Nothing. Note that it doesn’t have a pool, but we didn’t need one.

It’s a stunningly beautiful building inside and out, a vintage gem, but with discreet modern features (aircon, decent showers). A tranquil oasis right in the centre of the old town, it was a perfect place to escape after experiencing the mayhem of the Sunday market. The private salons for hotel guests are gorgeous. Thailand is renowned for service with a smile, but the staff here are the friendliest we’ve encountered anywhere! (Thank you Papa, Nathan, Jenny, Philip, Penny). The complimentary little snacks, cafetière in the room, Phuket breakfast desserts (worth getting up early for- served only before 9), and the all day light breakfast and evening bar service at Cafe Mem, all made for a comfortable stay.

Rooms are with doors and windows indoor to the lobby which might lead to noise especially in the evening and morning. But more than okay.

Staff was excellent and incredibly helpful and friendly. Would return just for them. Rooms small but nice and clean. Location in the historic centre. Generally good vibes and nicely decorated.

I have nothing that I didn’t like

Very clean. Exactly as described when booked. The staff including Nene , papa , Jane , Alan , Nathan , Philip , pleng , mang,jib , tiw , Nan , Mai, Now, pia, nui, mangkorn , fen , pia , may, Were all extremely professional and made my trip so much easier. I arrived a week after an unexpected accident and surgery. From the moment I arrived they were the kindest and most helpful people you could ever want in such circumstances. I had to change room because it wasn’t possible for me to get up and downstairs because of my injury. The new room was beautiful too. The wonderful hotel management appointment the incredible member of staff NeNe to make sure that my 3 night stay was as comfortable and enjoyable and as stress free as possible. She went above and beyond to make this happen. From getting food and drink for me to helping me get to and from the hospital most days and just being available for a chat when I needed it. I cannot put into words what a difference this made to my mental health after such a traumatic accident. Words alone cannot express my gratitude to everyone at this hotel. I will visit again and highly recommend to everyone who will be visiting Phuket and the beautiful country which is Thailand.

Cannot fault it

It was clean and comfortable. We had a little patio off our room was beautiful to sit on or just have the doors open and have fresh air come in. Staff were very helpful and attentive. The hotel is very quaint, and had lots of little nooks to explore and relax in.

Its a very old hotel, you would forgive any of its shortcomings and find its quirks and charms endearing.

A storied hotel oozing with charm, in a location that is hard to beat in the middle of Old Phuket Town. Love the welcome drinks and free daily available snacks. The hotel itself is a destination and many a passerby, unbeknownst to them, walk by and get stunned by its charms, beckoning them to have a peek and enter out of curiosity. That's what I witnessed on the daily. Loads of photogenic spots within the hotel to take photos. Good for couples and architectural enthusiasts alike. A gem in the middle of a gem of a town.

The walls are very thin, so you can easily hear the sounds from the room next door and from the corridors.

The location is very good at the heart of Phuket old town.

No possibility of having breakfast included is a minus for us especially since the place itself has a bar and would not see why it is so complicated to have this included as a service. The walls are not that soundproof so if you have loud neighbours it can get quite difficult to ignore.

Location with a character being the oldest hotel in the Phuket old town; it's very well maintained and offers a relaxing and magical atmosphere. Very clean. It's full of details to a level that it looks as a museum, and in the nearby area you can find a lot of bars and restaurants.

My minor negative was the pillow comfort but I have no doubt the staff would have been accommodating in sourcing something suitable for my medical needs had I discovered they were too high initially but I was too eager to get exploring.

The welcome was genuine and warm. The building is beautiful and it felt like a living museum. Loved the decor, colours and furniture. Staff were amazing and so helpful. We will be returning soon and in future stays.

Nothing! Everything was perfect for a small very atmospheric boutique hotel in the town center.

The hotel was centrally located in town, walking distance from some very goof Michellin rated restaurants and the shopping street. The room was small but comfortable and equipped with what we needed. The staff was incredible. They were very kind, helpful and accommodating. We will return here if we once again find ourselves in Phuket.

None of the below list would deter me from staying again, I loved this place! But good for people to know, 1. there was a touch of mould smell and some little termite looking bugs on the table but they were harmless and with the humidity of thailand the mould is inevitable. 2. the shower pressure and temperature was fluctuating and you need to push the water down the hole after having a shower otherwise you will hear drips all night 3. the attached cafe looked a bit pricey

This hotel is a museum. There are so many amazing collections. And it has great staffs and great service.
