Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

All good
Staff is super friendly and amazing. The girls are just lovely... They are keeping clean the hostel all day plus they make your bed and change your towels everyday. Just perfect Just 3 minutes walking to the main beach bars, just one minute from one of my favourites bar to chill out with sea views (sun flower bar) Even when it's close to the party zone, you cannot hear any music from the hostel so you can sleep well

sometimes there is no water but I think that’s a problem in Phi Phi not the hostels fault:)
staff were so so friendly, location is perfect just a short walk from 7/11 and the main centre. Also one street from the party’s but couldn’t here the noise when sleeping! meet the nicest people here and would definitely recommend for solo travellers. Really nice that there is snacks available throughout the day. Rooms where always clean and beds were comfy. Thank you!

Basic facilities. There wasnt anything extra like a pool or garden or social area like you find at most hostels in Asia.
The staff on reception were so kind and beyond lovely, you felt very well looked after. They had cookies and toast on offer for you at all times. Rooms were very clean and quite quiet considering they're on a party island. Others staying were really respectful.

It was very clean. The service was excellent.
The staff was amazing and sweet. Really loved staying there. There is a reason why this place get fully booked because it is clean and the kindness of the staff. I felt at home.

Very nice and welcoming staff, rooms and toilets are regularly cleaned during the day, good size lockers and comfortable beds, free breakfast options and great offers for tours around the island.

Great little hostel, and the lady at reception was absolutely lovely. Rooms were spotless as they were always cleaning the rooms, and even making your bed up. Was given water on arrival which was a nice touch and there was breakfast bits and a water machine that was always available.

Tbh everything was perfect.
Everything! The staff is so nice…they try to help with every problem. Also they take care of cleaning so it’s super clean there. Even my towel was changed everyday.

Nothing.
The lady is super nice and happy! I have spent Christmas here and everybody got a Christmas gift from her (lots of chocolate)! The dorm is full, but clean and there is a nice cute little terrace outside. You don't hear anything from the parties at the beach or from the big pool party nearby. It's still a very good location.

Lovely and clean, quiet at night, free breakfast and cookies and bananas which was lovely. The lady on reception was so nice and friendly and helpful. It’s a bit out the way which means it’s quiet in the evening which I loved.

I was really unlucky since fellow guests were incredibly loud and drunk every single night. There no space in the bathroom whatsoever and the curtains around the bed just don’t go all the way thru. Most annoying was the reception playing the same weird song every night for hours right in front of the room.
The location is a little outside of the party area and still close to the beach and the peer. Everything was really tidy all the time. The staff was super nice, their is coffee and little snacks

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel! The staff were always cheerful and willing to help, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The cleanliness of the hostel was impeccable, and the peaceful ambiance made it a perfect place to relax. Plus, its ideal location near the beach added an extra layer of enjoyment to my experience. Strange difference between the two rooms: the right one had swaying bunks, old bunched up covers and insufficient curtains, the left one was perfect.
Lovely staff (thanks ChoKa) and great location. Felt very good and welcomed. Free water, hot drinks, snacks and bananas!

Only one sink in the bathroom
The lady (receptionist) at the hostel is one of the friendliest hardworking people I’ve seen during my trip. She is constantly cleaning and make sure everybody is comfortable.

The two toilets and showers for the dorm were in combined stalls, so sometimes there could be a wait, and the floor would be very wet - this setup is standard, but an additional separate toilet could have made a difference. Also, the AC did not reach into the bathroom and there was minimal ventilation, so it was stifling and damp in there at all times.
A really good budget option for Phi Phi. The bed was comfortable, and the staff would go out of their way to help and were constantly cleaning the place. The AC worked very well, and there was more than one unit in the dorm, so the dorm was nice and cool all day and night. The lockers were large and fit both my backpack and mid-size duffel comfortably. In terms of price to comfort ratio for hostels in Phi Phi, this place was great!

the employees are extremely friendly and helpful. Have never experienced such a great treatment by the staff. The terrace is beautiful and everything very clean. If i ever come back to Phi Phi I will return to this hostel. it is far enough away from the Parties and bustling part of town to get a good sleep but close enough to enjoy the parties and everything

The ac was always on and the rooms were freezing at night.
The staff was amazing! So friendly and caring. The rooms and bathtooms were deep cleaned everyday, plus the bed was made and we got fresh towls. Location is perfect. Close to the beach and everything else but quite enough to sleep.
