The beach is not very nice. The rooms are a bit too small and full of things (we like a more minimalist style)

Nothing to find fault with.

Every last detail had been thought through, the design, the privacy, the luxury and the convenience. The swim-up bar, the direct access to the beach, the row of restaurants and shops just up the road. The staff are cheery and greet every guest by name every time they see them. It exceeds the advertised photos. The sea view villas as well as the sea front villas are wonderful. With our booking we had two villas so had a chance to see all of them. There is a very large private pool just for the villas as well as a good sized private pool for each villa as well as the main pool with the bar. Once there it is also clear that each apartment in the block section also has their own pool, even on the first and second floors. It felt calm and quiet, although sometimes busy at breakfast, which has everything you might want including the best Thai omelettes, it never felt crowded. Just a handful of children.

We loved everything!

We travelled as a family of 5, myself & my husband & 3 teenage children (14, 17 & 19) We absolutely loved everything about this resort. The staff were amazing, always had a smile on their faces & nothing was ever too hard or inconvenient for them. My daughter celebrated her birthday while we were visiting & the staff made her feel very special with her bed decorated & a cake provided. The shuttle too and from the resort to the main street was such a perfect and convenient touch. We had tours organised through the resort, this was fantastic too.

Our stay at Little Shore, Khao Lak Resort, was truly one of the most beautiful experiences we’ve ever had. Although it’s located about 1.5 hours from Phuket Airport by transfer, the distance is well worth it if you’re looking to escape the bustling city crowds. Nestled right by an expansive beach, the resort offers the perfect setting to enjoy the sea and the pool in peace and serenity. Getting around was also a breeze! The friendly bellboys were always eager to take us to the main road via buggy (just a quick 5-minute ride), or you can opt for a pleasant 10-minute walk. Nearby, you’ll find plenty of shops and a 7-Eleven for essentials like water or snacks. For those who love exploring local culture, the night market—with its vibrant street food and clothing stalls—is only a 10-minute taxi ride away. The interiors of the resort were stunning—brand new and tastefully decorated. The open layout of the hotel lets you soak in breathtaking sunsets right on the beach. A special mention to Bobby at the reception, who helped us book unforgettable excursions to the Similan and Surin Islands. If you’re staying in this area, we highly recommend these tours! Our room (8816) was spacious and elegantly minimalistic, complete with our own private pool. Relaxing by the pool in the evenings was such a highlight of our trip! We would absolutely love to return in the future. Thank you to the wonderful team for making our stay so special—until next time!

Nothing, it was all amazing!

Location was great right by stunning beach, quiet but also walkable to town. Facilities superb, and this is a brand new hotel. Room was amazing (pool suite) and main pool / bars and restaurants were all excellent. Great gym too. Above all of this is the levels of customer service which are incredible. Everyone is friendly and wants to help, and we were so well looked after. Would 100% return.

My only negative about this place is I felt the menu varied but was rather limited in terms of the number of options- especially for room service. I found for lunch and dinner we were mainly eating the same meals which we were sick of after a few days. They also don’t cater much to dietary requirements, only a few vegetarian dishes and lots of seafood in their dishes which some people don’t eat. The buffet breakfast had no gluten free bread or cakes which was disappointing. Perhaps I should have asked them and I’m sure they would have catered to it because the service was very good.

Loved how modern and fancy this resort was. From the moment we got there we were greeting by the most kind, friendly and welcoming staff. You’re made to feel important as soon as you check in. The accomodation itself was beautiful and clean. We stayed in the sea view pool suite which was elite, though expensive which is expected for that kind of room. Fantastic location looking over the beach with incredible sunsets. It’s a smaller resort so usually the sun beds are all taken by mid morning which was annoying. But you can grab a towel and lay on the beach or on the grass area which was just as good. Overall I would definitely pay the money to stay here again. The food was of high quality and had a decent variety of different dishes.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The hotel itself is amazing, they have all the facilities you could possibly ask for. The staff are very attentive and go above and beyond to make your visit a memorable one, Jerry in particular was great fun and very helpful, and made a lasting impression on us. We would definitely stay here again if we came back to Khao Lak.

We loved The Little Shore - brand new, lovely and comfortable room, great breakfast, lovely pool, gym, grounds, views, beach and more… and the staff were so great! Jew-Jew left us a new towel animal every day, Jerry and Nescafe remember everyone’s name and zinged us around in their carts and everyone went out of their way to make us feel special… which I assume they do for everyone but it really works! Thanks everyone for such a fun stay.
