The rooms have everything you need and the WiFi is decent too. You’re also close enough to all the markets especially the Sunday Night Market which is the biggest of the week. Our host was also incredible helpful when we needed to get some visas printed off, she was more than happy to help which made our lives much easier too!

You can hear a lot of noise from the street. We were unlucky as there were construction works at 3am in the street.

The photos are a tiny bit deceptive, only in that they are taken from the best angle. The room looked bigger, the balcony view looked over a street that was little more than an alley.

Good location. Tons of places to eat within walking distance. Because it is in the old city, all the excursions I signed up for would pick me up at the hotel. The woman that ran the hotel was very nice.

There is quite a bit of street noise, but during Songkran this is to be expected. For those that what the nightlife action it is about a 20-30 minute walk away but transport is easily found for 1-4 dollars and takes mere minutes.

Very clean peaceful stay. On the outer edge of old town, many sites to see within walking distance. The owners are pleasant to deal with and booking excursions is easy.

The room I was in had quite a lot of ants, though this didn't bother me too much. The room was also slightly small, with the bed taking up most of the space, although having a spacious balcony made up for it.

Really comfortable and affordable accommodation to remote work from. The amenities like aircon, WiFi and hot water all worked well. There are also only a couple of rooms on each floor so privacy was well maintained. The hostel was also very well located, being near to good (vegan) food as well as massage parlours.

My only issue was that the reception wasn’t often staffed and we tried to check out at 7am as per the reception hours but no one was available. However, after contacting them we were able to ‘self check out’ with no real issue

Lovely room with a lot of light and a lovely balcony. They run a lovely cafe downstairs too that does great coffee. Staff were very accommodating and allowed us to store luggage on arrival and departure. They very kindly prioritised our check in too which was greatly appreciated after an extremely long travel. Location wise it’s in a great spot on the edge of Old Town and you can walk to most attractions within the Old Town in 20 mins.

When arriving here for check-in at given time I was told there is no room available for me. They asked ME to cancel the booking. I did not fall for this trick as I had provided my card details, and according to the booking rules costs would have incurred for cancellation made by the customer. They said this wouldn't happen in this case, but of course there was no trust anymore. I was quite worried for this kind of business conduct, and to be on the safe side I disabled online payments for my card.

What surprises me is that they did not cancel the booking after telling me there was not vacancy at all available. So they ended up paying commission for nothing to Booking.com and I was able to write this testimony.
