This hostel was absolutely fantastic – one of the best I've ever stayed in. It excelled in cleanliness, staff hospitality, and overall atmosphere. The location was also perfect, very accessible and right by the beach.

It does have a few drawbacks like a common area, making it hard to socialize with other travelers if youre travelling solo. Despite these minor issues, the welcoming environment, cleanliness, and exceptional hosts make up for it.

Sweett Lemon Hostel in Patong is a great and welcoming place to stay, made even better by the amazing hospitality of owners Pang and Pan. They go out of their way to make guests feel at home, offering a warm smile, giving great local recommendations and they make your bed clean everyday in the morning after you wake up. Also the best is just 2 minutes away from the place and 5 mins walk to the walking street. While it’s slightly pricier than some other hostels in the area, the attention to cleanliness, comfort, and service makes up for it.

What’s not to like, this place is perfect !

This review is long over due because I stayed here last month for a long period of time and when I tell you this is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in ! The best ! Pang (the owner) and the rest of the girls, I wish I remembered their names but they were so sweet and accommodating. This will be the safest and cleanest hostel you’ll stay in and take it from someone who strictly did 4-5 star hotels with no bedroom to share so you can imagine I was hestitant to stay at a hostel but this was by far one of the best choices I made choosing this place to stay. If you want a sense peace in the chaos of Patong this is your spot ! Don’t second guess it, I will come back and stay here over and over again. Location 5/5 Clean 10/5 Hospitality 1000/5. This was a great way to end my 4 month stay in Thailand. highly recommend !

Limited public/shared space, but I suppose it's exactly how the place is kept so clean all the time.

Located 1 min from the beach, extremely convenient neighborhood, nice and tidy, run by very pleasant and hospitable staff. I was a bit anxious at first because it was my first stay at a hostel, but then I ended up surprised by how comfortable it can be. Highly recommended, especially for a single traveler like myself. Definitely number one choice for my next visit to the city.

Although it is located in Patong and within walking distance to Bangla Road, the hostel is situated on a fairly quiet street. However, there is a construction site nearby that caused me to wake up early in the mornings.

The hostel is definitely very clean. Before entering, you take off your shoes and wear slippers, just like you would at home. Despite the shared use of the bathrooms and toilets, they were always clean. The hostel owner, Pang, speaks very good English and lives in the hostel, so you can always reach her. I'm sure she'll help you with anything you need with her pretty smiling face. Plus, it's a safe place.

The only one thing which is personal for me is there was no coffee. But having sat down chatting and spending time with the owners. It is something that they are going to be putting in place. 🙌🏻

The Sweett Lemon Hostel. Is run by two amazing young lady's and their house keeper. All three done their upmost to make sure everything was OK and help in anyway possible to make your stay as good as it could be. This Hostel is a new Hostel but runs like it has been running for a long time. Everything is immaculate at the property. The location is excellent in a quiet street away from the noise and hassle and bustle, yet just a 2min walk from the beach and 5 mins from lots of main attractions. An Excellent Hostel. If I return to Phuket this is the place I would stay.

The chilling area outside is tiny.. you can meet people but its not a classic hostel with a big space to spend time at. Can get noisey from the street.

The staff is really helpful always there for you. And smiling.. very nice girls. Its clean, to be honest more clean than a private hotel. They clean after everyone who goes in. The location is 10/10 yet it comes with some noise at night, not everynight, only if you are sobber u will notice it. Yet they tried to help with noise blocker on the window, yet its a minor problem since the other room was quiet. Its cosy, small and you get the best out of hostel. Water cooler to fill ur bottle. Felt very safe. You have your own locker Bathrooms and shower always was available and super clean Less than a minute to the beach and bangala road Bed is very comfy and clean, good pillows. Good AC. New hostel, so everything is new.

I recently stayed at Sweet Lemon Hostel near Patong Beach, and it was an incredible experience. The hostel is brand new and impeccably clean, thanks to the dedication of the hosts, both named Pang. They’re always there to help with anything you need, making the stay even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is calm and aesthetic, providing a perfect escape from the bustling Patong area, while still being conveniently close. The crowd is classy and friendly, adding to the overall charm of the place. I wish Sweet Lemon Hostel all the best and believe it’s going to become very popular. I’ll definitely be returning, even if it’s just to enjoy the unique vibe and hospitality once again.

Honestly it's the best hostel I've seen so far. The only improvement I can think of is space. The rooms are tiny, there is barely any space for storing your luggage. That can be a challenge when traveling with a big suitcase. So keep that in mind. Otherwise everything is perfect 🫶

It's exceptionally clean, especially for a hostel. I literally saw them cleaning even the walls and the ceiling fan. Bathrooms cleaned multiple times a day. Comfy beds with proper: mattresses and spotless sheets. They change bed sheets on request up to every two days and towels daily (I didn't need them changed this often but love the possibility to ask whenever you need). The owners very super kind and helpful. The live the hostel themselves, therefore they really treat it like home and are always available if you need something. Everyone I met here was nice and even though the hostel lacks a proper social area you'd often find someone sitting at the table outside to have a chat over a drink with.

There is absolutely nothing to not like. Everything is perfect

This is one of the best hostels I ever stayed at. Pen was absolutely brilliant and sweet. She is ready to help you with anything you need. The hostel is very clean and you can see that she cares a lot about her guests. Very comfortable bed, hot shower and clean toilets. I loved that the girls rooms are on the second floor which is amazing for the privacy while the guys downstairs. It’s only 2 min walk to the beach and the Main Street with all the shops and everything you can think of. I will definitely return there. Thank you Pen for your hospitality

My week-long stay at this hostel was absolutely amazing! The fantastic hosts went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed and were always ready to help with anything. Their kindness and warm hospitality truly made me feel at home, and I couldn’t have asked for better people to look after me. The location is unbeatable—just a two-minute walk to Patong Beach, markets, great restaurants, and more. The hostel itself is sparkling clean and smells wonderful, as it’s cleaned daily with great care. It’s clear the hosts take a lot of pride in keeping the place welcoming and comfortable for guests. I’m so grateful for such a wonderful experience and wish them both lots of success and happiness. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting the area!
