Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Beds very close together , locker space very limited. Basic rooms
Great location near Haadrin beach for the full moon party! Very basic rooms but comfortable, towels and blankets provided! Host was amazing supplied free water throughout stay and buckets& paint before the full moon party!

The beds were quite rough, my friend saw a cockroach lol, the drains stunk of rotten egg it filled the room with a rotting egg smell, the shower pressure was pretty weak. Hard to find the property at first as on maps it showed it to be down the street from where it actually was.
Really nice staff, free buckets and face paint for the full moon party. Great location as right next to the beach bars and the full moon party.

The bathroom door was stuck and there was a bug in the bathroom… so it could’ve been cleaner.
Loved the staff, the lady was so nice! Also for full moon you get free paint & free buckets so the price is totally worth it.

It is good for one or two days but not very clean or comfortable for more than that. The price was very high, but that is normal for the full moon party.
It is perfect if you are searching for a hostel to stay in during the full moon party as it is right next to it. The owner is super lovely and gives you free body paint, coffee etc.

Bathrooms were small and dirty. Beds were very close to each other. Hope you know the person you’re sleeping next to. Drunk man tried to climb up into my bed at night and would not leave. Disgusting behavior. Owner did not understand me when I told her what happened Luckily I left as soon as possible and took the boat out first thing in he morning. This was the most traumatic experience I have ever had at a hostel in my life. Very unsafe environment. Would not recommend for solo female travelers. Unsafe environment 😡

Nice hostel close to everything, beach 5 min walking, market and shops right next door. We stayed 3 nights during the full moon party in a private room with 2 bed. Room was okay, good thing there is the air con and a Locker. Special thanks to the lady that manage the hostel, always nice and friendly. The night of the full moon party she gave us free body paint and even free bucket drinks, amazing!!!

Was not expecting to be in a 22 bed dorm and the beds were pretty rock hard. I know prices are inflated during the time of the full moon but it felt like a lot of money for not that great value.
The owner was so kind and lovely! We stayed for the full moon and she made sure we got free buckets and UV paint, and she was constantly making sure that there was plenty of cold water in the fridge for us which was wonderful. Super close to Haad Rin.

Maybe more bathrooms would be good.
Staff and owner are so lovely. The owner provides free bottled water. Location is ideal for the full moon party. All within walking distance.

It was a bit difficult to find at first. Also the beds are really close together so there is not much room. It was a bit pricey for one night but this was to be expected the night of the full moon party!
