Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

EstoniaIt is a cozy local place with friendly people and a good breakfast. The room had an air conditioner and was clear. A good option if you want to discover a bit outside of the main road :)

The property is excellent! The owners are amazing! The location is great! I can't say enough how incredible my experience has been staying here. The owners prepared breakfast for me every morning. The property is located within 10 min walk to the beach and to the local food market & 7/11 stores. Internet worked perfectly. Everything was super clean. I loved my stay at this resort!

ThailandGive the air-conditioning unit a deep clean, so that the unit is more efficient.
Had a really lovely 3-night stay here. It was our third time here. We really love the location. Although it's near the shooting range not many people seemed to use it so we only heard it a couple of times each day. It is quite loud so for people with young children this place wouldn't be suitable. The room itself is a bit rustic, so if you want a modern luxury resort this is not your place. What we especially loved was being able to sit on the veranda for our evening meal. Evenings are really quiet. Breakfast is also good. The breakfast area is large with fans, and the breakfast is freshly cooked when you arrive and there is a choice of packet teas and coffees. My only complaint, and this is the same for most hotels/resorts in Thailand, is that they never do a deep-clean on the air-conditioning unit; so although the room was just about cool enough on the lowest temperature and highest fan setting, it could have been better. But, overall, had a fantastic time here and will definitely be back!

ThailandThe resort is near Ta Yai beach and Matata Cafe (a 5-7 minute walk I think. It is also a 7-10 minute walk from Nabaan Pier. During our stay, the staff and owner were very kind and accommodating. Breakfast was good too. It felt like HOME 🏡. They took care of us like a family 👨👩👦👦 Hospitable at its finest 💯 With regards to our room, it was reasonable for the price. Very Thai style if you’d ask me. I LOVED IT ❤️

GreeceVery good location (10' on foot from Naban pier and shops area, 8' from tai yai beach and 3' from a more quiet beach,if you walk around and spot it). Very friendly and hospitable owners and they offer free transportation from and to the pier. they even made an omelete for me when breakfast was served because they noticed I didn't eat any rice or soup: )

RussiaEverything was fine really
Clean and nice house, just a few minutes' walk from the Tien Beach (small, but cozy with crystal clear water and soft white sand). There is a fridge and a small (19" maybe) TV in the room (just turned it on once, not many channels, but found EPL highlights there), A/C works fine, just takes a few minutes to start working properly - the fridge and A/C are not new (looks like 90s), but work flawlessly. The shower room is combined with the toilet as is often done in Thailand, and is large enough to be separated into the "wet" and "dry" areas. WiFi was pretty good, around 20-25 Mbps, I had worse speed on my AIS LTE in the room (around 10 Mbps). Breakfast was served from 7:30 till 9:00 and included fried eggs with sausages, ham and a piece of tomato, a bowl of soup, instant coffee, toasts and jam. Now, you might not appreciate the eggs part as the sausages and ham are just like the ones you'll find in 7/11, but the soup was really good. I believe it would be better if the owners just did Thai breakfasts. The owner was really nice and friendly, showed me around, told me how to get to the beach and even offered to take me back to the pier when I checked out. He can also meet you there with his little truck if you give him a call in advance. One thing that might scare some people off is that there was a little lizard in my room, I was perfectly fine with that, especially given that it ensured there were no other life forms there, but it might be important for some of you.

SwedenPoor facility. Small old houses that have seen their best days 10 years ago. Main traffic road outside so very loud. AC works on a on/off principle. Sink in bathroom had a 2 cm distance from wall and black mold around it. Only pipes kept it up. Shouldn't be on booking.com

Russia- tiny ants and a giant cockroach in the bungalow; - dirty sink; - very hard bed; The bungalow itself not very new or renovated. Flaken wallpapers, dirty sink, insects. Not a luxury place. I've paid for it 1500฿. For example one night on the 25th floor in 5 stars hotel in Pattaya was only 2100฿. Big swimming pool, incredible choice of Thai and international food for breakfast.. For comparative sum at Ko Lan you'll get 2*3,5m swimming pool and simple breakfast. If you're westerner, you'll get a sleepless night on a Thai style hard mattress. Because you're living in countryside some insects will join your stay. Ants will share your bed with you while an enormous cockroach will wait for you to greet in the bathroom. Will I advice this place to my friends? Nope. Will I stay here once more? Nope. It wasn't my first time on Koh Larn so I know some places that will provide a little bit cheaper and a little bit more convenient stay on the island.
- standalone bungalow; - hot water in shower; - very close to Ta Yay beach; - transfer to the pier. Actually I don't know why the overall rating is that high and why some visitors gave this property maximum score. See Cons for details.

IrelandWe paid for “breakfast included” the staff did not offer us breakfast at all. Didn’t even mention it. Bad value for money. Tried to give us a double room when we booked for 6 people
Room was ok.
