Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceThe hotel was only reachable by taxi boat, which is amazing to closer to nature. However past 5pm, the hotel’s taxi boat can’t be used to go the center.
The hotel was beautiful. It consists in several huts close to the jungle and the beach. Staff was also very nice.

United KingdomThe actual bungalows are very basic but so authentic. The water was a little yellow from iron so not for those seeking luxury and mod cons
This remote place on Phi Phi is so perfect and a complete paradise. Away from all the hussle and bussle. We basically had the place to ourselves. The staff are unbelievably friendly and so sweet who make you feel like royalty. Snorkelling here has the most amazing coral and I couldn't tell you how many different species of fish I saw, I loved it and was in the sea most of the day. Food and drink very nice

the cottages are nice and well located. Very nice views. The house has the most important things, fridge, air conditioning, etc. the facility's service was very nice.

United KingdomOnly one minor thing I'd say, if you were stopping here for more than 3 nights you may struggle with the choice for meals of an evening with not the biggest menu.
Everything, the views, the beautiful huts/villas, the amazing staff, the tranquility. This place was that good we added an extra night to our stay. Also the food was so tasty. Pure bliss.

ChinaToo far from the main town so there wasn’t anything to do. Outside our room was a large tree which unfortunately obscured our “ocean view.” There was also only the hotel restaurant that was easily accessible - it was a lot much expensive than nicer restaurants in town. A
Situated right next to a beach. Hiking can allow you to access the viewpoints of the island.

United KingdomWe spent New Year in this very tranquil, off the beaten track resort. Having been on the road for a few weeks it suited us perfectly to be away from crowds. The bamboo cabins are very comfortable and it is wonderful to go to sleep to the sound of the waves right outside. Breakfast and all food was delicious. It is important to be aware of the fact that this resort is quite a long distance by boat from all the island facilities and once you arrive here, you have your cabin, the beach and one restaurant .

United KingdomThe restaurant setting is perfect, but compared to other places we stayed the food and drinks were a little more expensive (due to the location probably) and maybe not quite as high a standard, but still good.
Cove Phi Phi is a little remote feeling slice of paradise, away from the back packers party centre of the island. Beautiful rooms, lovely helpful staff, amazing house reef for snorkelling, stunning sunrises.

United StatesThe location was too remote for us. We didn’t get there till 5pm and had to get our own boat to the hotel as they had no more transfers. We were there in late December and the water after 2/3pm is very choppy and access to the hotel via boat is very limited. The walking access is more of a 45 min hike as it goes via the viewpoints you may have to pay. They do offer 2 boat transfers to the main part of the island at a price. The restaurant/bar at the hotel was very average with no real entertainment. With it being impossible to get back to the hotel at night we were quite bored in the evening.
The only good feature to this hotel is the view. It is fantastic!

United KingdomThe beach is lacking sunbeds and shade but there are towels, beach mats and snorkeling equipment all for free.
The location was gorgeous, very clean and quiet. Staff were amazing and very attentive to our daughter (aged 2) always playing with, talking to and giving her fresh flowers and small gifts of fruit etc. The pick up from Tonsai was smooth and booking trips and transfers very easy. The beach was very clean and private. Accommodation was great with stunning views, we had a cliff top villa. It is hilly especially up to the villas but not a negative as they will take you up in a small vehicle on request. Food is great but a but more pricey than other places, this is to be expected for a secluded location. Quality was great though.

Italy-the beach was dirty, had a lot pieces of plastic and trash -the beach was not furnished with deckchairs but only old plastic chairs -the breakfast was poor and not very appetizing. We asked for a simple cappuccino and they wanted us to pay extra -one of us was not feeling well and we asked to cancel the the tour but they told us that it was too late even if we didn’t sign anything or leave a deposit -the restaurant was very basic
The ocean villa room was beautiful and with an amazing view

AustriaIMPORTANT: this place is good for staying max. 1-2 nights. You can only get there by water taxi, and due to tides it does not go very often. So for dinners you're stuck. You can walk to the city on a jungle trek, but you're gonna be eaten by mosquitoes and it takes 1 1/2 hrs to get there. Also, we stayed in a total of 3 different rooms as our room had a defective A/C the first night and another issue another night - none of which was the hotel's fault. It was nice they let us sleep in another villa. Finally, the beach is beautiful but you should have beach shoes as there are a few rocks. Also few and very simple and old and partially broken seats at the beach.
The view from the room was absolutely stunning! Also, it is very nice and quiet there, perfect to wind down. The food at the restaurant, although a bit pricy, was also very tasty! Staff was always friendly and very helpful.

IrelandWi-Fi is very bad. And the 4 or 5g network doesn’t work very well either. When we went by boat to the hotel, the sea was very wavy and we got soaked, the bags from the guests were also soaked after ride. Also I felt a little bit unsafe as the long tail looks very old and they didn’t offered us any life jackets.
The staffs are very friendly. Everything is very organized. They were awaiting for me at the pier which is very handy as the only way to be at the hotel is by boat. The breakfast and all the food at the restaurant are amazing. The laundry is very helpful. The view from the bangalô is stunning.
