We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomThere was no Breakfast. I knew that before booking anyway. The Swimming pool that is advertised with photos on their website does not exist. If they don't want to build a real swimming pool perhaps they should build a breakfast room with a buffet. It would attract more customers because that is one of the things potential guests look for in a hotel before booking
The rooms were comfortable. The WI FI was good. it was very close to the beach which is just across the road.

CanadaWe arrived just after 3:00pm and were told that someone booked at the same time as us and paid for a room, so they no longer had one for us. We had a confirmed reservation through Booking.com. They told us the same family owned the hotel around the corner and they could accommodate us there. Okay, that works, but then we got there and they wanted to charge us more and wouldn’t honour the price we booked at.
Looks like a decent hotel and location would have been great to be able to enjoy the International Kite Festival. Lots of restaurants, stores and the beach is super close.
