast is not the best but wasn't a deal breaker.
Enjoyed our stay at Seashell resort. We had a family room which was at the back near the road, which places you within a stones throw of the busy nightlife, however once in your room you cannot hear anything. The room was really spacious with a sliding door between us and our teenage kids. Air conditioning worked great. I was ill whilst there and honestly it was the best place on our trip to have to take to a queensize comfy bed for a few days. I think the resort is a little run down overall but the staff were helpful and friendly. The pool is fine and wasn't ever busy.

United Arab EmiratesWhen showing us to the rooms the reception assistant opened several rooms that had people staying in then, which were not ours.... we booked a bungalow, the receptionist tried to give a normal room and walked in on one person in his bed, another coming out of the shower....There was no power the assistant at the reception forgot to give the card that enables the power. As the reception is closed from 10pm onwards with no emergency number, so we were unable to claim this card. The main assistant at the reception (several ear piercings) was incredibly unpleasant and rude and should really rethink his career as hospitality is certainly not a good match for him.

United KingdomThe huts are very cute on the outside but nothing special on the inside and could maybe do with updating. If you're more about appearances and aesthetics this might not be the place for you. There was one uneven area of decking between the two pools which had people tripping on it every day. It's not a big deal but it could probably do with some warning tape or fixing.
My little hut was everything I needed. Air con worked well and the shower was great. The bed was comfy and there was a little fridge for keeping water in. The pool area is very attractive with plenty of comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas. Breakfast was delicious with a stunning view of the beach. The location was ideal for me.

United KingdomClean site, although construction going on around it, but not too noisy or dusty.
Large spacious room. Great location right by the beach and along the walkway, away from the main road. Close to lots of tasty eating places. Great view for breakfast. Good PADI dive school attached where I was able to do my refresher and join a dive on their boat. World class dive sites around the island. Small island easy to go out and explore the other sites and beaches. Snorkel tour around the island is a must, on one of the day trips (we used Oxygen - excellent).

AustraliaThe staff are rude, abrupt and don’t care (so unusual in Thailand it was jarring) The hotel is old and feral, unloved and unkempt. Marks all over walls, old towels and sheets, bed was floating in middle of room as we were think used to be a twin therefore doesn’t fit against wall anymore, walls are so thin you can hear a mere cough next door let alone the spirited youngsters we were blessed with, wet areas are mouldy, the shower has two settings 1.) cold 2.) so hot it’s like Satan himself is pissing on you, they’re building another something out front so lots of construction, ladders and plastic packing left out front for days on end ruining the ocean view….overall it’s bad
The only good thing is the front pool if you stay in one of the 8 rooms that are allowed to use it (we did thankfully and it was still one of the worst hotels ever)

United KingdomWe stayed in two pool-access rooms near the beach. Everything was great. We had the pool to ourselves for all but about 2 hours of our 4 day stay as it's only accessible from five rooms. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was buffet style with Thai options as well as pancakes, french toast etc. Eggs were made to order. All the staff I dealt with were lovely. The resort is on the edge of Sairee so shops, bars and restaurants are all close but it's not noisy at night. There was some building work going on during our stay but it didn't bother us at all. If you want to stay somewhere in Sairee that's quiet but central and want to lounge about the pool for a few days, this is the place for you.

SwedenWe could not get an extra bed blanket for our room that sleeps 3 people. So two people had to share. The AC was bad/old and it took hours before the room cooled down. You have to go to the reception every morning to get breakfast tickets. The manager was very rude and unfriendly. He also lied and said there were no boat tickets back on the date we wanted to leave (we bought at a seller down the road instead). Rooms were in bad shape for the price you are paying, bathroom needs renovation and the water runs poorly through the drain. The WiFi is not good at all. Would not recommend this place unless prices drop.
Great location, good food in the hotel restaurant and the pool area is nice.

United KingdomOur stay included free breakfast, but we decided not to eat at the restaurant, mostly because the food was more ‘Thai style’ and we preference to eat a more western breakfast.
The hotel was in the perfect location. Close to the beach and great local restaurants. We had pool access room which felt very private and the pool was cleaned every day making it a very welcome spot to relax after a stroll in the heat. Facilities in the room were good and the shower was great!

AustraliaHad to ask for the towels/ linen/ bins to be changed (we stayed for 5 nights) and nothing was done until day 4 when we went to reception. The male receptionist made us feel like we were giving him extra work and was quite annoyed with us- made us feel embarrassed to have to ask. Luckily the cleaner was lovely!

United KingdomThe room was very dated. Loose wires in the ceiling, cracked window, very low pressure shower. There was a lot of noise outside our room so we asked to move. We had AC in our room so asked to move to one with AC but they realised that they put us in the wrong room so tried to charge us. When we refused they turned off our AC. Had to move out 2 nights into our 4 night stay.

Netherlandswe've booked and payed twin rooms since we are with a group of friends. But they were over booked and blamed booking.com for it. They wanted that we share one big family room with two double beds for the 5 of us instead of 3 bungalows. after a while suddenly there was more availible. Dont pay before you've got what you stayed in.

ThailandAll. Staff at the receiption desk are extremly insolent. Start to shouted immidiatly in case of issue. I was not a customer I felt myself as a slave. But i've just asked where the promised taxi from the Pier, because hotel promised to pick you up from the pier for free, but didnt tell you anything about you need to wait the taxi about 40minutes. The road from the pier to hotel takes about 5-6minutes. For sure I didn't wait and get the taxi. The room is too old and durty. We spent a lot of money for pool acess room for our kid and as rusult we didn't use the pool because water and pool as well was too durty. The shower didn't work properly, faucet was broken. And location is terrible because during the all night some foreign tourists walking the street close to your room and sing the songs, laughed loudly until 2-3pm etc. The breakfest was terrable. We didn't eat it. The staff didn't speak English, they don't care about you and your helty. THey didn't hear anything about basic hygiene.
