Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

HungarySome of the staff do not speak English. Unfortunately, this was also the case with our waitress. We asked for three main courses, one of which she forgot to bring, the second we asked for takeaway but she brought it before any other dish, and instead of the third we got something completely different and we pointed out that this was not what we had asked for, but she either did not understand or did not want to help us solve this problem.
The whole place is beautiful, the atmosphere is wonderful. Its own beach, not crowded with tourists, clear, crystal clear water. The view was breathtaking.

RussiaA small area for swimming, since there are a lot of hedgehogs around, in the evenings, due to the tide and the high possibility of stumbling upon a hedgehog, you can’t swim, and in the morning until lunch there is a strong low tide, according to my observations, almost no one from the vacationers swam. Great distance from the main places on the island, the route through the mountains is difficult, and it will be expensive to ride a boat all the time
Great view, good service (free kayaks, cheap laundry, timely cleaning), clean room with AC and powerful fan

BrazilAs it's isolated, you can only eat at the hotel restaurant, which is a bit pricey. We stayed in a bamboo bangalow and it was dark and a bit dingy. We couldn't see properly inside the room. Bed linen and towels were dark brown too, which didn't help. Bedroom and bathroom are pretty basic for the price. However, we spent most of our time outside and were really happy with our stay in the end. Also, beware you can only reach the property by boat.
The private beach was a dream! Clearwater, perfect for snorkeling, white sand, blue water, real paradise. Staff was really nice. Sweet cats around the hotel. You can see the sunrise on the beach and walk up the mountain to watch the sunset (need to pay 20 bath at the viewpoint, but worth it). The hotel provides snorkel, kayak, and beach towels with no charges. No mosquitos in the room.

Russia- The worst food experience in Thailand - the place where you're typically enjoying delecious and also cheap meals. That's not the case with this place at all. Not so cheap and just terribly cooked. Breakfast are just a joke. The thing is you can't just go out and try other restaurants because they do not recommend to return later in the evening. - The main beach area is clean but just 10 meteres further - it's awfully garbaged. - Location is not comfortable if you want to visit the central part of the island.
+ View is just unbelievable, you can take snorkeling equipment without additional fees. + Free transfer from Tonsai Pier (just make sure you'll arrive before the last boat departs) and to the pier when checking out. + You can book a boat trip at the reception and visit all the beautiful sights around. + Bungalow is just ok.

LithuaniaIf you are planning on going out of the resort to the town - you probably won't like the setting. It's either ~1 hour walk in the jungle with high descent/ascent (it tooks us 2 hours, because it's easy to get lost), or you take a longboat taxi which might stop its services altogether when the tide is high and it becomes dangerous to navigate.
It's truly remote and calm - meaning no loud music or drunk troves of people. You are basically staying in the resort, eat there (we were super surprised about the food - one of the best we've eaten in Thailand) and sunbath/nap/snorkel. Overall, the resort gives you a very authentic and raw experience of living on a beach. Finally, the staff was extremely lovely! Best wishes to you all and thanks for making our stay so pleasant.

GermanyThe breakfast buffet were quite limited and didn’t set up to the standard of the room price. The boat shuttle service is quite confusing which leads to us needing to pay additional to the boat taxi to bring us there. The bathroom weren’t exactly the same like in the booking picture.

United KingdomWe stayed for 1 night as it was my partner's birthday. Not really much to moan about, I couldn't see us lasting more than 1 day even though we requested more time as there just was nothing to do apart from sit on beach and eat.
It was secluded, beautiful, hard to get to and remote. Snorkelling from the beach was great.

United KingdomWith more investment, this could really be a wow property. The room and gardens are really beautiful but after that, there isn’t much atmosphere or excitement. We tried to do a walk up to a viewpoint (recommend the hotel trying to maintain the first part of the walk so it’s more inviting/looks like a path so noone gets confused). The beach didn’t have sun lounges, just chairs to sit on. There was no music in the bar area so it was quite a flat experience having a drink or food. The food was just ‘ok’, a little basic and we were often waiting for menus or to get served. The key problem is that if you arrive outside of the hotels taxi schedule (pickup stops after 1.30pm), you have to pay £28 (1200-1500 baht) for a water. On other days, the hotel offers a 400 baht taxi each way if you want to explore the main part so it can really add up. As a warning, try to get the early ferry or speedboat across if you’re staying at this hotel so that transfer is free. We tried contacting the hotel via booking.com for guidance on reaching their hotel and got no response. If you want total seclusion and you plan to spend time in your room or enjoy total quiet, you’ll love it!!!!
We loved the room itself. It was overlooking the sea and had a lovely balcony with sun lounges. The shower was also lovely with a big bright window. One of the best rooms of our holidays so far! Staff were very friendly. When the sea went out, you can walk near the coral and see all the lovely sea creatures eg crabs, sea urchins, clams.
