Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe thought the breakfast would benefit from some improvement.
Lovely place, incredible location, great views and so nice to wake up right on the beach. Transfer from Tonsai Pier (the main village) was straightforward. Very friendly and helpful staff.

United KingdomBed was really uncomfortable. There was no area to relax in the evening. Sitting in the restaurant area was ok but it has so many opportunities within the building that could be used for a lounge area
Location is superb. It’s away from the hustle and bustle and really quiet. Bamboo huts were almost on the beach

United Kingdomterrible breakfast, sounds cheap for what it is but you have to spend over 2,000 baht a day getting to and from the town (hardly any boats into town from Hotel). Would recommend to the hotel to hire someone who can constantly ferry people to the pier..would be happy to pay an extra £10 a day for that.
Secluded, stunning views, clean and lovely beach, good equipment, comfortable beds and clean rooms

AustraliaThe biggest problem I had here is staff and their level of service. Everything was constantly off. Breakfast was terrible.
The ocean-view villa I had was excellent. Old and definitely in need to be freshened up, but otherwise great for a short stay to enjoy the view.

The location is a charming private beach that offers stunning views and a lovely atmosphere. The beach itself is well-maintained and a pleasure to visit. Additionally, the staff were friendly and attentive, and I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast options available.

PortugalWe loved our stay! We booked for 7 nights, and it felt almost like a spiritual retreat! We reserved the beachfront cabin, and it was spectacular! We woke up every day to watch the sunrise—it was breathtaking! Also we loved the beach!!!!! We went to the city whenever we needed something, but we were always in a hurry to get back to the hotel. We didn’t like the city beaches—the water was very dirty because of the boats passing by. Too many people in such a small space… We much preferred the tranquility of the hotel. The breakfast was very good! The rooms are cleaned daily, with fresh linens and towels, and they restock water and coffee. The staff was very attentive and friendly! We felt at home! 10/10 Thank you.

United StatesThis location was a nice break from reality - it was separate from the rest of the island, had ferries and accessible taxi boats to and from the hotel, had everything you need at the resort, and had beautiful views!

IrelandThe place is in a remote locations, you can reach it basically by boat only. So you would have boats coming in at all times, even during the nights. And the huts where you sleep are of course not soundproof. So you are woken up all the time.
Amazing location. Restaurant is of course a bit more expensive than your usual one in Thailand, but the flavour and the portions are good. Cocktails are also very very good. Staff is very kind. Would stay again

United KingdomTwo stand out issues 1) Not enough loungers on the beach. This is a beach resort so comfy places to relax is critical. 2) The Thai food could be more authentic and the restaurant decor could use a little love.
Fabulous secluded cove with nice beach. We stayed in a large comfortable villa with a spectacular ocean view. If you want to enjoy the beautiful island of Phi Phi without the crowds and at reasonable cost this is a great option. I would also recommend getting up early and walking to the view point.

AustraliaWe booked the beach shack which was nice and minimalistic however the beds were quite hard and small,my partner who’s 6’3 barely fit. Although it does looks like you’ll be eaten alive by mossys, I didn’t find any inside the shack despite there being gaps in the bamboo. Overall was quite happy considering it’s 3 stars
This is a lovely location on the quieter side of phi phi would highly recommend for 2/3 nights to get away and relax from the busy main strip. Some of the best food we had on our stay was at their restaurant. The complimentary shuttle on check in and out was fantastic.

United KingdomThere was limited numbers of sun loungers on the beach, and there were no comfy covers for these. BBQ food is available some months but not during our stay. People should note that the delightful beach looses the sun during the afternoon, which can be a blessing!
Lovely view. Trips possible and good value. Mini market with very reasonable prices. paddle boards and kayaks available at fair prices.Range of food at the restaurant. Excellent cocktails and well worth the price.Great room with excellent bathroom and separate toilet with wardrobe and draws in the corridor which helps keep the large bedroom looking pristine.Excellent views and large private balcony. Bedding and towels change daily as well as room cleaned. Quiet fridge and good air conditioner with a separate central fan. Great choice of room lighting and a helpful LED low light surrounding the enormous bed so no nasty leg injuries if one went to the loo at night! Also, there were manned electric buggies to take folk up and down to their rooms.

United KingdomNot that this is anyone's fault but I feel it's good for other guests to know before booking. The private beach at the hotel was lovely but during our stay the tide came in by lunchtime and then didn't get any sun.
The ocean cliff villa was just stunning and perfect for a relaxing few days. The meals in the evenings were really good. We did the jungle trek from the cove which was a little tough until we got to the main road and saw all the viewpoints which were magical. If your happy to have a few days relax this is the place for you but not much to do in the evenings as you need a boat over to main bit. So if you like to party I would avoid staying here.
